purchased a electric lawn mower Sept 6 2023, fail to start, took to A&Z repair service, 7 Sept 2023 for service. case #09229854 & 09253585.my last conversation inquiry was18 jan2024, Mr Cooper level 3 associate customer service skills needs help. I told him my patience was gone and all I wanted is to have mower repaired or replaced. he stated he buy the mower back but replacing it was simply out of the question. I think I have been more than patient. what do I have to do to get my lawn mower working, an return to me.

I have one of your lawn tractor. It is close to 6-88 years old. .I has a Kawasaki engine 20. Hp ?. It is by far the best damn lawn tractors that I ever owned. It has over 1000 hours and it still runs great. I am about ready to buy another one, but I can't find one with a Kawasaki engine. Thanks for building a great lawn tractor

My Cub Cadet is being serviced the third time this season at $400 each. Do you have a mower that lasts longer than three years without service every three months of use?

I am on hold now over 2 1/2 hours with no answer. And wanted answers about my mower and a local dealer. I have an issue with someone breaking my equipment and trying to charge me for it.

I'm currently on the phone for 30 minutes and I expect my call to your missing parts dept to last over an hour again. My order by Mika was totally screwed up the 1st time I called weeks ago. I called the next day to get a confirmation # because I never recived the one promised. I can't believe what I was just told. After they shipped my parts to the wrong address and were disposed of by the post office. The parts are now back ordered for 5 -6 weeks!!!!!!!

KUDOS on your Zero-turn mower with steerable front wheels. I recently bought a ZTS1 and it is amazing! I have a very steep yard with hills both up and down and sideways. I love a Zero-turn for the maneuverability and the low center of gravity, but the flopping front wheels made it impossible to mow sideways or down a hill. Your ZTS1 does all that and more. Your claim of 30-degree slopes is very conservative, I easily mow mush steeper. I live in the north Geogia mountains; we don't have flat yards. After seeing my mower 2 of my neighbors have already bought there own. . If I could recommend anything for your next model it would be a spring or shock mounted seat, our yards are also bumpy. Again THANK YOU and Thank the designers who solved a huge problem.

As a business owner and manager.....I know poor customer service...and let me tell you .
..your employees in call center are very disrespectful and never honored my 3 year warranty.....on top of that hang up on me as a result nothing has been resolved .....I don't like to talk bad on your products because I own lots of you equipment and only this mower failed probably due to manufacturers defects. Contact me back to hear me out please .

I find it hard to believe that new 2021 models are the same price as new 2023 ones
Every dealership including the big box stores had employees that were rude and had no product knowledge

CC delivered a carton with my new CC Hauler on Friday. The case appeared damaged, upon opening on Saturday, I am missing several parts, including the axle! And the corner of the side wall is cracked. I have called customer service 3 times today- no help. Spent 20 minutes waiting for a person and then was directed to call another number, did that and waited 35 minutes, no person ever came on the line. Now I am waiting again for over 37 minutes.

Come on Cub Cadet!

Just as an fyi, yesterday my LTX1050 burst into flames while cutting grass. It seems the roller on the front of the mower deck forced grass up under the engine and it ignited. There should be a national warning. From some blogs it appears as though I'm not the only person this has happened to. That roller is a hazard.

I bought the XT1-LT42E tractor mid-September 2022. From the beginning, there was a squeal in the front of the machine. I figured that it was possibly some parts just breaking in, but the noise got worse. The seller, Home Depot, did not have a replacement, so it was up to me to have the problem fixed if I wanted to keep the machine. The nearest repair shop would charge $75 to pick up and return the new machine.
The squeal increased to a screech. So this week, I decided to try fixing the problem myself. I bought a grease gun, loaded it, and lubricated the front end. It took a whole 14-ounce cartridge to lube the machine at the four grease fittings. It is apparent that the tractor had never been lubricated at the factory before delivery. This exposes some really slipshod quality control by Cub Cadet and casts a bad image for the vendor, Home Depot.
The lubrication worked, and the squeal is now gone. I wonder, however, how long it will be before I need to have the front wheel bearings replaced due to Cub Cadet's error.

Well I bought a 54" zero turn last year. Was ok except the seat is like sitting on a rock. Anyway I needed new blades at the end of May. I am still waiting!!! So in the mean time I'm paying $200.00 a pop to mow my 1/2 acre front yard!!! I think I am going to sell it if I ever get my new blades!!! Sorry I bought it, should have paid the little bit more for the john deer!!!

If you bought a ZTS1-50 and want to add armrests, be advised you should ask your dealer to install them. Kit comes with clips, 3 per side that must be installed into each side of the seat. To get these clips in, I did not see anyway to get them installed without taking the seat off and removing the seat upholstery first ! Why they dont install these clips at factory is beyond imagination ! I devised another method to attach armrests without the clips. Good Luck

On 10/4/21 I opened a ticket concerning the lack of an hour meter/service minder on an Ultima ZT1 42 with customer service. At that time I requested to speak with a manager and was told that someone would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Needless to say, I have not heard from the manager and the ticket has been closed. The case number was 07226224. After this interaction or the lack of an interaction I am starting to second guess my purchase. It would be nice to hear from someone that cares about their customers and their satisfaction with the product. So far Cub Cadet does not appear to be that company.

I just wanted to write to you to let you know how much my dad loves his cub cadet. He's had it for over 17 years it's been bandaged babied and kicked on and loved and cried over but he won't give it up he keeps making her work and a good job she does. We keep trying to tell him to get a new one but his heart is connected to this girl their BUDDIES. I can't begin to tell you how many belts plugs tires he has taken off put it back onAnd go riding across the yard. I just thought maybe you'd like to hear some good news somebody loves the cub cadet if he ever did get a new one I'm sure it would be a cup cadet but I don't think he's going to part with this one you might have to bury him with it ha ha Ha

I have been a loyal cub cadet customer for over 20 years purchasing tractor, lawn tractor, weed whip and in Sept 2019 I purchased a chlgr750 red. After 200 hours the muffler went I took it to the deal I purchased it from and they fixed it under warranty. At 300 hours it quit running . When I call the company I purchased it from they told me they had nothing to do with cub cadet anymore cause the brand was messed up. I called cub cadet customer support. At 800-800-7310 and asked about my warranty and where I could get it repaired. Travis told I had 3 year warranty on the unit (I gave him model # and serial #). He told me to take to farm and fleet near me for warranty repair and gave a #. 06924495. I got unit to farm and fleet; after week they and told me cub cadet told th
Em the warrant on the unit was a year and had expired. They also told me the engine was unrepairable there was no way the unit could be fixed
Needless to say I was very upset. I would never have taken the unit to farm if I had known the warranty was expired. Additionally being told the unit was unrepairable was very upsetting. I am still paying for the machine. I emailed the customer support center and never received a response. Travis told them he had told me my warranty was expire
F. I understand that, he didn't want to get in trouble
I am asking for one of two things: forgive the balance of my loan. Or give me a new Chile 750 for the amount I owe on my loan

Please respond,

When I am having an issue with the manufacturing design of their products, I want to be contacted by Cub Cadet....Not Bizaarproducts.com. I am referring to the tow-behind trailer #19B40026100. While you have your name on it, it is NOT even listed on your website.
What gives?

We bought a cub cadet riding lawnmower at least 12 years ago. We have put it through the test. We have run over rocks train Williams everything you could imagine and had to repair very very little. We have certainly gotten our moneys worth. The only improvement I would make on that old tractor is to have the seat be able to go back further

I bought model SC-500 HW on 6/29/2019 only two years ago. Every mowing season, it goes into the repair shop at Clermont County Equipment 1100 OH-131, Milford, OH 45150 (513) 831-7592. This year it went in for repair on April 05, 2021, for a lousy carburetor. The repair shop told me the cost for repair be almost 300.00 dollars and will have to order the carburetor. Doesn't a Cub Cadet have a three-year warranty? It is now June 26, 2021, and Clermont County Equipment still has not repaired my lawnmower. According to them, they still haven't received the new carburetor. How can it take two months to receive a part? I want to know what Cub Cadet is going to do about this!

HI Cub Cadet. I bought Cub Cadet XT1 LT42, IntelliPower, from Home Depot, on the last Oct 1st, 2021, since it runs only two times for 1hr continuously, after that, it stops in the middle of the lawn after the max 10 to 15 min run and won't start till mower stay in rest for 3 to 4 day. Even after 3 to 4 days of rest, I face the same issue. Took it to Cub Cadet authorized dealer repair center in Logan, Ohio (Columbus repair dealer not except Cub Cadet for repair) to Allpower Equipment and explain to them after three weeks they call and said nothing wrong with it. I went there and test run and runs for 30 min without any issue. Feel like they use some special kind of chemical or Fluid to make it run for at least 30 min or so. I talk to the person name Daniel and he said it might be starting coil so leave it he will check again, after 5 days I call them and they said they found a loose connection in starting coil and they fixed it. (First, they said nothing wrong with it and runs for 30 min and then after repair the loose connection, since they delivered the original issue popped up again.) They charge me $186.28. ($120.00 pick/delivery+ service +tax.) They delivered the mower on May 19th2021, I started on Saturday, May 22nd and as usual, after 10 min it stops again in the middle on the lawn. This means the mower not repaired in the manner, which is supposed to be. I am facing this issue for the last 5 months and getting frustrated and embarrassing to push the mower from the lawn into the garage every time. Total running on the mower is 13.1hr. (It was 8hr at the purchased time.) I replaced Plug; replace regular gas with Premier gas, use starting fluid but no success.
My concern and question from Cub Cadet Company management are, is I invest my hardened earned money on a piece of metal, or I just dump my money in the trash. Home depo not accepting returns, because it was on sale and not arranging for the repair. In addition, does not make any sense to send for repair again and spent $200 to All Power in Logan or anywhere else in Ohio. I talk to Scott at Cub Cadet last time on April 19thand my case # 06650740. I do not know what I should do. I am requesting Cub Cadet Management; please resolve this issue as soon as possible, optionally returning this unit in exchange for another one or money back. Thanks.
6/9/2021 Since I rcvd back from AllPower Cub Cadet authorizes dealer repair center, won't run more than 10 min.

Maybe I should not post this rang but, I have finally reached the breaking point with my Cub Cadet 3x 30 snow blower. I just read through some of the comments from other Cub Cadet owners. Although no one has mentioned this model specifically, I think that the comments for what is here a surprise.

It appears that my $1700.00 3x 30 snow blower was designed and built by a moron! The one time in my life when I went with a recommendation from Consumer's Report (I think it was those morons) and I got a total POS!

I bought this disaster two years ago when I needed a good snow blower. My faithful 1988 Toro 824 needed a carburetor which had to be ordered. We had a big storm heading in so I just decided to bite the bullet and go for a new one since I could use the financing.

The storm hit and at first the thing threw snow a country mile! Great! Off to a good start. Or, so I though. After about 15 minutes, the reverse no longer worked. It kind of worked if I pulled to help it but, barely. This is not good!

The next day after things had settled down the reverse was working again. Hmmmm... The people from which I bought it came to deliver my old Toro with its new carb and opened the new up the new machine. They took off the cover and to my surprise I was staring at a blasted Da Vinci drive! What idiot would use that in a snow blower! REALLY?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The tech sprayed a bit of carb cleaner onto the drive disk. That seemed to help but, only for a short time. The dealer said that there was nothing more that they could do and that I should contact the company directly. That's what I expected. Well, I'm too damn busy to think about this when it is not snowing so I never got around to doing that. I may well do so this week because I've had enough!

What is the real problem? The real problem is that this thing was a victim of piss poor engineering and over all bad design work. Plain and simple! Unlike the engineer who came up with this mess, I'm no idiot. I've worked on cars, trucks, boats, planes and just about anything else that moves. I've also done mechanical design and engineering for astronomical equipment. As soon as I saw the drive I knew exactly what was wrong and that there was no way to ever make it work properly. (If you don't know what a Da Vinci drive is then go look it up.) The problem is that the vertical disk has a rubber edge which is supposed to help it grip the horizontal disk. The rubber used is garbage and slips when the thing gets wet! It's the wrong compound and the disk has been polished smooth. Of course it will slip when it gets wet! Any engineer who has ever worked on any machine in his life would know better! This should have been belt driven or had a transmission! This is a joke!

Another problem is the control lever for the elevation of the discharge chute. It freezes in place when the temperature goes below 32F/0C! Yeah! It freezes and cannot be moved! I finally traced the problem to moisture (AGAIN!) that is in the control cables! Whoever installed these cables never thought to put any lubricate inside the sheathing! Just how stupid are these people, anyway?! There is no excuse for this! Since there is NO LUBRICANT inside the cable sheath the assembly sucks up water via capillary action and that then freezes inside of the sheathing. The cables can no longer move to adjust the upper part of the discharge chute once that happens! The only way to fix it is to take it all apart, hang the cables up, drip a PTFE based lubricant into the upper end and wait until it drips out at the bottom. THEN the damn cables will never freeze up again. (We used to do this for control cables on motorcycles, bicycles, emergency brake cables, etc.)

So, here I am on my second year with this heap. It does OK when in a forward gear and for the most part it throws the snow very well. However, the lowest gear is way too fast and the higher gears would require an Olympic athlete to keep up with it! The lower "gear" needs to be even lower. It needs to work in a "creeper mode". I'm partially disabled and walking is tough. Needless to say that keeping up with it is not easy to say the least.

I've had enough of this heap. Even though I can rebuild it to work properly, I flat out refuse to do so. I spent a lot of money and the damn thing should work without my having to do the engineering all over again! I'm going to go back to my trusty old 1988 Toro and put this thing up for sale. Let some other sucker go through these headaches. I'm done with this thing and with this company. Unless, they want to come out here with their so called "engineer" and buy back this disaster from me! I really want to have words with that idiot!

There is no excuse for this. No excuse at all! IF I ever buy another new snow blower, it will not be from ANY of the MTD product lines. I'll spend the extra money for a Honda, instead!

Jeers to really awful customer service at Cub Cadet. Had a snow thrower just over a year old and it already needs a carbureter and they will not cover it...They said it was bad gas, but it's poor design.
Too bad...another brand bites the dust...avoid any new units if possible!

I have a cub cadet 2x 24 which is 1yr.old, and is under warranty. The gas tank seam is leaking. I explained that
I've recently become permanently disabled and have no way to move this big machine. I asked if they can mail me the gas tank, and I'd have my brother install it for me.
Cub Cadet refused to help at all.
The Customer service supervisor said they have a policy and they are not willing to help me.
I will never do business with them again. Also, they're product quality is terrible.

o Whom it May Concern:

I've recently been in the market for a snow blower, and after much research I decided on Cub Cadet. That said, I went about trying to purchase and support from one of our local dealers in the 17402 trading areas. Well, the entire process left me feeling wanting. First, the dealers had zero inventory and not one of them offered to order one for me, nor tell me where I can find your brand. Then to add to my frustration, I made the decision to buy from Home Depot so I could still get the Cub Cadet. Home Depot large purchases are always a disaster in my experience....in fact they have already missed their delivery window time and I can't get an update.

I sincerely hope that your product does not leave me feeling wanting like the businesses you have entrusted with your brand.

By the way, it's very difficult to find how to send type of message to your company. Makes me wonder if you're customer centric.

Stay away from cub cadet sxs. 120 miles and 10 hours the clutch on mine failed. I've owned it for 6 months. It's been in the shop for 3.5 months "waiting for back ordered parts" customer service is a joke. What a huge disappointment. It's like getting set up on a blind date, only to find out it's your sister.

Customer Support is a disgrace!! Susan was unfriendly and no help at all and hungup on me because she couldn't handle part request

Your utvs suck I tried getting ahold of you before no answer it was in before the warranty was up blew up a week later

Cub Zero turn 760 commercial mower over $12000 with under 20 hours has been in the shop over six weeks total since purchased in April 2020. No customer service and the dealer has informed me that the cub tech service will not authorize parts to correct cutting issue with mower under warranty. Mower is leaving streaks since 14 hours of use requiring the yard to be cut twice.

Posted by upsetlady

I would not recommend the Cub Cadet Side By Side to anyone. We bought one in October and the first time it was taken out after purchase it began having problems. We took it back and have not gotten the problem corrected as of yet, it has been over a month . Tried to speak to someone in customer service via the online chat and got absolutely nowhere.

I do not know who designed the GT2544, 44" mower attaching system. They must have gotten their degree from a Cracker Jack box I now know who hires the bottom of the graduating class of designers "Cub Cadet". The mower is easy to remove but it the hardest thing I have ever done to reinstall the mower. It takes forever to align the latching pins. Up & down, up & down, up & down, trying to get the pins and holes to align. I have had this tractor for 10 years and it is the same thing every time. I have tried all kinds of ways but it is always a chore. I am glad that no one is around when I do this because of the language I use and, if the designer were here God only knows what I would do. I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER buy another Cub Cadet product. John Deere is my next tractor.

Well, now that I have read over the comments, I could not agree more that this is a piece of garbage machine. I have been on hold for more hours than I care to tell. I have been on hold, waited 10 weeks and still no resolve. When I told the associate Violet, she said it was impossible to wait that long...and here I sit while listening to the wait music for the last two hours while writing this review. This machine is defective and so is this company! I will not purchase another one. The lawn mower is a CC30H 30 in Gas Engine riding mower. I owned it for two years and cut my residential lawn...nothing too difficult to handle. DO NOT PURCHASE CUB CADET PRODUCTS!!!

My cub cadet pro z 100 has been out of service for 45+ days awaiting warranty repair. 2nd product from cub cadet.
WILL NOT REPURCHASE. They won't answer phone, chat or email.

We bought a Cub Cadet SC 500 push mower at the end of May. It's been in the shop twice since then for flimsy plastic port pieces falling off. We've even had to pay someone to mow our lawn while waiting for repairs. The ports are just plain cheap. The dealer accused us of abusing the mower in a heartbeat. The second repair took over a week, with the dealer claiming that parts weren't sent. The repair looks like they used the old parts and fixed the issue, not new parts as told. Why should we buy Cub Cadet again, given cheap parts and a combative dealer?

Posted by KATHLEEN

I am very disappointed with cub cadet! My mower is less than a year old and blew a head and has been in the shop since June 3, 2020. I have to pay someone to mow my 2 acres and when you call customer service you get the most uncaring I don't give a crap person on the line. You pay 3000 for a mower and expect it to work for more than 20 mowings. I have tried to contact them and keep getting the run around and the service repair for warranty work shop calls we get no assistance. I don't recommend this brand to anyone.

Been trying to buy one for two weeks. No luck at all. No callback from the dealers. No nothing. I tried.

I Will Leave The Following Review On As Many Sites As I Can. I Just Used My Cub Rtz Sx For The Second Time Since Purchased New. It Took Me An Hour And Fifteen Minutes When My 16 Yr Old Gravely 52" Cut Took Less Than An Hour. If You Need To Back Up On The Cub, Reverse Dis-engages The Mower And You Have To Stop And Re-engage The Mower. There Isn't Any Seat Design To Make It Comfortable. If You Run Over A Walnut Or A Marble, You Will Feel It. I Purchased This Mower Because Our 51 Year Old Son Was Born With One Arm And Wanted To Mow The Grass - He Needed A Steering Wheel. He Is As Strong As An Ape But I Will Never - Ever Allow Him To Get On This Mower. He Had His Back Fused When He Was 10.

So Here Are The Criteria You Need To Pass To Buy This Mower Is As Follows:
If You Have Any Shoulder Surgeries Or Shoulder Issues - Do Not Buy
If You Have Any Cavities Or Fillings In Your Teeth- Do Not Buy
If You Can't Bench Press 20#'s Do Not Buy.
If Want To Use The Tilt Steering - Beware - At Times The Setting Will Change.
If You Think "cruise Control" Is A Benefit - Its Not, It Only Set For The Speed It Wants To Go And Couldn't Catch A Three Year Old Running
If You Mind The Steering Wheel Lock To Dis Engage While Attempting To Set The "cruise Control". Do Not Buy
If You Are Able To Keep The Forward Petal As Fast As It Will Go, Then You Must Have Strong Legs.
If You Have Thought Riding In An Atv/utv Over Rocky Terrain Was Smooth - Buy
If You Are Willing To Set Up High By Adding Cushions To The "seat" Buy
If You Want To Help In Steering With "suicide Knobs" You Will Need Three If You Have Two Arms And 5 If Only One Arm.
If You Have Trees On Your Property - Set Aside A Time To Just Mow Around Those As Your Arms And Shoulders Will Take Time To Heal.

But - It Cuts Good If You Are Willing To Put Up With The Rest. I Am 76 Years Old And After Over 1 Hour On This Mower, I Can Hardly Lift A Beverage, My Tailbone Is Protesting, Both Shoulders Ache And Actually Hurt, My Calves Want To Cramp.

This Purchase Without A Doubt Is The Worst Purchase I Have Ever Made. Ever - No Doubt

I posted a 4 star review on my 42" 3 stage snowblower. But I jixed myself.

I was cutting lawn yesterday and my baby a gt2100 cub cadet graden tractor blew a piston. Now I have a $1500 snow blower paper weighy but a good one. I was told that only tr2 tr3 will fit my snowblower but being a 25 year retired firefighter on a fixed income and pandemic I can't pick up extra cash flow I just can't afford a new tr2 or tr3 at this time.

But I want all to know I was very happy with my gt2100 garden tractor and 42" 3 stage snowblower and leaf pickup system great equipment just cant afford now but I would but cub cadet products if I could

Thank you

We bought a CX 750 side by side from West Virginia Outdoor Power 12-8-18.Had to take it back Nov 11,2019 because it stopped running.Timing chain had broke, had a camshaft assembly, and replaced left crankcase cover. We didn't get the side by side back until Feb 19,2020. Called WV Outdoor the next day to let them know it was missing. We thought maybe a bad tank of gas. Within 2 weeks it had no power. Took it back March 6,2020. They said the clutches came out of it. I have no clue what else is wrong. They still have the side by side as of July 13,2020. Altogether they have had it 7 months. I'm pretty angry at this point and really don't even want it anymore.

I purchased the first ZT1 42" to arrive in Elberta AL. I think it should have been painted lemon yellow. The dealership has tried everything to fix the cutting level. There could not be a better person to deal with. After at least 6 returns to the shop, 3 different style blades, a new deck, and several trips to "measure", the result is still an uneven cut. It is now cutting lower on the discharge side. At one point each blade was cutting at an angle. Now there is a problem with the battery. I had to purchase a new battery. After 3 cuts it was dead. I had it charged and have used it a few times but I have had to completely disconnect it between cuts. That seems to be working, but I wouldn't beat on it. What would it take for you to buy it back. It has about 35 hours on it

HORRIBLE customer service! Took my money, never sent order confirmation, online chat did not work, waited on hold for an hour with no results. As of now, they have nearly $100 of my money and I do not have the products I ordered. Don't do it, John Deere is much better!!!!

Dear Mr. Moll and the entire Cub Cadet staff. I own a Cub Cadet 3X snow blower. This unit has gave me nothing but headaches, frustration and has been a very bitter disappointment! I can't keep a shear pin in it long enough to remove snow from my driveway. It is light snow, powder at best. I gave up my Ariens for this.. What a fool I am. I am a 57 yr old, I am disabled and a veteran of the US Army. I believe in supporting American based companies. When I first saw the Cub Cadet 3X I thought wow, look at that machine, I bet it is a animal for removing snow. Boy, was I ever wrong! I wished that I would have done the research before the purchase. I stopped in at Tractor & Supply in Bastrop, TX. because they carry Cub Cadet riding lawnmowers. This was on Jan. 10. I purchased the only riding lawnmower they had left for $2018. I said I would pick it up on Saturday. The manager said to me that they would have it all ready to for me on Saturday. When my friend and I went to pick the mower up on Saturday, the mower had not been touched or checked over. The manager then had a employee go out to change the battery because the mower would not start. While we were out watching the employee getting ready to change the battery, another customer came up to him and needed some help. the employee left and went to help the customer so my friend and I changed the battery out and also checked all the fluid levels. Very disappointed in the quality of service regarding the lawnmower I bought. I hope the mower lasts because I did buy a extra 2 year warranty. My name is Mark Lemke.

I purchased my XT2 LX42EFI (SN 1B147H10188) on 6/18/2018. I love the mower so far, but I do have a complaint. I went to remove the blades to sharpen them, and they have been installed so tight that I could not remove the bolts even with a 2 ft. extension bar on the socket! The dealer told me that the blades were installed at the factory, so I am advising you. This required that I have the dealer pick up the mower and remove the blades and return it to me and I was charged $50 for this service. I have previously owned Snapper and Craftsman mowers and I never had a problem removing the blades with these mowers. The right thing for you to do would be to reimburse me $50 as this should not have happened. Secondly, you should instruct your assembly department to not use impact wrenches to put the blades on, and to use torque wrenches and torque the bolts as specified in your manual.
If you decide to reimburse me, my address is 1215 Lizzie Lane, Salisbury, NC 28147 If reimbursed, I will post this on here so others will know you treated your customer fairly. Thank You.

I have never posted a complaint but I have to say cub cadet service has figured out how to cost you a customer. Your service technician is an idiot and because I did not know precisely how much torque I put on the part decided to not cover it under warranty. I have repaired and been around machinery for over 60 years and have replaced many parts on this tractor including a previous PTO twice in order to change the drive belt.with no problem. The part lasted 1/2 hour not good for a $459.00 PTO. Up till now I have been happy with my cub cadet although I think their spindle assemblies need work. I can assure you I will not buy another cub cadet product and will not recommend one to anyone else due to not covering a bad part under warranty. Phil (if that is his real name)in customer service is definitely not a good representative for your company. I will take the part to an authorized dealer to have them say the part is defective but am really sure that I will never buy another product from cub cadet again.

I have never posted a complaint in my entire life. 75 years old and I am not a happy camper with club cadet. Customer service sucks. Bad warranty.

Defective assembly which cause parts to wear out. I improvised and fixed it myself. I will never buy a club cadet product again.

A friend of mine Bought a Zero Turn CC at the beginning of the summer and has been in the shop 4 times for repair on the same thing, she is an elder with no internet access so I'm taking the liberty to explain for her. She has been getting the run around from Home Depot and Cub Cadet when they take and fix it, it will shred brand new belts (4 of them) each time they "Fix it" and send it back and each time she is fighting on the phone to get it fixed and many weeks later each time she finally gets it back just to have it shred another belt on her, by the way at $40 a belt, she just got her Zero Turn back two days ago this last time and this weekend will be testing it out again but she does not have any more faith in the lawn mower.
One of many reasons why I decided to take the liberty to email you is I also just bought a CC Zero Turn in the beginning of this past summer, so far I have only had to replace one tire for whatever reason it exploded but after reading the reviews, I'm not sure I will be purchasing anything else from CC in the future, not so much from the issues that the machine has but the apathy the company has in honoring the warranties and the apathy the company has in a fast repair and replace for the machine, machines have failures I get that but stand behind your word and have some pride.

I purchased a cub cadet 700 commander on April 1, 2016 and experienced an emergency brake failure about a month ago. I went on line to find out if there was an adjustment that I could make to resolve the problem and saw that there is a recall on the e-brake which included the model of my machine. I made an appointment with my dealer and was informed by him that the serial number of my machine was not included in this recall and that the parts to fix it was about $250 not including the labor. I contacted your tech support and was told by a man that my dealer was correct and that he could sell me the parts. I then asked if there was any way my machine could be added to the recall list and he repeated that the dealer was correct and that if I had any father issue with this I was to contact your legal department. I asked for the phone number and he said we are done here and hung up on me. The next day I called again wishing that a more under standing person would answer the phone and go the same results. My case number that was given to the dealer is 041193805. There is 97.7 miles on my machine and I am a 68 year old man, retired from the US Air Force. I fixed C130 air craft for 22 1/2 years and the reason I got the machine is to plow the snow off my drive way and parking lot at my apartment parking lot. I assure you the the machine was not abused and is well maintained. I am just asking for help with what I feel is defective parts on my machine.

I have a CC Garden Tractor bought from Dickinson Equipment in Fredericksburg VA. For the first 18 months I owned this garbage, Dickinson had it, "repairing" a design issue that caused the hood to melt. I had 4, count them FOUR, hoods put on by Dickinson, at no less than a month each time to do, as the hoods were "on backorder". Gee, shudda been a clue. I asked for a lemon law decision. No help there. Dickinson finally build a metal box around the engine (gee, THAT won't cause any issues!) to keep the hood from melting. Now, guess what? The engine is COOKED!! I have put good money after bad to try to keep this thing going. Only 300 hours on it. Already major engine work, seals, etc.
GARBAGE!!!! WONT BUY ANYTHING SAYING CUB CADET EVER AGAIN!!! ANd Dickinson is on my Do NOT CALL list as well.
What has happened to customer service? Treating the customer right and standing behind your product?
Nope, take my money and laugh all the way to the bank, there's a sucker around every corner, isn't there?
BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I bought a cub cadet self propel SC 700E and its 3 weeks old and came with a broken blade lever it took cub a week and a half to get me one and now the rear wheel drive cable is broken or unattached. Cub said to call warranty repair I did and 5 of them said 4-7 weeks for repair what joke this mower is. Never and I do mean never will I recommend a cub mower to anyone. When in the 3 weeks I have had it, it mowed great but the mechanical build is junk with a nice Honda motor on it. I am totally disgusted. Now I am waiting on the phone with Cub to see if I can get a schematic to fix it myself. I should just return it to Homedepot where I purchased it.

My husband bought a cub cadet riding mower 5 years ago. We purchased the mower at Kerry's Lawn and Garden Center for approximately $2,000.00. We have a fairly small yard it takes my husband approximately 15 minutes to mow our yard it's only a quarter of an acre. The mower only has 17 hours on the motor. We have had to replace the tires on the mower already. Everyone that has seen these tires is amazed as they are completely bald - no treads!!!! We took the mower back into Kerry's that gave us some CRAZY story that my husbands cuts corners too sharp that is why the tires wore out that way. I'm very upset and don't plan to purchase a cub cadet again when it's time for a new mower.

Purchased a XT1 LT42" on 8/23/2017 from Kenton Equipment Co. in Independence, KY. I am ready to purchase a different brand. Not because of mower problems, not because of Kenton Equip. but for the simplest of reasons. Your Website sucks and I was left on hold calling the 877# for over ten minutes (still on hold when I hung up.) Could not use your CHAT service because after filling out the info I could not send. All this because I needed to know the size of the nuts that hold on the blades so I could purchase a wrench to fit. Finally called Kenton and a clerk had to go to the shop and asked a tech for it. Can't even imagine what would happen if I had a real problem!!!! Will contact your Corporate in Cleveland and give them a piece!

I will never buy a club cadet again, had a flat tire second time I use it,also it stall and want start and they talk to me like I didn't pay them, they got every penny from me.

Posted by never a customer again

buyer beware, I bought a 25 ton log splitter at home depot and used it twice before it broke down, home depot don't stand behind the product they sell and cub cadet don't stand behind the product they make. I am done with both of them. even after two days on the phone getting no were with either company I finely got it into a repair shop for a warranty repair and after 3 weeks I called the repair shop to see if it was fixed yet and they said they are having problems getting the parts from cub cadet. they sell junk and then don't even have the parts to fix it. I will never buy from home depot or cub cadet or anybody affiliated with them again, they sell junk.

I bought a Cub cadet LTX1042KW four years ago and I have replaced the transmission belt four times. This last time I did it myself and found that the belt is rubbing aginst the stiring wheel shaft but C.C. says there is nothing wrong. I will never buy a Cub Cadet again.

I just got one of the new 700 challenger. I had it for a week and the brake cable broke on it. I took it back to where I got it and they have had it for 2.5 weeks. Don't seem to be in on rush to fix it.

We purchased a Cub Cadet riding mower just a year ago trusting their reputation. In July of this year the engine self destructed. The piston shaft broke and made a hole in the engine housing causing the oil to leak out. The repair cost would be over a thousand dollars. We now find that the Kohler engines which formerly had a great reputation are now being made in China by LCT. They have a terrible reputation. Fool me once shame on me. Never a Cub Cadet in my future

? I'm extremely disappointed in the rtz50 and not so much the motor and frame... but the mower deck! My machine is parked in the shed, I do not mow wet lawn and when I wash it! I dry is with compressed air and towels.

RUST!!!! WHY???? the frame is perfectly fine but the mower deck is GONE! you would think I had it sitting in SALT WATER!!?? its so rusted through the blade supports gave way and the blades are hitting the deck! holes so big you can put your hand through them... I kid you not! Whats going on!??? its so obvious that the decks are made or stamped out with cheap metal! WHY... I want answers!

I already have over 3000.00 into this machine and a new deck is 500.00! I cant believe I'm have to replace this mower desk. The machine now sits in the shed until I can some up with the money to replace this rusted through deck.

IM embarrassed to show people the condition of this deck!... very sad!

Again... something is wrong here? I know people owning tractors for over a decade with no rust issues... WHY MY RZT 50????

My only comment is that if your wise you wont purchase a zero turn cub cadet. My experience has been a bitter one due to the fact that when you have problems with their mowers they give you the run around and lay the responsibility on everyone but themselves. We purchased the extended warranty and could not get any help from cub cadet at all. They want to put the responsibility off on everyone else rather than deal with the issues themselves. I am very unhappy with this mower especially after having the problems I have had with the mower and cant get any help from anyone through cub cadet at all. they want everyone else that works for them to deal with their responsibilities. How cowardly can you be????? So, my advice is that if you plan to purchase one of these mowers, make sure you have your butt backed by extended warranties and by all means if you have any problems with your mower off the bat, take it back and either get your money back or exchange that thing for a different brand mower other than cub cadet..... True enough their mowers LOOK good but they aren't worth a crap when it comes to the mechanics of them. Nothing but TROUBLE!!!!

Hello,

I purchased a lawnmomer tractor last year in May 2014 after using a John Deere tractor for 10 year. Two months ago less than a year, the transmission failed. a local repair dealer had the tractor for a month before he told me what the problem was. Two weeks later he contacted me and stated the company did not have the part availabe and it could be October before a part could be deliverd. If this is the case I do not need the tractor in October, I will be putting it away for the winter. I have had to purchase a walk behind lawnmomer to cut an acer lot. I need to know if I have an option of getting a replacement or re-inbusement of my purchase. I have not listed my challenges on any social media sites because I would like to provide Cub Cadet the opportunty to respond to me. I have responded to one email I received from a dealer rep stating there was no part/replacement available and that there is a back order on this and she could not give me a ETA as to when the repair could be completed. I sent her a reply but did not get a response. Please provide me with a response and my options.

Thank you

I been a royal cub cadet owner since the 70's and several of my siblings. And when i seen the new cub cadet riding lawn mowers ,I was very dissapointed on how ugly it looks and i don't know if I'll replace my 1979 cub cadet 1650 with a new cub cadet the way they look.I'm going to wait to see if you can do better on future models.

Three years ago I purchased a CC 760 ES for more than $2,000. It worked without incident for the first two years, while under warranty.

This past summer, we've used it on the same yard and in exactly the same manner -- and it has fallen apart. We have had to spend more than $600 on repeated repairs. It's been in the shop 5 times this summer. We just got it back and it has broken once more...so once again, we cannot use it. This is ridiculous...and a waste of money.

My 89 year old mother purchased a Cub Cadet a year ago July. So far this year she has had to purchase 3 deck belts at 75 dollars each. When my daughter called the company for her they said there was not a problem with her mower and they would talk to a supervisor and get back to her. I disagree, she had a John Deere that lasted her 10 plus years and did not have to replace her belt more than once. Checking further online reviews of this tractor I have found that there are many unsatisfied customers because of this same problem.(Belts shredding after mowing yard a few times) I guess my next step to help her is to contact the Attorney General to see if they will help. Maybe more unsatisfied customers should do the same.

I bought a cub cadet riding mower with my hard earned dollars. I have had nothing but grief with this product! I have less than 90 hours on it and have had to replace several major parts! I take excellent care of all my yard equipment. If I knew where to take and throw this thing I would! I will never buy another cub cadet!!

Word to the WISE! I hope you folks have made a RECALL on your seat brackets and with all the ones you have backordered I bet this has been happening a lot. I would also hope they are made of a stronger and ticker steel! Last evening my seat bracket snapped off I fell off the machine and am a little sore today. I have a plate in my neck from being in the military. I could have been seriously hurt! Im also going to make an appointment to have my neck xray'd to make sure nothing has shifted. Im not happy! Now since i have invested a lot of money in your product im stuck with it and I HOPE with the new bracket I ordered it isn't as cheap

My father's 10 month old Cub Cadet riding lawnmower started to have issues with starting 5 weeks ago. After contacting the local warranty holder - Swish Cleaning Services - we dropped the machine off for the necessary warranty repairs. The tractor has been at Swish now for 4 weeks without so much as a courtesy call to advise on complications or further duration in repairs... why would an office cleaning company hold the warranty repair contract for Cub Cadet? I don't believe them to be competent in the field of riding lawnmower repairs, considering the 4 weeks they have had the lawnmower and no fix. My father is 66 years of age, has a little over an acre to cut.
What kind of customer service is this?!

Posted by BigGuy

Yes, I have a cub cadet its old but, I would to say its a mean machine. I cut 7.5 acres up hills down hills. I had a guy cut my property with a zero turn do to my mower was down. The guy jobs was bad just to sat your company have excellent mowers.

I bought a brand new Club Cadet side x side from a Dist.in St. Paul Alberta Canada.I brought the Cadet f/ a oil change in Oct/2013 & got in back in May 2014.There was to be warranty on the gas pedal because it was always sticking & did do not operate properly,to our surprise it took seven months to get an oil change & warranty work done . Is this the way Club Cadet operates . This is a disgrace to the product & manufacture & distributor. PS NO WARRANTY PARTS WERE PUT ON WHAT A JOKE (it only had 52 hrs. on the side x side

Purchased a 33" wide cut walk behind mower from Cub Cadet. In less than five weeks, it had to be returned for the gear shift lever breaking off and the battery failing to hold a charge. OK...so problems happen. It's now been in the shop for three weeks (in May) and no clear response on if/when it will be repaired.

Before I lawyer-up on this, I was hoping to talk to someone at Cub Cadet but it's been very difficult finding anyone. I was told by their outsourced customer service person what number to call to get an 'authorized' repair provider. You would have thought that their distributor Tractor Supply would have done this but apparently they didn't.

My sense is that there's a lemon law in my state that can help with this. We've had to contract to have the lawn work done this mower was supposed to have delivered. Considering making an attempt to seek a refund and return the mower or take the company to small claims court. Anyone had any success with this?

I bought the new three stage walk behind snow thrower cub cadet 1/2/14. Had nothing but problems with it, Carburetor had dirt in it and would not start. Have a three year warranty and bought an extra extended warranty with it. Cub Cadet would not stand behind the problem and I had to pay for the repair. Tried to get Cub Cadet on the phone and get some info. from them. This turned out to be a useless venture. Customer service is a joke. Cub Cadet doesn't care about the customers who buy there products. Please do not buy anything from Cub Cadet or MTD who is located in Cleveland, Ohio. They manufacture junk and don't care about you as a consumer.

12/14/2013 Had 9 inches of snow. On 11/27/2013 Purchased a 221 snow blower fully assembled from your dealer, fueled and started. For the last two days, I have attempted to start this unit without success. I called your company tech who was useless. There must be a reason-bad blower, bad gas installed, or just a piece of crap. This unit gets returned for full refund tomorrow, 12/16/2013.

OUr unit has been in the shop a couple of times every year. We were made to pay for shipping on warranteed parts. (over $250) We waited for one parts for over 4 months. We also spoke to "Bill" He is VERY rude! I accused me of just wanting a new mower! The repair shop faught for us on our behalf and told us that our problem was a design flaw and they knew it! I think we should all get together in a class action law suit. People sue for rediculous things these days and I think it is wrong but this is one time it would be appropriate.

Bought a Cub Cadet a year ago April. I will never purchase another. I've had to replace the carburetor because it constantly leaked gas, replaced a main pulley under the deck which just came off in use due to the inner race bearings wearing out. When I cut around a tree in the yard, it leaves mud ring. I had to tighten every bolt on the outside of the engine to stop oil from leaking on the exhaust system and smoking. Right now I have 112 hours on the machine. I'm sorry I got rid of my John Deere. This Cub Cadet is junk.

I got a zero turn the hydrostat locks up and all the bearings are bad when I bought it they said it was new at the greenfield true value and they have very poor dealers I will never buy another cub cadet it has three hundred and twenty hours

Does anyone know of how to contact someone higher up then Bill? My mother just bought a cub cadet and has had problems with it from the beginning. Have talked with "Bill" a few times and he is so rude. I've never had customer service problems like this! They don't seem to want to help the customer at all.

Just Spoke With Management {bill} Boy Does Cub Cadet Need To Hire Someone Else Who Is Not So Condescending And Rude As A Owner Of Their Product You Would Think They Would Want Customer Satisfaction Instead I Got A Runaround And Spoke Down To Would Not Recommend Anyone To Perches Any Product From This Company..

we bought a cub cadet z-force 0-turn rider and have had nothing but problems all bearings in deck have been replaced several times now having to replace clutch this mower has less than 50 hours on it.this is extremely unacceptable. this unit has not made one single complete cut since it was bought.

I used the Cub Cadet Web site to purchase a mulching kit for my 42" mower. They sent me a kit that came with 2- 22" blades.

Now I am no engineer, but 22+22=44 not 42. Talked to a tech (Good Guy) and he found the correct part. Transferred back to Customer service and person on line said it was my fault and I would have to pay return shipping costs. Spoke to two "managers".

First one was very rude and insulting, inferring that I am a liar. she continued to antagonize me and when I became upset, she then hung up on me. After she hung up, I turned to my wife and said in complete frustration "what a *itch". This was not said to her and like I said- she had supposedly hung up on me.
The next "manager" (Bill) was extremely condescending and rude. Instead of trying to rectify the problem, he felt it was his job to talk down to me and lecture on phone etiquette. He also continued to claim that I broke the law and he had the prior conversation recorded. As I said, the prior rep hung up on me. If she pretended to end the conversation and stayed on the line she is very immature. "Bill" continued to be very unprofessional and said if I continued trying to explain my side of the conversation he would terminate the call.
I ended up hanging up on him. He is no asset to your company. The few dollars saved on shipping ended up costing you and your employees thousands in future revenues. I have a large family and many friends. I will vehemently discourage anyone from purchasing from you. I was very proud to purchase a cub cadet riding mower. Never again cub cadet. You should be ashamed of the people you have allowed to have public contact. I am also sending a copy of this letter to the Attorney General Office in both Ohio and Texas to inquire about who broke what laws.
Thank you.

Please People do not buy anything from this place 11 hours on a 50 inch cut 24 hp and the carb is leaking gas. Home Depo sold it to many with 3 year coverage I now know that the Carb is not covered Due to the gas that is being sold today so this is where I set I have a 2000 dollar paper weight in my yard YA for me and the rest of the USA with all this JUNK being sold here.

spoke with your customer service rep today June 4, 2013 @ 7:45 pm Sean. He is very rude and arogant and does not do Cub Cadet justice. When I asked him of a phone number or someone higher he said no there wasn't one that all calls @ corporate come to his department. Besides the new mower I have with 11 hours and being the PTO belt broke tonight I would think your staff would be more willing to help your customers remain customers of Cub Cadet but after this dealing with Sean I now feel that Cub Cadet does not stand behind their product and once you purchase there is no help available unless you pay for it even with a product with only 11 hours clocked on it. Sorry Cub Cadet I will turn to John Deer I hear they help their customers.
