Worthless Company ever. Paid my car loan off in January 2021. Paid a total of 71k. Asked for a lean release from them and never recieced it. Called again still never received it. Called 2 months later spoke with supposed supervisor who was talking to finance and was going to FedEx the document, still waiting on that callback and tracking number. Glad I am not holding my breathe. Still can't get my truck registered in my name. Called the dealership and they were nice enough to send me another temperate so I don't get pulled over. Now it is almost expired again and still have yet to get my lein release letter.

Apparently Ally made a clerical error that merged my account with someone else back in October. That was about the time I stopped getting bills from Ally. When I called to inquire why I no longer received a bill, I was given no explanation. Fast forward to 3/22, I received a voice mail from someone who indicated they were now part owner of my car due to Ally's incompetence. I called the person back who explained his situation and promptly called Ally who told me that they saw a fraud case that was opened up in January and NOTHING had been done. Ally has done nothing to fix this, this is unacceptable. I called again today 3/23, still nothing has been done. They can't direct me to the fraud department or help in any way, just continue to tell me they are sorry, blah, blah, blah. You are right, they are sorry. The person who was given co ownership of my car tried calling for months along with his attorney, still Ally did nothing. FIX THIS NOW!!!

I've been trying to get a simple answer about minimum requirement for insurance on my vehicle. After many attempts, and speaking with customer service agents, I have been unable to obtain a correct answer. I asked to speak to s supervisor or manager and was told someone would have to call me back within 48 hours. That was unacceptable to em and I asked to hold. I've now been on hold waiting for a supervisor for 43 minutes. The customer service agent told me that I might be on hold for the entire day. She was rude and I'm sure she is purposely keeping me on hold with no intention of ever putting my call through.

I paid my car loan off with Ally Bank 2 years ago in August 2012. I am now in the process of trying to obtain a home improvement loan and I'm being told that I don't qualify due to my car loan with Ally Bank which still showing on my credit report 2 years later August 2014 as unpaid (which this loan was paid in full 2 years ago with Ally) and I currently do not have a car loan/payment. I called the number today and was told it would take 4 hours to receive a fax comfirmation showing that this loan was satified. I had to call back due to not receiving the fax, once received it showed the loan satification date as being today not 2 years ago. I then requested the loan history which will show the actual date of the payoff of August 2012, I was informed again it would take another 4 hours to receive this document by fax (4 hours to fax a document that I needed yesterday, what a joke)and I wouldn't have needed the document if Ally would have taken care of clearing this off my credit history 2 years ago. I'm still on hold with yet another representive as I am typing this. I have spoken to a total of 4 representatives so far and 2 manager today and spent over 1 1/2 hours on the phone, I certainly hope this situation get resolved with the credit bureaus soon, but I'm being to wonder because I feel like I'm dealing with a lot of incompetent indivduals at this bank. I plan on calling the coorporate office to complain as well when I get a chance, it may not be today but I plan on calling, hopefully someone there and can make sure this situation gets resolved with the credit bureaus. I'm still waiting another 4 hours to obtain the fax for my required documents so I can get my home improvement loan, what a joke.

My name is joyce calloway, and I have been trying to pay my car pmt. It is primarily a new acct. My first pmt. was late, that I pd on Feb. 1, 2014. I sent to wrong address that was on an Ally paperwork. It was re routed to Arizona 15 days late. And now it is in collection. Since the first pmt. was posted, I have tried to make 3/01/14 pmt. Four persons said they will clear out old login etc. out, so I can start with a new login/password and get into pmt. infro. and get the ball rolling so i can stay current as I did in the old acct.

I work at a bank and I am shocked with Ally bank. I am trying to get my car payment drafted from my account and was told to fax the form and it would be taken care of. I called to check and they said they don't have it on record. I faxed this form 13 times and they still can not see it coming through and would not help me. Who would have thought you would have to beg a bank to take your money right from your account to make sure they are paid. I will close my account and pay the extra intrest to another bank just to have the trust that you should get from a bank. I would advise everyone, don't trust your money with theses people........

I LOVE THIS BANK!! I have been w/ Ally for almost a year and would happily recommend them to anyone. I had a dispute w/ the worst store to dispute - Wal-Mart; yet Ally gave Me a credit w/in 24hrs and resolved the dispute in 48hrs. They've always been helpful and I always will keep them as My bank. I only wish I could open a business account w/ them!

I just had to close my account due to having no access to my account. I had an available funds of over $100.00 in my account and checks that I wrote were sent back. One was for my light bill and now I have returned fees on these checks as well as my lights getting cut off and now I have to pay a reconnect fee. I am very upset with this bank's service and I am irate about the unexpected fees I now have to pay due to this matter. How do you advise I respond to this issue? I don't know how this company stays in business when you can't get a human being on the phone, much less one that speaks English, to take your payment. I was on the phone with them over 2 hours this morning trying to make a truck payment and when I finally did get someone to talk to I couldn't understand them and they couldn't understand me. I finally got so frustrated I asked whoever I speaking to for the corporate number and she had the nerve to ask me why I needed it. When I told her it was none of her business she hung up on me. I had already called them at least 10 times and had to go through 20 prompts to get to a human being only to be hung up on. I can assure you that when I have any kind of business dealings in the future if Ally Financial is going to be any part of it the deal is off.

I have tried and tried to get a routing number so I can pay my auto loan through army allotment and since MAC is going out of buissness I continue to get the run around which is really sad considering me being a soilder who gave up a lot for his contry, but I guess your company has no care for us in uniform!!

What's unsettling about Ally's management is their indifference to customer problems. Their ho-hum attitude is manifest in their responses, which are brief, desultory and almost always off the mark. How can they be so complacent yet perform so poorly?

The worst company to do business with!!!! Its like there is no one with common sense! I requested to send title by fed. express overnight. Every time, when I was calling, they couldn't figure out how the package was sent out, one said by federal express, another one by regular mail. The customer relations rep had no clue what I was talking about! They couldn't send out the title in proper way. They made the mess. Never seen a lending instiitution operate like this. Absolutely ridiculous!

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!!!! Total incompetence from customer service all the way up the food chain; supervisors cover bungling customer service personnel. They cause issue and then turn problem on customer to correct at customer expense and absolute aggravation. I have to pre-medicate myself before calling them. Dealership told me to go to Ally to change due date after new purchase; two months later, they continue to send incorrect information and now everything is wrong and I'm responsible for paying more money than before and facing delinquency. You can't even call anyone else because all calls redirect back to these same idiots. Ally should be forced out of business to stop preying on the public with their destructive ineptness.

The worse company ever. Come to find out my last two payments when to pay there Finance charges and not even to my car. then they call me and say I need to make another payment for my car or there going to take it from us! I am reporting this company to the BBB. take $400 a month for them to not even apply it to the vehicle how is anyone going to be able to get anywhere this way? fed up.

Will NEVER do business we these people again! We are simply trying to pay off our loan to get the title cleared so we can sell our vehicle. We are shipping overseas on military orders and needed to do this within a certain timeframe. We called and they told us a time frame that wouldn't work for getting this done. After speaking with the DMV to get some answers about processing, we called back and the next person gave us three options to make it go through immediately. I clarified one in particular and she did confirm it. After making the payment and calling to verify it, I am now being told that instead of 24-48 hours, it will be 10 days just to clear the payment and 2-3 business days to process the paperwork...then we get to wait for the lien release/cleared title. One woman said they electronically send the lien release to the DMV, which is what the site says they do, the other two I spoke with said they mail it out to us in 3-5 business days. All together, we either get it in a few days or a month....huge difference. We have 2 weeks to ship out. How does that work exactly? Now they are saying they can't stop the payment and I have to put a stop payment through my own bank (yep, costing ME money). I called my bank, they haven't received anything so can't stop it. Not only this, but Ally told me they will put it through at least twice if it doesn't clear the first time! AND we now apparently get to go to western union and pay to send that as well. Frustration doesn't begin to describe what I feel. I feel ripped off, cheated, and like they don't give a crap. All I get are robot answers over and over again. The only light in this rainbow so far has been talking to Melissa Brown in Witchita. She had all the answers, knew what she was talking about, and handled things easily and fast. Unfortunately, it seems we are still waiting to hear if what she is trying will work now.

I find out while trying to buy a house that Nuvell has reported that I've been 30 days delinquent on my last 26 payments to the credit bureau! That's over 2 years and completely inaccurate! Now I've dealt with over a month of foreign accents and incompetent employees who continue to tell me it's "being investigated" and I'll hear from someone on their "decision"! Wait? WHAT? Your "decision" about what?! I have NOT been 30 days late on my payments for the last 2 years and all you have to do is look to see that! Now DO YOUR JOB and fix your mistake so I can buy my house and never use your services again!!

Overly frustrated with Ally, I called to request a payment extension for May 2013 which they can do. I set everything up with one of the customer service reps. The idiot never sent me the paperwork that I needed and didn't know i needed. So after finally getting something sent, I get 3 different arrangments in the mail. I fax them all over at the same time. Next thing I know collections is calling me. I tell them that the person I spoke to yesterday, verified all my extensions were received and processed, even gave me the information from the extension back to me and she completley ignored me!! I'm highly pissed at these people and wish I could get rid of them all!

I have lost track of all the people I've talked with since I've paid my car off in the first part of April 2013. Quite a few of them I couldn't really understand because of their accents. NOT TO MENTION they didn't get what I was saying to them and instead of a short conversation most of the time they were almost 45 minutes to an hour. Very frustrating!! The last guy I spoke with it took me 20 minutes for him to understand I was talking (after mentioning it 4-5 times during the conversation)about SC DMV and not FL. He sent me something in the mail (altho' he said it was a copy of the electronic title he would send) that was signed by a Latressa Dailey (no title under her name) and also notarized. I thought that was very strange and unprofessional. Again I am frustrated by this man that obviously couldn't understand me! But I couldn't understand why he had some "chick" send me a letter that was "notarized" and with NO TITLE for her position with the company. How do I know that she didn't sit in a cubicle next to him????? I have used Ally since my first loan in the early 80's but now will look for another company. I AM VERY VERY UNHAPPY AND REFUSE TO GO THROUGH THIS TYPE OF NIGHTMARE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

I called and asked to see if there was any way they could work with me to help me get help to either skip a month and put it at the end of my loan and/or if their was any payment plans they could offer me because I am only living off of Ss because my husband passed away and I needed surgery but have no insurance. They said they could put feb payment at the end of my loan and also I could break up march pymt in two months( half in march and the other half in april) then pay normal payments starting may. Well that also leaves a month behind which he said I could extend that to end of loan as well because its a medical reason. I did this ahead of time so I could also get caught up on some other bills from my ex couldn't handle my pain and chronic pain I'm suffering with and he left me without paying any of his share of bills. I wanted to get all my finances in order, caught up and was so thankful ally found a solution for me. However, that was not the case. The same day I received a bill in the mail saying I was late on my march bill and now telling me I owe march bill. I have talked to atleast 15 diff customer care specialists whom most don't speak English well enuf to communicate to them that I need their service. I finally got someone who helped me said he fixed it and I'm all ok. Well bill collections called that night and every day and all were rude and couldn't communicate. Instead if helping they just kept saying" this is what the computer telling me, u are past due for march payment". Over and over. I kept begging for them to help me cuz I don't know what to do... This happened again and I asked why it went to collections. After rude ppl hanging up on me I kept calling back til I found someone who cared and said its out of collections now and he sees what was set up and he would fix it for me. So I went to make my pymt last night and was told that I was to have made 2 pymts in march . I said that's not even making sense. I only get Ss once a month so splitting it up in one month would have been pointless since I only get paid once a month PLUS IT WAS NOT THE PYMT ARRANGEMENT WE SET UP AND IT WAS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.'s solution idea for me. Now I'm told that it there must have been miscommunication cuz those kind of extensions are not allowed. Well the man who I originally spoke with never even used the word extension so I was lost!! Then if your employees cannot understand how to do their job bc they are over sea employees then it is not my responsibility to fix their error and magically come up with the money to change our arrangement!! And if u are paying over sea ppl to do this work u are making millions by not having to pay them much that u can easily just stick to the arrangement I was told and work with me, and ethically u should since it was an error on your end. I am not trained to know how u do pymt arrangements so that is why I called to get help so I could get all caught up and my finances in order. Now I'm told my only options are to stay 30 days behind until July when I will qualify for another extension and then can extend that payment or magically pay the month they say I'm behind bc their employee gave me an arrangement that is not an option in the way they do business. It was your mistake so u should work with me bc this is going to affect my credit which I was trying to get all my finances in order before I had surgery. I just had surgery and spent an hour dealing with rude representatives last night and then another rude lady who called me today and would not help me at all ! I used to be a manager and this is so unethical to treat your customers and to run a business!! Please help me or I will find legal assistance and go to court!

I just verified I made a paument and they informed me that they never received it, I verified with western union and they verified they did receive it and I had to do a refund and fight Ally to get my money back to make the payment again??? I do not understand this company and the worst part I don't think anyone there does either.

Alley and Nuvell financing has been running me around for the past three months over a 1000.00 payment I sent through western union to keep my vehicle from being repossessed. They released the vehicle to me after the payment and then three weeks later they contact me and state that the sent the money back to western union and I still owed the 1000.00 dollars. This is a sever problem that no one at alley will even address or acknowledge. I have tried to reach home office but they do not have numbers at any dept, collection, customer service, etc. to distribute to customers. (It takes me back to my professor in college, to create confusion is a great opportunity to make a lot of money). I do not know what to do with this type of company, we feel like we are doing business with the local pawn shop. PLEASE BEAWARE OF ALLY AND NUVELL FINACING! I will never do business with them again and with our buying power as consumers we have the capabilities to stop companies like this from taking advantage of future customers.

We called your auto loan office and requested the pay off on my wife's car and were told an amount and then we were told we have to use western union to make the transaction we then call and made the transaction which cost over $17. Then we were told that it didn't get posted in time and to pay another $17 +to payoff. it seems to me when one of your officials tell you a payoff amount then thats what it should be. if there is no response from your office I plan on Contacting the local news station to see they will show how your company does business to make money

I hate ally auto finace, the people they have working there cant even speak english and they don't understand crap! I;m having the same problem with them about getting an extension on my account for december and thought i was approved now they are calling me for decembers payment of 340.00 plus freaking late charges. I'm trying to find a coporate office phone number so i can hopefully speak to someone that uses english i can understand! ally sucks!!!!!!!!

I just had a lesson learned with Ally Bank.... My Mom is 90 years old and cannot see very well at all or cannot always understand what someone says to her & cannot hear well. I am her daughter, live with her and do just about everything for her. I called & spend up to 2 hours on the phone (first 35 minutes just to get thru on two different times)with my Mom on the line upstairs trying to question information about her account. I was online with all of her information details as I said I handle her accounts. I was trying to get money out for my sister who is the beneficiary as she requested it and Mom said ok. She answered all of the questions right as I was on the line yet the girl stated one or more of the answers were wrong & she could let us even ask questions. I would have to wait at home for someone to call back in 1-2 business days and (I guess sit at home waiting) just to access information on Mom's account. NO one could even request information again even the supervisor was useless as he only kept repeating the same information the clerk gave. Why oh Why does Ally need supervisors if they give them NO power??? Waste of money. When we do finally get into this account I guarantee ALL of Mom's money will be withdrawn from this bank. I realize they are protecting Mom's account but is MOM who is talking with them. Now we are locked out of the account until someone decides to call and determine it is safe. WOW I just wasted 2 hours on the phone and waiting on line for nothing and Mom cannot even get access to her own money. Give me a break. Give the clerks and supervisors some authority so they are just giving the rote responses they are taught.

I applied for a re-fi on our mortgage in August. I had to call them each time I had not heard in a while. The last time I heard was in August and this is October I called today and my processor said that it fell through the cracks and yes it was ready to be signed and closing should be next week. What kind of bank is this? What kind of people work here?

I've been off work since october12, 2011. I was driving Chicago transit bus when three adolescents thought. It would be hilarious to throw a boulder. Through my drivers side windshield. Which caused me to have two disk replaced in my neck with a titanium plate. I'm receiving workmans compensation, which is late all the time. I was told by national auto finance if I made my full may payment by June 20, 2012. I could receive a 2 month extension which would cover. The month of June and July. I only owed $94.15, I Received a call since the 20th of June telling me. I owe June payment. To my knowledge I was told my payment wasn't due untIl October. I spoke to Audrina today at 3:06p.m, I spoke to a supervisor/ June at 3:28p.m,I spoke to Suzy/ 4:04p.m. Those three individuals was so rude and disrespectful, I spoke with mikaee today at 4:35p.m. Mikaee was the only individual today the spoke very intellengently. She explained to me that I will receive a call from the company tomorrow. They will let me know if I can get approved for an extension for June and July. I'm confused because I was already approved for. The extension in june, do can someone please help me. P.S. Lula Nicholson 215-9128-85866.
