I bought a 2015 BMW 535i the car was beautiful! It's the grey with sparkle in it. Well over the past three years all the rubber around the whole car is peeling ,cracking,or just plain melting off looks absolutely awful! Then we have the paint all the paint on the plastics is fading the door handles, the rear bumper and now it's starting in the rooftop! I hand wash my car only myself with only good soap I use microfiber towels only I keep it waxed and this what I get poor quality paint and rubber seals. My car looks old due to this! I am broken hearted that I waited to get my dream car and have this happen to it after what this car cost! I've had paint quotes to fix it and let's just say shame on BMW to sale a car that cost 65.000 with poor quality paint and seals! My 2003 suburban paint and seals are still all new looking and it's jet black and cost way less in the beginning. BMW quality sucks I sadly to say I will never buy one again. Paint and seals should last longer than six years! I would love to hear back from someone about this but I'm sure I won't due to I'm one person one customer that is just a number. I've seen other 2015 going the same thing as mine? Leads me to believe it's a paint and seal defects that should have been recalled. I thank you for your time, Donna

DO NOT BRING YOUR BMW HERE!!!! Literally the worst customer service & maintenance service I've ever experienced. I've brought my vehicle here twice once in 2020 for a stutter start and just recently for a recall part that they notified me about in the mail. I explained to them very clearly on what I've figured out the issue to be and was ignored as they fixed whatever issue they thought was wrong, after they told me my car was fixed they assured and reassured i wouldn't have the issue anymore with it stutter starting and low and behold i stil have the issue after paying $1000!!!!!!! And as of just recently for the recall for the pvc heater now my headlight is out malfunctioning and they don't feel responsible AT ALL! I've gotten no help from the staff or the manager Chris who has the worst customer service I've honestly experienced

They have been racially profiling me since I bought the car on the first day of me buying a car they didn't even show me how to work the BMW I was struggling outside to shut the trunk and no one came out and asked me for help. Four months after having my truck my headlight was damn they told me I needed to buy a new $3000 headlight. When I picked up my BMW from the service center I drove one block down the road and the low tire pressure light came on I immediately called back to the service center to tell them. When I drove back to the store they told me there was a nail in my tire and told me I had to pay for it after I cussed everyone out and caused a scene Bobby told me the tire would be free. Bobby was so unprofessional he didn't offer me water he had me sitting outside for two hours he also told me I was kicked out of BMW store forever. After the police arrived he told me that I could not come inside and I had to stand outside like a monkey to wait for my tire to be fixed.

Casey BMW in Newport News, Virginia is the worst dealer for service!! In all my 51 years of driving I've never had a worse experience. Too long to go into, but not only is the service bad, but the service people could not be more rude and inconsiderate. To be specific, Francis and Chris Coup, the service manager.

I love my BMW but I am very disappointed in the service at Grayson BMW in Knoxville. Not only was the salesman extremely dishonest he was extremely rude to me when I went back his week. I bought the car in April and later discovered it did not have an owners manual. When they called Tyler to the front he was short with me and started well if it didn't have one they didn't have one and that I could go to the parts area. Well they said I could order one which would cost $55. Considering I paid almost $50,000 for the car you'd think they could order me a manual. Everyone was nice except Tyler. I've been in the retail business my entire life and I wouldn't allow someone so extremely dishonest and rude to work in my business

We arrived at the plains Pa location on Saturday 6/25 at 9:50 for a 10am appt. Once the service advisor (Kyle) checked us in he stated that they only had 1 tech and it be a little bit longer for our service . After waiting an hour we inquired about the car and Kyle stated once again about 1 tech . (Not our problem ) . We waited approx another hour and had to go inquire about our car . I said if its not being worked on (2 hours past the appt time) that i wanted it so we could leave . I questioned that if a tech didnt make it in then some appts should of been rescheduled . I asked how can 1 tech complete all of the days work if 2 techs were scheduled ? The advidor stated that it would be 2 to 3 hours longer . 5 HOUR wait for service ?? I asked for an immediate supervisor but NO one was on site . The service advisor Kyle got very defensive and showed NO concern for us the customer . He would not even apologize for our inconvenience . Also we witnessed him texting continuously on his phone .

I'm very disappointed with bmw if Peoria IL . I took my car in for radio problem and they tell me my amp was bad and it would be 2700 to fix my radio . So I get on line find a cheaper price on the amp call them to install it and they tell me I didn't buy it from them so they can't install it . I then call BMW of Bloomington IL and they said they would install it now this is owned by the same company long story short the only problem with my stereo was a crossed line so I spent 1100 dollars for a amp I didn't need I feel they be price gouging there costumers .

I filled out my customer survey after a recent visit to BMW.
Today I received a call from my service advisor wanting to know why I rated him as I did. Wow! Awkward! I assumed my survey would be confidential. It was not a bad report just rated him as average and he made it into a thing.
I will feel uncomfortable now going in. I will also reconsider filling out survey in future.

I have a 2006 650I that developed a coolant leak from the front timeing chain cove weap hole. I understand that this a common and expensive fix. My question is why with all the problems with this issue has there not been a recall. I heard BMW extended warrenties to 100K miles on some of these cars. Why not mine? I have spoke to several other owners and we have all decided that we will never own another BMW.

I am filing an complaint against the BMW of Germantown in 402 Germantown Parkway. I spoken to Jimmy Concklin(repair person) and his manager Brian Blalock. They were not trying to reconcile my issue. I have received poor customer service and I am still without my vehicle. At the beginning they did not order all of my parts for my vehicle. When I went to talk to someone about the issue. I was waiting for over 4 hours before I spoken to Jimmy or Brian and I am still waiting for my vehicle. This is my second vehicle that I have purchase from BMW and can't believe how I was treated and how terrible was the customer service.

Eurobahn Motorsports in Greensboro is not a certified BMW Repair Center nor does it have BMW Master Certified Technician's on staff like their website says. So don't take your car there for anything other than checking the air in your tires.

All of the BMW locations in Southern CA are lying and cheating, there are no deals that they fake advertise for holidays or any other day. They advertise that they do free appraisal if you want to sell or trade your car, but when you do, they check it and don't give you a written appraisal so you can compare to other areas. ALSO they say they don't do Co-signing that doesn't exist to them. They lie if something is wrong with the car and it's under warranty, they lie and say that you must pay, it's not under warranty.

I have been having transmission problems since May 2013, since I was unable to get the car in gear at all, after having reported transmission problems to the service department (Albany, Georgia) three times prior to this incident, and was told EVERYTHING IS FINE. The car had to be towed in. It was at the service department for almost a MONTH ($4678.89), no loaner provider. Within the same month another ($724.02)?? for WHAT ??. Since initially getting the car back from the service department, the light has come on three different occasions, indicating a problem with the transmission; yet, each time the car was suppose to have been fixed, it apparently WAS NOT, and the light still periodically comes on. It does no good to have it serviced, as the comment from the service department is always the same .... WE CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG, just keep driving it and let us know. The light coming on should be some kind of indication, that SOMETHING is wrong. I AM TRIED AND FLUSTRATED with the situation; and REGRET ever getting the car. I am afraid to drive it too far away from home ... MAY NOT MAKE IT BACK in the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE ... WHAT A JOKE !!!! never been so DISAPPOINTED in my 53 years of life.

Good afternoon,

I am a current BMW 2013 X1 owner for approximately 2 months. I was driving back from a memorial service and realized my car was loosing (decreasing) speed until it stopped. The service engine light came on along with other lights, I thought it was Christmas. As sacredly pulled off the road enough in time before it cut off....the car put out a very big puff of smoke and a very bad foul order came from the car. Luckily it did not catch on fire because it was raining. I had to be towed in to the BMW. The BMW dealer did not offer a loaner car until I mentioned it. I picked the loaner car up on Monday and was told my car would be ready on Tuesday. My car was ready...they half washed my car and I had the rudest unconcerned service manager (Mr Steve Ellis, BMW of Columbus Georgia) to speak with me....I politely excused myself from speaking with him because he demonstrated no concerns and was not people user friendly. Wednesday morning while driving to Fort Benning, Georgia to work, my service engine light came on again. My husband picked up the car and delivered it back to them to fix. They did provided me with a loaner. Again, I got a call from BMW indicating my car was fixed (no service engine light was on). Thursday morning (today, July 18, 2013), I was on my way to Fort Benning at 0600am and my service engine light popped on again. My husband came and picked the car up and is trying with all efforts to contact the service department. As of 0845am, no one is picking up on the phones. Literally, I am paying for a car that I am hesitant to drive because of my initial ordeal with the puff of smoke coming from the car. I believe this is a defect in the car and I would like to speak with someone in providing me with a new vehicle. I am not a happy camper.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am filing a complaint against Greenville BMW, in which has replaced my battery, alternator, DMTL fuel lines held the car for approximately 2 weeks in their shop; after the fourth break down on the highway from 4/28-5/27/13. I have had this vehicle towed more than I have driven it on the highway.

The DMTL fuel lines was replaced through BMW of Greenville, SC and spoken with the Service Manager Brent Beltz at that location in 7/5/13, upon driving to the doctor's office on 7/5/13. I heard a noise and finally after arrival at the BMW location in Columbia, SC. I was told that whatever repair shop that replaced the DMTL fuel line, removed the driver back tire, and in the process of replacing that tire, they didn't replace the lugs correctly. The tire, lugs, wheel and rim was damaged which BMW of Columbia called Greenville BMW and spoke with Brent about these repairs and we just picked up the vehicle on 7/1/2013 from the shop. We haven't driven the vehicle since the pickup until today.

We have an estimated cost of $2200 for repairs, and Brent Bletz of BMW explained to us; they were requesting an extended warranty protection as a courtesy due to the performance and/or repairs made to this vehicle since purchasing this vehicle since 11/2012.

We are asking that this courtesy of the extended warranty as were told would happen, and the repairs to be covered by BMW of Greenville, due to the shady repairs made on our vehicle which caused this wheel and the lugs to be broken off completely. The person we spoke with at Columbia BMW is Bob Green.

Hello I have a 2004 745li with 50k miles on it I had major blue smoke coming from the tail pipe when the car idled for over 10min opon taking it to the BMW dealer I was told perhaps the valve stem seals were going and the job would be between 65 and 75 hundred dollars I took the car to a BMW specialist for a second opion due to the fact that the car had such low miles upon further review it was declared that this is a common problem which is known and posted on the BMW service notification board where all new service updates and recalls are posted .The ansew was a quick fix which could be corrected by replacing several hoses which dealt with intake cold crank valves and air flow and the total cost to correct this issue was no more than $1000 dollars.my question was when I went to BMW 2 dealers as a matter a fact how come they didn't catch this? Infact they just tries too sell me another car.the moral of the story is I love the car and had it fixed for $1000 blue smoke issue gone all I could think was how could such an expensive car have such a minor problem which BMW knows about and won't even do a recall on and allow all these cars to be driving around smoking in traffic I was rather embarrassed to have people staring at my ultimate driving machine blue smoking away at the trafic lights.I own a Ford F 150 and a Lexus as well both with way more miles and less expensive and still don't smoke don't get me wrong the BMW is still the best car I ever had I'm just a little disappointed that they never stood behind this issue .so if your BMW is smoking the blues don't panic and go for the valve stem job look into it 9 times out of 10 it's a minor issue.and if you need some suggestions just hit me at [email protected] to the best of my knowledge I'll help steer you in the right direction if I can.I'm just an average guy try to help those dealing with this blue smoke. nightmare .

Let me first say that I LOVE my BMW vehicles. I put mine through the paces and they do not disappoint. Are there things I would change? Definitely. But it won't stopping me from being a BMW fan.

My main reason for writing today is regarding the roundel on the hatch of my 2006 X3. The roundel itself didn't fall off.... the color portion of the emblem did! I can see the outline of the letters/logo on the surface of the roundel - with a small part of the black color in the corner. Otherwise, it's a milky opaque white/clear look. How does that even happen... it literally fell off! Okay, I can buy another roundel on ebay but then the inside of the trunk has to be taken apart to install it!

I am so disappointed. This shouldn't happen to a BMW! My car wasn't hit from behind and no one has tampered with the roundel..... I expect more from BMW! Now I feel like I am driving a ghetto beamer! It would cost me quite a bit to take my X3 to a garage/dealer to have the roundel replaced... and all because the emblem fell off and it now looks sooooooo tacky!!!! HELP!!! I am still dealing with service and other issues to pay since it's no longer under (even the extended) warranty. My overflow valves are clogged and now water is leaking inside the car and soaking the back left passenger foot area EVERYTIME it even rains a little - YUCK! This shouldn't happen! The dealer charges at least $75 to unclog these things. I have dogs - I put them in the car - that's why I got this vehicle! To fit the dogs!!! I have never heard of another vehicle where this happens!!!! I am afraid to take it to the car wash for fear it will happen again! My washer fluid reservoir has sprung a leak - need to find that, cuz now I have to carry a bottle of water in the car and splash it on the windshield when stopped at a light just to clean it! Someone hit (and ran) the front left fender and left such a dent, it displaced the headlight! So I have to get that fixed too! So, paying to have the roundel replaced is low on my priority list but, I am almost embarrassed at the low quality that everyone will see when they look at the roundel.

I am an owner of a 2007 BMW Roadster ZM. I live in Sarasota, FL and bought my car there. I have taken it to all of it's services and have bought an extended warranty that they said does not cover this which I pay $175 a month.. Took it in because ABS System light was on, brake light on and a lot more lights. The car is also showing a small jerking motion between changing gears. I have been argueing about the price of the problem. They have been changing their amount and then I remember that I had received a card saying "Up to $1000 Discount Card". Now they have taken some more off. My real concern is that I do not think that the ABS System should be going wrong in a car that only has 27,000 miles on it. I need some answers. Can you help me? Sincerely, Charing

I would like to leave a comment about how i feel when i go get my bmw 2009 328xi serviced and bought at richmond bmw of midlothian v.a. They make me feel as thou they are doing me a favor everytime i go to get my car serviced, when i bought the car new from them they told me i really should consider the extended maintenance plan because soon as i go over 50,000 miles im gonna need brakes and they cost 1400 to replaced.
so i bought into this and at 96,000 + miles they said they are practicly like new even thou they squeek in the rain and have a little wobble when i brake a little hard, the service guy there states there is a lip on the rotors but they are not bad enough to replace lol i bought this extended plan and got 2 inspections 3 oil changes and some wiper blades i will now replace the brakes my self since all bmw wants is to save money not customer satisfaction. since 2009 i have refered 3 co-workers to bmw but not anymore im pissed off and feel abandoned by bmw.I know i wont hear back from bmw, but i feel this needed to be said.

We are having problems with our 2012 K1600 GTL. It has been returned to the dealer seven times for the same problem and he has failed to get it fixed. The dealer is Nick's BMW, DePere, WI. He got upset with us for contacting customer service and has lied to them about the repairs he has done. He has done repairs and replaced parts and done service without our authorization. He replaced breaks at 5,956 miles and will not give us the old brake pads. Told me I wore out the breaks because I used the back brake. Told me not to use the back break to only use the front break and the computer will apply the back brake as needed. As far as an oil leak Jim Eng said it was a seal on the oil filter and doing the 6000 mile service fixed that. I have contacted Costomer Ralations and they told me they contacted Nick's BMW and were told there was no problem with the motorcycle and they were unwilling to let me talk with a factory rep. I asked Nick's to let me talk with a factory rep and was told he wouldn't contact one for me. Where can I go, what can I do to get this problem resolved?

To wom it may concern!
I have decided to write after countless visits to the Service Dept. of Fields BMW dealer in Orlando, Fl regarding many defects with my new 528i, I have purchased in February, 2011. One of the main defect I am complaining about is the defective leather (venetian beige) of the driver seat. This problem with the leather surfaced about one month after I purchased the vehicle and despite the patch up work done at the Fields BMW the defective leather remain. Actually, not only the patch work did not work on the defective leather, I believe it is also unethical and most likely illegal, since it is a new vehicle and any defective parts should replaced with a new one.
There was so many defects with this vehicle, after I took delivery that I am sure that you do not want to be called The Ultimate Defective Machine, do you?
Could you please have someone from the Corporate Office call the Fields BMW and have them replace the driver seat on my vehicle once and for all.
Your help with this urgent matter is appreciated!
Sincerely,
Frank Mares
