i have been a cox customer for many years. this past week has been the absolutely worst week of being a cox customer. I have had 4 different apts missed scheduled or the technician just didn't show up. four different times I've had to arrange my schedule or leave work because of cox incompetency. speaking to supervisors have been a waste of time or part of the problem. someone is supposed to show up Saturday, we'll see. after being a cox customer for many years, I can't imagine many more months

November 10, 2015 I physically took my router into the W. Sahara, Las Vegas location, turned it in, cancelled my service and paid a final bill of $64.07. I now receive a bill for $29.89. After speaking to a representative on the phone he said no such payment was showing on my account. I explained that I have the cc receipt in my hands to prove that it was paid. He said he couldn't help me, I would have to go into the Cox store and talk to them. I explained that I am traveling and unable to do that. He still WOULDN'T help me or make an adjustment! I have insisted a manager call me and resolve this issue immediately. THIS IS NO WAY TO DO BUSINESS! The store has COX on the door and they should resolve the issue. I am contacting the better business bureau, consumer affairs and the Nevada Attorney General and reporting their dishonest business practice.

A friend of mine was moving to a new apartment. Called Cox a week in advance to set up transfer for tv and phone. Gave cell number so installer could call ahead to make sure someone would be there. They were supposed to show up between 1000-1200. At 1230 I called, they said they would be there before 3:00 or get $20 credit. At 5:00 I called after waiting 1 hour and 15 min on hold. They said they were sorry but the tech showed up and no one was home. The tech never called. If he did show up he didn't leave a card or phone number. They said my friend was rescheduled for 9-11. This person has had 3 back surgeries and is on disability. I had to go buy a converter box and antenna just so he could have tv. At one point I talked to 3 different people. I was talking to a supervisor and he transferred me to dispatch. She started laughing saying she had no idea why they transferred me to her. She said probably because the supervisor had no idea what to do with me. In the long run, on the phone from 12:30 until 9:00 that night. Saw a Cox truck in the parking lot, asked if he was looking for my friends address. He wasn't. He didn't have time to do my friends cable. I explained the situation that the tech rescheduled for 9-11. His only response was good luck getting it then. It's a shame this is how such a huge company like Cox will treat their customers. Especially ones on disability.

I returned equipment to Cox last July and was charged 63.60 for the equipment. It is now Jan 2014 and I am unable to get a refund. I have spoken to numerours Cox representatives that say it will be researched and they will call me back. No one ever returns a call and most of them do not place any notes in the system. Today I was told they still can not help me because sometimes it takes longer than a month to research. Really- it is obvious that Cox trains their employees to give everyone the run around and overcharge all of their customers.

I just posted this on cox facebook page. Enough time has passed for cox to resolve this. Now my only recourse is to spread the word and contact the BBB

Signed my 84 year old mother up for cox complete bundle as she did not like Dish. What a disaster that was. First I must say the transaction went smoothly then the trouble started. The price I was quoted could not be honored and I had to haggle with a cox manager to agree upon a price, then I was also promised a Amazon gift card for $100. All this happened in May this year. I have called Cox many times and even spoke with a supervisor and told him that every time I call I am told they will research it and call me back but they never do. He told me he would definitely call me back within three days. He did not. I called him again and was told he was on vacation. I left another message for him to call me back with a rep named Ryan. Ryan told me they were researching it. That was a month ago and still no return call from the manager or anyone. What a way to do business. If I could talk my mom into cancelling Cox I would but she resists change at her age. I have many friends and family in Arizona and I tell all of them about what is happening with Cox and discourage them from signing up with cox.
