I spend a lot of money in dollar tree daily. Olaides a new male worker is very rude towards me, he didn't want to give me my receipt today, he only been working in the mount Vernon office for a few months. His attitude stinks, and he never says nothing to you when you say good morning. I don't care about that as much as giving me my receipts , I had to take the receipt myself, after spending my money in the store located on 203 Gramatan ave. Mount Vernon New York 10550-1205, he needs to show or have some respect for me, I'm a valuable customer at dollar tree and I have spent money in this store, since they been open. I don't know what Olaides problem is but he need to be retrained or fired. I am a very mannerable customer, I'm pleasant and I'm always friendly to my store clerks. I pray your management office get into touch with the person in charge of that location and bring this to their attention. Thank you, God bless you, happy holidays.

Whitefish, Montana...Store is always closed, or closes at 5:00, or opens late... If you have an interview scheduled, say at like 8:00 am, no one shows up for hours, or not at all. This store is AWFUL... Needs a dependable manager, if they say they are going to be open, then they should be open, lots of customer lost...

Store: Wade Green Kennesaw. GA

The floors are extremely dirty. I asked the cashier if they had housekeeping, she replied "one a year". This is very sad and unsanitary. They need more inventory also.

I work for store #4220 however I know by federal law if you walk out of a job you are then deem by that company unrehireable, however the new manager at my store walked out of his old store in Smelterville,ID and I do not appreciate how my scheduling has been handled and if he can't talk to his employees properly and learn how our store work example he had told a customer we can't put a specific amount anf then have them run yhe card however we can and do, this needs to be fixed the proper way and hire a new manager who will actually talk yo his or her employees and meet with each of us to get to know his or her store and employees.

I have worked in retail like this gor over a yr at Walmart and should be getting paid more than 15.75 an hr because I have the experience, I treat my customers with respect and dignity as well.

I expect something to be done otherwise I'll be taking this to a high authority.

This Dollar tree. At this address.
496 US-84, Cairo, GA 39828

Has not had any mops sticks or brooms in months
The art section for painting is never stocked correctly and always a mess.
There is never any bleach
If you would do a walk through it's a mess simply walking in the door.
The next town over is Thomasville. That Dollar three is always very organized and neat and everything I need is there.
But I can't drive 30 mins every time I need something from your store.
It is very messy in This store.
Please CLEAN IT UP.
PLEASE STOCK IT WELL
MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STOCKED.
why can't I buy a mop you have all the mop heads there but no mop stick and this has been going on for months and months...
Please fix this thank you.
But the way every employee is super friendly and very nice..
This store needs help with products and more 2 ppl working there at all times.
Thank you.

My local dollar tree in Newport Ky is not handicapped friendly there should be some type of handicap cart, wheelchair, scooter for the elderly and disabled. Sadly I don't go there much anymore because I can't walk the store to shop due to my disability. Please consider having something for the disabled.

I was at Store #1226 on Monday, August 7th around 5pm and overheard a very disturbing conversation coming from the manager's office at the back of the store. The woman speaking showed no effort to speak quietly and it was easy to clearly hear what she said.

She was speaking to an employee about other employees of the store. She referred to one of them as "b*tchy", "a-hole" and used the F-word several times. Her comments about several employees were very disparaging and could be overheard by anyone within 30 feet of the office.

I was very troubled by this. What if one of those employees was my friend or family member? How dare she speak so unprofessionally?! This behavior is shameful. I hope something will be done so this manager uses greater discretion and respect!

I went to our local Dollar tree yesterday. They were busy one checker with a line. So I waited in line, then the women came out of the office space and said, next in line. So the women be hind me started over, employee said loudly next in line, the lady behind me flagged me over. I went , I had one purchase, &1.34, the whole time employee was angry, so I paid my $1.34 and said thank you have a nice day. She never looked at me never smiled and was rude. Ok what's the deal?
She has been like that in the past, always got a crank on! Not a good look for Dollar Tree, get another manager she's pretty lame! Most of the people there are great!

A customer was so upset they walked out of the Dollar store on Berryessa/Capitol swearing & without paying! Took my mother to the Berryessa/Capitol Dollar store around 1pm. There was a long, very slow-moving line. And only one cash register was open. After waiting in line for a long time. My mother went to the office area & asked the (presumably) manager sitting there if another cashier was available to open a 2nd line. The manager said they were on lunch. After a while two more customers (one after the other) went to the office area & asked if a 2nd cashier would open another register. Suddenly, an employee said over the intercom "3 of us employees are on our lunch hour. And the cashier is new so please be patient with him." Next thing, another customer went to the office door which the manager had closed. Yelled towards the employee office door:" You b.i.t.c.h (not sure if Nextdoor will allow me to post exactly everything that he said). Kicked his leg in the direction of the office door where the 3 employees were sitting around inside. And then that customer got back in line, suddenly walked away & out of the store with two full baskets of stuff without paying.

I am posting my concerns about your store in Forest Hill Texas. It is dirty and the employees were sitting around. The store is empty there were no paper goods out, no cleaning supplies stocked.. I was shocked because management was not concerned about the store. It is a very convenient store but has gone down. Please help us as the economy is at an all time high. Thank you for listening.

Worked for over 3 years..never got meal break or breaks. Was required to punch out but as ASM was not allowed to leave premises and was required to work through my breaks. Manager edit time sheet in order to make payroll plan. Was told to use pto to get paid for hours I worked. Never allowed to building always did not have extra staff. Worked mostly nights. Had to Stat so other associates was alone. Punched out so there was no overtime. Managers kept editing my time sheet in payroll. Had to work all holidays. Had my annual incentive removed so for the months starting in September and taken away in January. Many associates lost their incentives. One assoviate has been there 10 years and still makes the same as new employees

Was just at the Dollar Tree at 1230 Beaver Brook Plaza, New Castle, Delaware; 19720. Store #3730
A woman named Romelia helped me find what I was looking for and also checked me out. She was very helpful and polite! How nice it was to see an employee who was actually pleasant and nice! I visited this store on June 17, 2023 and will be going back.

I was at the dollar tree on lacy rd whiting nj. I was buying 3 balloons and a balloon holder and a balloon on a stick. The cashier, as I was trying to tie them onto the holder, she started pulling them out of my hand to ring them up. I had to tell to wait a minute so they didn't fly to the ceiling. As she rung me up I was trying to tie a knot so they didn't blow away when she got very rude and wanted the money. There was no one on line behind me as I wouldn't have been doing that. The manager heard how she spoke to me and did nothing. She was an older lady, at like 11:30 am. June 15. I did not deserve being treated like that. Yes. I got nasty back but I shouldn't have had to. I don't go out to get abused.

My comments are about your store on Guess road in Durham, NC. It's a pig sty mess with dirt on the floors, trash all over the floors and just beyond anything I've ever seen in a store. This morning the outside trash can was over flowing and looked like it had exploded as there was garbage all over the area near the front door and beyond. I did complain it a while back and the clerk just shrugged as if she didn't care. Nothing has changed since then. I thought the corporate office would like to know about this as I've never seen anything like it in any business facility I've ever gone in.

I was just going to put a complaint about your store # 1429 in San Antonio, TX but I just realized the comments from customers were so many. But, with all these comments from customers, nothing has been approved in your stores. Why????? Dollar Tree just keeps opening more stores and annoying the stores with problems. Dollar Tree will never hire good workers and especially managers with respect towards customers when their company does not have to and get away with paying the lowest wages and benefits. They expect to yet work their workers hard and just keep one cashier open. Dollar Tree I think has more store theft and doesn't care because they always come out still ahead. Lazy, Crazy workers and very few good workers trying to make the store look good for the customers. The store in SAN ANTONIO TXS 1429 has many Holes in the ceiling and stinks with moles and is very dirty. The store needs to be closed down or REDONE. DOLLAR TREE is a great store if only one thing you can change to help the store and customer is called STOP BEING SO GREEDY!!!!!!

Purchase made of table covers and plaques on 5/8/23. I wanted to return the unused items for refund. I discovered at the bottom of the receipt that no refund is given only exchange or unopened item(s) with an original receipt. Had I known that before I purchased I wouldn't have shop there in the first place. I am angry that I found statements visible before purchase in the store. Pursuing corporate headquarters to plead my case at get a refund to my credit card. Otherwise I don't suggest shopping there unless you have no problem with exchange only terms.

Yesterday I was at your store #5853, Fort Bragg, CA. Where I experienced a very concerning loud
and offensive shouting from the manager, to a new employee, which could be heard through the store. Several customers tried to speak to the manager, regarding the loud scolding to the new employee however she closed the door and continued mistreating and shouting to the employee where it could be heard by everybody. The poor employee, a lady in her 50's, is new and apparently without experience, not sure about that. All the customers felt very sad for the manager's mistreated to a human being. The manager of your store #5853 at Boatyard Drive, Fort Bragg, CA 95437-5741, should be retrained or changed. The date of this extremely offensive behavior, was on February 19, 2023 @ 15:24.
I hope someone in your company will take care of this mistreated action. Thank you for addressing this matter, for the good of your customers.

I loved going to the Dollar tree in Hampton Township PA, but today I went in and the store was a mess! Dirty and unorganized. This is total lack of good management. You need to step up the attention to your stores. Our neighborhood also has Dollar General's which are open early, clean and well stocked and organized.

Hello I am making a complaint on the location in Belen New Mexico 87002 about the management and plus how filthy the store is. The male manager is rude, judgemental, unprofessional and is lazy. He is straight up a prick. Now for the store and how it looks you can't even walk down the aisles there's boxes down every aisle it's trashy nothing is put in the right shelves it looks awful. It doesn't look like any other workers are doing the job at all

I want to know why that when I got hired and filled out paperwork for my federal withholdings, that information was NOT entered into your system. I live in housing and I'm a single mother and I have to come up with 2 years of back federal with holdings for the IRS. I'm calling a lawyer and I'm going to sui dollar tree for this money. I've never worked in such a screwball place as this. Your store manager is a drug addict, nobody knows how to behave towards each other and use the public like they are trash. I'm so nervous about how I'm going to pay this back. You people don't care about anyone or anything unless you are getting something over on them. How dare they do something like this and I'm sure they will say it was an accident but I'm 100 percent positive I spoke with and wrote down 1 dependant. So where is it ?

The Dollar Tree store located at 29th and Garfield in Loveland Colorado is a filthy, disgusting, disorganized mess that is being run (into the ground) by a so-called manager whose incompetence, ineptitude and utter indifference for even a Freshman 101 level of professionalism in running a business and providing a safe, attractive and pleasurable shopping experience for his valuable customers, is almost beyond belief. The restrooms look like something you would expect to find in the scummiest dive in the scummiest part of Skid Row. Floors throughout the store are blackened from months of ground-in dirt and grease, and are splattered in dozens of places where God only knows what has been spilled or dragged in and just left to serve as the perfect accompaniment in a visual assault of the senses that has approximately the same appeal as a t**d in a punch bowl. There is seldom a cashier available, the self checkout stations have chronic problems and malfunctions, and even when there is a long line of customers waiting to check themselves out, there are usually a couple of employees who are either standing near the front door of the place watching to make sure nobody walks out with with merchandise they didn't pay for, or are busy gabbing, giggling or otherwise frittering away their time while ignoring that long line of customers. Speaking of employees, they are usually either broken down old wrecks limping around for a few hours a week at minimum wage because otherwise they would starve trying to live on their social security, or clueless teenagers who not only have not had one iota of training or orientation in anything that remotely resembles good customer service, but who very clearly don't give a rat's patootie about any such thing and are merely occupying space and doing as little as they can get by with doing in order to receive their minimum wage paycheck. Complaints have been made to the manager, every one of which has been waved aside and dismissed with the excuse that 'corporate' is at fault and doesn't give a damn about the customers or provide individual stores with the staffing and resources they need to operate properly, or they have been totally ignored. All in all, top to bottom, inside out and from one end to the other, this place reeks of an attitude of "We don't care" and a mission statement by getting the most money from customers at the lowest possible cost to the company is what matters above all else. As review after review makes abundantly clear, this attitude and approach to doing business emanates from the top and is pervasive throughout the company's operations. As the old saying goes, the fish rots from the head.

75% of Dollar Tree Stores are horrible. If it is in an area where section 8 is and many illegals, DO NOT shop there if you are a decent respectible human being.
Most likely the store and customers are racist towards the white population. And if you are a good white person, do not work there. It is a hostile environment. Your safety is in danger. However, if you don't want to pay for something, just take it. they cannot say anything to you. The Dollar Tree should be called the Dangerously Rude Tree. Or the Junky Tree at best. Don't say I didn't warn you!!!

The Havre Montana Dollar Tree needs to get their act together. I went to the store a couple weeks ago with a huge list of items I was shopping for. Several isles were blocked off by huge freight carts loaded with merchandise to be put on the shelves.Signs were hung on the carts stating the isle was closed due to reset. I went back tonight specifically for play dough and found the same situation only this time the mess was worse. Only about 25% of the isles were passable and those shelves looked like a bomb went off. The manager is rude and shows no interest in assisting customers. I asked the clerk checking out my 6 purchases instead of my usual 40 to 50 items if they had play dough as I could not go look due to isle blockage. She did not know(I bought some 2 weeks ago) so I know it is carried in the store, but she asked the manager. The manager would not go look and just rudely stated we don't have any..This behavior is unacceptable and the sakes in that store will bottom out due to lack on accessibility to product and rude behavior.

I'm a dollar tree employee and have been for 5 and half years now and I'm currently going through hard times in which I had to apply for the employee emergency relief fund cuz I became homeless in June, still am,my Fiancee car blew up and caught fire while I was driving on the freeway. So I'm struggling to get by daily, can't afford to get a place or car to get me back and forth to work when I'm scheduled and can't find any resources to help me but even though I'm going through hard times I managed to get promoted to a assistant manager. This is the worst I've been in a long time and when I found out dollar tree offers a program to help their employees in an emergency I was thrilled but I was wrong cuz all they've done is give me nothing but problems, making me feel discouraged and worthless as an employee with dollar tree instead of helping me. I know I qualify for the fund but I don't understand why they won't approve the grant

Very rude and disrespectful employees at store#954

Dollar tree needs to focus on their store employees. They are working like crazy with no hours and they are supposed to run a team with 170 hours a week. Fright is not going away. They kept saying trucks are getting smaller I would Like to know where. Cause the store I go to They all are busy trying to get it done with no hours. New dm is very hateful to her sm. I don't appreciate how she talk to her sm. Something needs to be done with how she is treating her sm. I know the sm, she helps out everyone and she doesn't get anything back in return. You might want to start looking at all the hard working associates and move them up before you get someone from outside.

Dollar tree/Family dollar are the lowest paying jobs in Michigan. Starting out at 11$ an hour but expecting there employees to pick up the slack of 3 people's job duties due to not having enough help. The ones that are working are hired in at part time so they don't quilfy for any of the benefits. These people than get scheduled full time because they are short handed and expected to give 100% at there job, but are not even making enough to cover there rent a month let alone provide for there families, put food on the table and pay all the bills. They got a raise to 14$ an hour but that's from may 29th-August 29th than they go back down to there regular pay. Is this how much your employers mean to you? Because if it is what help you have left is going to walk out and quit and go to an easier job making 7-8$ more an hour not having to do the job of 2 people. This is exactly why your stores in Michigan are so short handed on workers. When you can go to McDonald's and work having to deal with half the stress, cause your fully staffed and get paid 18$ an hour. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's a slap in the face for a family dollar or dollar tree employee. Is that all your employees are worth to you? I will be calling all the news stations in the upper peninsula to fill them in on how you treat your employees. There is absolutely no chances of moving up from cashier as there are never giving a chance. The family dollar in the zip code area of 49781 has 3 managers and 2 part time cashier's who are working way over part time , We are one of the business family dollar stores in the U.P as part time clerks are busting our butts help put truck away, running register while the only other person on that shift is the manager who is trying to do the.101 things there boss told them to do. We are tired of doing the work of a fully staffed store when clearly we are short handed by 3 cashier's and a part time assistant manager. We get absolutely nothing but another 8hr shift. We don't need a temporary raise for the season we need a raise to show us that we are appreciated for all the extra hard work we are doing even tho it's our business season of the year. The St.Ignace family dollar the Cederville family dollar, Kinross and the Sault STE Marie family dollar are about to watch all there employees quit and walk out and have to close the 4 stores completely down because there is no employees to work. Our teenagers are making 7$ more an hour than there parents who are working at family dollar/dollar tree. If you don't want to close the doors of these stores in the Upper Peninsula you may highly think about upping the wages of your employees. Maybe than the stores would get the help they need to be fully staffed again. Because people knowing they have a job that pays there rent and bills ECT.

I was in your Dollar Tree location on SR9, in Hurricane, Utah on Easter Sunday, 4/17/2022. I was the only customer in the store at the time. I was in your store for approximately 20 minutes and the entire time that I was in the store, your two employees, Sharon (an older lady) and a younger gal with short hair and glasses (who refused to give me her name), were talking loudly at the front of the store. They did not seem to mind that there was a customer and continued to go on for the entire 20 minutes that I was in your store about how bad consumers are and that we all treat them, as employees, like crap. thought those were not the words that were actually used because it included significant profanity. I tried to finish my shopping and just let it be, but they continued to talk about how bad corporate and management was and that they could just "F this job". They continued on about how stressed they are, while using profanity. For TWENTY minutes!! I had a full cart and after 20 minutes of listening to them, I was disgusted!!! I use profanity, don't get me wrong, but to talk about the CONSUMER, when one is IN THE STORE!!! As I left, I decided to let them know how upset I was at their unprofessional behavior. Sharon, the older lady did apologize, but the younger person, refused to give me her name and rolled her eyes at me and didn't say a word. As a professional myself, I understand stress and needing to vent to coworkers, but THIS WAS RIDICULOUS!!! You should NOT have someone like that in your store. As a DOLLAR store, I had almost $150.00 worth of items In my cart for purchase. I left my cart and will not be back to that store. I know that I am one person, but I will be "venting" on Facebook as well, because this experience was the worst I've actually had in any store in years!!! That younger gal should be fired immediately!!! I am not one to complain about much, out in the community, but DISGUSTED at their behavior!!! I've even left a voicemail on the corporate number. If there was a number for a local manager, I would be calling them as well.

LADONNA at Dollar Tree in Vernon Hills Illinois went out of her way for me to find a lint roller. Can't ever remember anyone in a store doing that for me! She's absolutely WONDERFUL! Please tell corporate! Such a sweet lady!!!

On several occasions my grandkids have lost money in the coin machines for tattoos and also enclosed toys in a plastic bubble. The local stores say they have no control over the machines to contact corporate. I would like these machines taken out of the stores because no one services them and they take money from innocent kids?

I went to the dollar store on Main Street in Houston Texas. The young Hispanic manager was horrible unprofessional. The cashier lady too. When I went to cashier with items I want to purchase, Cashier was saying" I m waiting customer coming back so register is hold on for him" I said ok I m customer too and Can I pay and go? She gave me attitude so I said May I speak to manager? Why I have to wait those customer who went back to entire store and looking for something. The manager showed up bad attitude said I am crazy and she took my item and get out ! Wow! I m not expecting perfect customer service from dollar store BUT, they should hire better educated manager at least. There are more stores in Houston I won't go back to the location.

I have visited the Dollar Tree in Mesquite Texas on Galloway ever since the door opened. You have a manager named Missti that has worked there left and has now returned to the store. I can definitely tell when she is at the store , it is clean , well stocked . You need to keep her , she is very hardworking and has such a wonderful personality. The other employees seem happier when she is around. The world needs a lot more Missti's in it .

This is a complaint about your employee's at store #4207, sales associate Tara ,time 14:11, date 3/17/2022. I was purchasing some item and had only one food item, which I was going to pay with food stamps. I made Tara aware of the food stamp item to be paid separately, Tara stated that the machine will separate the stamp product from the cash product. I went on ahead to believe her, but Tara was being deceitful, and didn't tell me to use the food stamp card first, and then my debit card for the other purchases, so the total came to 27.50 before taxes, after the transaction was completed, I ask her about the food stamp product, and Tara looking at me with disgust in her eyes, so I requested for a manager, to give me back my money for the stamp item. Tara standing there looking me in my face and trying to lie to management about her action, and I don't like when I come to your store to purchase anything it's always a drama situation, your store associate gathering around my space at check out talking loud trying to distract me, from knowing what I purchase, talking senseless chatter, sometime two or three gathering around me. This is uncalled for and I think the regional store manager needs to address this issue. I don't deserve this kind of disrespect, you're employee's trying to cause me hardship by trying to distract me or over bearing me with senseless chatter, I just wanted to pay for my product, not Social gathering with people I don't know. Please bring this behavior to a stop.

Stow Ohio store is always well stocked and friendly help, I am a regular customer spending at least $30 per trip. After raise to $1.25
Prices are not as competive- most stores have 10/$10 specials or dollar deals/ so it is easy to shop elsewhere
Disappointed customer and do not shop there anymore

You call corporate to file a complaint or speak to someone about a concern and nobody's ever there. Poorly run organization/business which shows the only could care less about his employees as long as he is lying his pockets with millions of dollars. If I had a business like this I would make darn sure my employees were treated with the utmost respect because if they walk off this man needs to remember he will not have a business even though it doesn't matter he's all set for the rest of his life and this goes for all owners of Dollar tree. Stores are so short of help it looks like a dumping ground and it's very unsafe if someone was to fall and hurt themselves Dollar tree would be responsible. That shows they could care less about the customers as long as we spend our hard earned money. you can't leave two employees in a store especially around Christmas time when the line is all the way back and around every aisle and I don't know about the owner but that's logical and simple to solve. The stores reflect what kind of owner these people are and I give it an E-. They have failed their employees as well as the customers that walk into these disorganized messed up stores and I don't blame the employees I blame the owners not a nice place and as far as trying to get through to anybody to listen to our concerns you get an E-- for that.

I wonder if you would consider offering online purchases with a minimum order amount rather than full a case of an item. I have a disability and no vehicle, so trips to my local store are rare and dependent upon others.

Our community is shocked to hear of the pending closing of the Millinocket, Maine Dollar Tree in April 2022.
This is the cleanest and well managed store I've been in throughout Maine. The staff is extremely helpful and items are showcased professionally. This store is always busy!!
Oh the reason for closing has been made due to rent, can't something be arranged with the landlord?

My name is Dazharia Jones. I'm better known as MK. I work at 1524 E Joppa RD at Dollar Tree right next to the Guitar Center Store. I've been working there for a little over 2 years now and i have experienced so much disrespect and disgusting management employees within that time. My current store manager, Mrs. Delvina and my current district manager, Mrs. Liz, both have failed to perform their duties in regards to both the conditions of the store as well as the way employees are treated. Mind you, the store i work at is a corporate store. It's one of the biggest if not the biggest Dollar Tree stores within that area. Our store constantly looks a mess. The bathrooms are barely clean. Most times they aren't operational as i have to keep going next door to use the ladies room. Both Liz and Delvina constantly tamper with our schedules, often changing them at the last minute even after they've been printed. The schedules are supposed to be out every Wednesday yet instead they come out every Saturday. Mind you that Sunday starts the new week. I as well as several other employees have spoken out about this but they refuse to listen and make the necessary changes. We are losing people faster than we can keep people. This includes assistant managers, cashiers, and stocking teams. We've had to close at 6:00 p.m. due to us being so short staffed and we recently just went back to regular hours. Employees who speak up about how we are treated are threatened with termination. They've even gone as far as making write ups without consent and have made false reports of employees threatening them. This happened to me as one of the former store managers by the name of Jacob made a false report, without my knowledge mind you, claiming that I threatened him. I've not threatened anyone since i've been working there. I'm a very hard working employee who takes alot of pride in my work and my job. The hard working people who genuinely care about that place end up quitting due to terrible management, many work and health hazards and so much more. I've contacted the regional manager, Tom Leshko, who sent my reports to Human Resources. I've also contacted cooperate. I've left messages and even gave my phone number. My email is [email protected]. There is no use in speaking with the DM about this issue anymore because she doesn't care about anything that we tell her. Our office is located in the front of the store and it is very low to the ground. Anyone, Goddess forbid, could get inside easily to cause any of us harm. That is another incident that almost happened that involved a temporary store manager by the name of Mrs. Rhonda. She caught a man stealing from the store to which he then later came back and tried to get into the office to harm her. I shut the office door and told him that i would call the police if he didn't leave. I've not seen that man since but the fact that it happened and they still have not made the necessary changes for us to feel safe is beyond appalling. Mind you, it's mainly women working there and we don't have any male protection. Most of our store cameras aren't operational. Our safety is another issue that i brought to Liz's attention but to no avail. We have people trying to attack our employees, try to get into the store after hours etc and still they don't care about our safety. Mind you again, that it's mostly women working there. We don't have any male protection nor any protection for that matter.

The dollar tree located in Lancaster, SC on Highway 9 Bypass needs to be visited by a district manager BADLY. The help is nice as can be, super nice but the store looks like a bomb has been dropped in some of the aisles. I'm in a mobility scooter and love shopping in DT but can't maneuver up and down the aisles lately. If they can't do what needs to be done during business hrs hire a couple that can clean and stock after hours which as a customer thinks that's the way it should be done. This store is new only been opened in the location it's at a couple yrs but it's ridiculous at how it looks.

Raise your prices and I might as well shop at Walmart and every place else. So go ahead raise your prices above a dollar and you'll lose a lot of money. Because people will stop shopping at your store. Only reason people shop there is is because it's a dollar. This is one customer you will definitely lose. Walmart has been beating you with some prices anyway. I'd rather see you stay at Dollar then give Walmart more of my business. But that's up to you.

Your dollar tree on kingman Az has to be the worst store I've ever been in.. the manager is in there cussing about having to take down the everything one dollar signs. As her pants are hanging to low we all see her underwear and the hat she wear backwards on her head makes the whole look hideous.. Do you not have policy's for cussing , yelling , some kind of dress code .. my god ,, they can't even say have a good day!!!.. all I hear is our corporate will back us on this!!! .. god lord that store has gone down hill fast !!

I was exposed to covid and required to take ten days off. I was supposed to get paid during that time but today my pay hit my bank account and I did not.

Watching the documentaries about plastic waste humans generate and how extensive the problem is has made me think about the use of plastic bags at your stores and of course almost all stores. There is an opportunity for your company to consider not providing bags at all at your stores and thus encouraging customers to be responsible and use their own reusable bags as is being done but without the large scale they should be. I think this would be a great public relations campaign that would awaken people to the serious problem of plastic pollution and your contribution to begin reducing plastic pollution. No more cost of providing bags and possibly the sale of non plastic gags to be re used. Please let me know if you have any interest in helping to reduce plastic waste in our world.

Your store in kingman ARIZONA is the worst.. you have over 20 people in line and your cashier says it's just her I'm the store.. well no not true.. you have people walking in and out of the office and I'm the back.. yet customers always are the last thing on their minds .. this store would be great for self check out as your employees will not help take care of the line and then go back into the office!! ID Be fired for not helping customers first.. this is every day in this store..

Your Marshall Michigan franchise NEVER has their outside lights on. You never know when they are open and it doesn't help that they gave things hanging on the windows that darken it even more. I have even sent people there from out of town, but they go past it as it is dark. Which stands to reason, if they don't know their hours they aren't stopping.

I'm writing to let you know how I was rudely treated today at my local dollar tree located on Park Blvd in Seminole Fl. I was picking up some empty boxes which I've been told many times was ok to do the manage was standing near the box of boxes and there was a box that had been leaning on the other box that fell down and I was simply trying to put it into the box as I didn't was to leave it in the floor and he told me to get out of his way he was working here. As I trued to explain he rudely told me no I wasn't to get out of his way. I felt humiliated as everyone could hear him speaking that was to me as if I was doing something wrong. I feel a faithful customer should never be treated that was.

We are aware there's a worker shortage and it's the holidays BUT LINES DOWN THE AISLES IS UNACCEPTABLE‼️ I'M IN LINE RIGHT NOW! This is not just during the holiday season -- this is ALMOST every time I an in the store! Especially when aisles are this long, customer satisfaction should come first. Tell your workers to STOP STOCKING TO HELP THE ONE LONELY CASHIER‼️ AND DON'T HAVE AN ATTITUDE ABOUT IT ‼️ IT'S YOUR JOB‼️

Every one of your stores in Douglasville GA has the same issue!

Fix this!

Your stores have gone down hill. They leave all the boxes in the isles and some of the stores are dirty filthy. Do you not visit your stores? Make surprise visits. Go see the stores in Olathe Kansas...you would totally lose it!!

I shop regularly at DT in Georgetown, De. On more than 1 occasion I have had an issue with cashier. This morning I shopped and get 3$ worth of stuff and only had a 20$ bill. Cashier gets a little excited and in front of another customer says " is that the smallest bill you have?" I said it was and she wanted to keep conversation going, saying ok you're gonna get 17 ones back. I asked why she was making such a big deal? 20$ isn't a lot

I can't believe that your dollar tree stores looks so crappy. the shelves are bare the you have .minimal employees to work because you pay rare is cheap they can't keep employees . It was one of my fav dollars stores and I hear your raising price 1.25 for anything If this is the case then you need to raise the pay rate on your employees so you have people that'll work y'all made millions last year What's the problem!!!!!!

I ran into your store #3219 at 4950 Centre Pointe Drive Suite 130 North Charleston SC (1:00 pm today) to pick up a few things. Your manager was extremely rude & loud( extremely uncomfortable for me & few other shoppers), raised her voice aggressively at male employee about where something goes as he was talking calm to her, she walked off. Then she turned around walked half way back, extremely loud voice said a few things. Your customers & I just looked at each other. Your manager should have talked to him quietly instead of yelling at him behind me. No employee should be talked to like that in front of people. It is very disappointing to see a manager act like that. Maybe she needs some training.

Then you have Zamiria, on the register working so hard with a smile. People from the other side had to get in the line I was in because others closed their register. Employee closed the register, stayed at front while talking to another employee & girl. Laughing and cutting up while they see the line is getting longer. Your manager did not come over to assist.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention. I was so disappointed in your manager. No shopper should be subjected to this kind of behavior.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I've visited the auburn Dollar and was disappointed. I visited here a year ago and came to this one instead of the on one Opelika because it was always in a better shape. This time It was messy, dirty, dusty and stuff was everywhere. I know you all can do better. You might also need to hire a manager during the daytime that can lead to keep this tidy.

I just left the Dollar Tree in Chesnee SC. Couldn't shop long. Because an alarm was blaring so loud I needed to turn my hearing aides off. According to another customer the alarm has been blaring today and apparently no one knew how to turn it off. I know it is torture for employees cos they can't leave.

I would like to remain anonymous so I will not give my name and stuff on here but I'm calling to complain about a manager in Logan she's always picking on one of the employees that's been there for quite a while always accusing this person are running people off with she does not she's very helpful I am a customer of many years she helps anybody and everybody and now they've got an employee there that drinks on the job does employees just smoke weed before they come in you can smell it on their clothes and I think it's unfair that this person gets picked on I think you need a manager with a better profession than what they have I'm sorry if you need screen names and emails and stuff like that but I promise I will not give it well I hope this takes and I think the manager needs to be taking a look at because if any of the employees get a hold of corporate they will be getting in trouble because the person will retaliate against them as many of them do know thank you for your time

I retired from Dollar Tree dist 629 r31 store 02327 on Feb 27,2021 after 18 1/2 years.I was AM and over all enjoyed my time there, untell my last year or so there.Manager quit which left me and one other AM to cover store around oct to march or later acting as manager without manager pay not being paid for bank runs dm treated us badly which caused a hostile workplace.I reported it to the 800 number about her, within an hour got call from her and within a week was confronted by regional hr and her.I copied and kept emails she had sent to us.That was the last straw for me and my decision to plan my retiring. My problem now is i was told i would get my vacation pay when i quit,it is now june 27th,2021 and i still haven't got it. I've emailed dm several times and nothing. I have talked to state of nebraska which said i should of been paid on my last paycheck, did not happen. I am owed 187 hours vacation and i know i won't see bank run pay.I would really like this to be taken care of. Thank you.

Hello I am a current employee at the dollar tree store let me begin by saying I love my job I am a 48 year old woman I'm there a year in April the only time I've missed was once only because I had another job at the time and had gotten my days confused and besides that I recently didn't feel well so I left an hour before my shift ended with other co workers to cover me ... Now ever since I've started i volunteered to unload the truck every week and the only time I haven't done it is when I wasn't on the schedule for it now I don't mind being a cashier but I had asked my boss on several occasions since I unload truck and while I'm doing that I'm also training the new people who come and go and taking care of everything besides paper work so I asked if I could apply for management she had told me no because I was charged with a DUI in March of 2019 ... I understand that assistant managers need to run to the bank and I wouldn't have a problem with doing that my daughter is willing to transport me if need be, I can't see that being the reason either being that we have an assistant manager who is also without a license... I am a very good hard worker I don't believe in slacking I believe that if your Doing you work it is stealing and no matter how much the company makes and pays me I still believe I give 110% also I believe if I am able and willing to unload the truck every time it comes I should be able to stock shelves granted sometimes I'm not getting out what I should but there is no training for our new employees unless it's by the few of us co workers not by any of management . Most assistant managers claim it's not their job and don't get paid enough so I try my best to help our new employees and a lot of the times I'm running register and trying to stock shelves it's hectic at times when I'm the only cashier and management is my backup and I have no problem with cashiering but I'd also like a management position our boss rehired a former employee and she's rarely on cash register she's a stocker granted after she had quit she had lost her seniority so therefore I have seniority over her and when I asked why she's stalking and I'm unloading trucks and doing cashiering she refuses to unload the trucks and I don't think that's fair I'm willing to unload the trucks and stock the shelves I come to work everyday when I was late she had told me about it and I fixed that I'm not perfect but I believe I deserve a shot so if the DUI is the reason why I can't get a managerial job then I think I will have to move on because it's not fair for me to be able to unload a truck and have a girl 10 years younger than me stocking shelves while I'm doing cashiering when I should be stalking the shelves just a question if you have time to answer I would greatly appreciate it thank you for your time have a wonderful day

I am a loyal local customer so I see firsthand what's going on while shopping at the Edgewood NM Dollar tree . On this particular day I have the upmost displeasure of listening to the manager Lori and the assistant manager Holly disgracing the Catholic religion with a costumer . I was extremely offended not only was I offended the cashier look like she seemed extremely upset by their conversation also!
I find it difficult to shop while they are there.
These two need to be investigated !

Greetings yesterday at the dollar tree in Santa Cruz Live Oak store I witnessed a Customer being very rude to one of the associates. I was concerned that there was no one that we came to the rescue he went on and on berating her. I feel that the dollar store needs to have some sensitivity training and have a back up or a customer continue to harass an associate. Also I believe the corporate should have a way for the associate to get in touch with their fellow associates in case there was someone who is robbing the store I don't know

I was briefly an employee this month and was not even given a full 30 day grace period as I was told from the first day I started.-Which my first day of very few was on 8/7/1016 at store #1856, address 1224 W. Pawnee Wichita, Ks 67217. I called Sat night to see when I would be scheduled for this week and told I wasn't scheduled for this week and to call the next Sun morning to talk to Salisha, the store manager. So I did that, and she told me no, I wasn't scheduled and by the way, she is letting me go, and when I asked why, she told me for no reason. That it was what she decided and it's not even the end of my so-called grace period. In fact, I have only worked there 6 times in only 2 weeks. I have given absolutely NO reason for her to terminate me. I haven't been late. I worked all my shifts with no complaints and even past my scheduled shifts as necessary. She has been very rude to me from the very start. Telling me, if she doesn't feel like I fit her team or schedule that she will can me after a so-called 30 day grace period. Her tone of voice and attitude made me feel very unwelcome, and very uncomfortable. She was unprofessional as far as training me to count my cash drawer, what projects to work on when no customers needed to be checked out. She has been very rude to customers. Spoke gossip of other employees on the sales floor with another assistant manager within earshot of customers. She would speak rude, and brash with me behind closed doors, but nice in front of customers. In no way have I knowingly offended her, nor have I disrespected her. Quite the opposite, in fact. She is communicates very poorly as to what she expects or wants done. I have always wanted to work for Dollar Tree, was happy to have that chance. But I'm disappointed, I feel that I was cheated out of that whole 'grace' period and not given the full opportunity to prove myself, nor get to know exactly how things are done. I've never missed a day. I bet she would've never even called to tell me she was letting me go if I hadn't called to check my schedule. I have no way to prove that she let me go because she didn't like me, but because she wouldn't even give me a reason for her to terminate my position as a sales associate, I'd have to assume it was discrimination. It's unfair. I am also disappointed that there really isn't anyone I can directly contact like the district manager to discuss this situation with or just to even leave a report, in case there are repeated problems with this particular store manager. What about the rights of your entry level employees? Are not any of them or their concerns important to you like a customer's would be? Your employees and their friends and families are your present and future potential customers as well. I will continue my search to see how I might reach the district manager or whomever this may concern. I would appreciate at least a response that it's been acknowledged, or it's going to be looked into.I hope you screen and do personality tests or such on your future managers for the sake of your own company. If anyone DOES take any interest to respond to my situation my email is [email protected] Thanks, have a good day.

On Tuesday, August 9th I attempted to exchange the purchased two boxes of Peanut Chews that I had purchased on August 6, 2016. The expiration date on the Peanut Chew boxes had a store marked expiration date of 8/16/16. In addition to this purchase I made other purchased as well as other candy. This is not the first time I have purchased Peanut Chews from this store I have purchased them many times before and there was not a problem. This time however the candy tasted old and why I brought it back to the store to first of all let them know that there was a problem with this batch and two to exchange for a different candy that I did not have a problem with. On my receipt were other purchases of candy which were not being returned. I spoke with the cashier who refused to exchange this referred me to the Assistant Manager who also refused stating it was corporate policy not to exchange food. I wanted to be clear and asked even when there is a problem and was told yes even if customer states that was a problem. The Assistant Manager went on to tell me that the date on the box was 8/16/16 which is the date that they received the candy and therefore nothing was wrong with it. I further explained to the Assistant Manager that I have not had a problem with this candy before but there definitely was something ill tasting about this candy. I also told her that I am from the State of Pennsylvania and grew up on Peanut Chews and know what should taste like. Still the Assistant Manager said the date tells her that there is nothing wrong with this candy. If this is your corporate policy than there are no notifications in store #2568, Renton, WA that state that there are no exchanges or returns on food at all. Essentially it's a gamble when you purchase consumable items from your business. The Assistant Manager did not have a name tag on so I do not have her name. It was returned at 5:45 PM PST on 8/9/16.

The Dollar Tree on 5175 Garth Road in Baytown, Texas needs your attention. The shelves have no stock on them. The stock that is sent to the store could be more up-to-date. The fact that there are so many Dollar Tree stores that have problems is a sorry state and a major blemish on this company. If you don't pay attention to the smaller things, they will turn into larger things. That is basic common sense. Please don't bother with a form letter. I already know what it will say. The 99 cents store is looking mighty attractive.

I am a regular shopper at the Dollar Tree stores and absolutely love your stores and the great deals that can be found there. HOWEVER, our local Dollar Tree has rapidly been going downhill,as it is the most filthy, messy and discusting store that I have ever shopped in. (or attempted to shop in)I usually am in a Dollar Tree Store several times a week, spending at least $10 or more each stop. This store is the closest one to my home, but it has been so messy and filty for the last two months, it is a disgrace and I do not enjoy shopping there any longer. There are piles of scraps, broken open bags spilled everywhere, empty paper wrappers, loose items, etc. all over the floor, some areas that have been swept into a pile and left, including the brooms laying there with the garbage that has never been picked up once it was swept. Nothing is in order and the majority of the bins and shelves are piled high with miscellaneous items just thrown in or on them. There is no way to find a product that you may be looking for. The bins are full of opened bags and broken items and a mixture of products that do not belong. The store is not kept well stocked and merchandise can be found strewn all over the store from different departments. The carpeting is stained and torn, and filthy. There are boxes, both full and empty sitting all over the floors throughout the entire store, and you have to move them to even get to the shelves to shop. I have NEVER been in a more disgusting, messy, and disorganized store anywhere. I actually overheard a customer the other day complaining of this same thing to a store clerk there, only to get a nasty reply that they work hard and they did not appreciate that complaint. This is just UNACCEPTABLE for a retail store and it's employees to allow this!! It is obvious that the store is NOT being maintained by its employees and the management is not doing its job in keeping the place a place of business and not a dump. It does not live up to the name that I have always thought that Dollar Tree held in high standards. The employees are not at all friendly and it is very obvious that they don't care at all about customer service or the condition of the store. I would hope that there is someone in Corporate who would take the initiative to either go or send someone in to check the disgraceful shape that this store is in. I would expect more from a large company like Dollar Tree than to allow any of their stores to become the dump like this one has. I am sure that the Better Business Bureau would agree that this is NOT an acceptable place of business to shop with these onditions, especially with food items being sold there. Please check it out for yourselves if you do in fact, send representatives into your stores for unannounced evaluations. You,I am sure, would be as appalled by the mess as I am each time I go into this store. I am going to make it a point now to go out of my own neighborhood to shop at the Perry Hall Store several miles up the road, as it is at least orderly, well stocked and well kept with much friendlier employees. I once worked retail myself, and I know that this would NEVER have been allowed ,to let a place of business turn into a total dump like this store has now done. It is time to get this store checked out before you lose the business as I am sure is already happening and will only be getting worse. I hope to see an improvement if I do decide to return to this establishment. There is NO excuse in this in business !!! Thank you for your attention in this matter!!! I would appreciate your feedback on this complaint. I look forward to hearing from you on this subject.

I am writing about the Dollar Tree Store in Universal City, Texas. The manager Celeste Smith
is the friendliest and most helpful you will ever meet. The store is by far the best
and cleanest store you have in this region. The store on Austin Highway in San Antonio
and the store on Thousand Oaks are a disgrace. They are dirty and unkept. Celeste should
be commended for a job above and beyond.

This isn't the first time! She needs a lesson on customer service! PASTE a smile on her! I guess dollar tree is so desperate to have employees work that they keep her? Replace her! We will not go into that store ever again! I will tell others not to go in there either!

on 2/20/2013, i was in store 3807, it took me 18 minutes to go thru register w/one cust. in front of me, during this wait there was another cashier standing at her register, asked her if she was open, she replied 'in a couple of seconds" she stalled the whole time going around helping cust. , talking, blowing up balloons etc. i put my 5 items on belt, the cashier saw this and called the next person to her reg. i hope this ignoring of me was not due to me being a senior, i notified corp, and dist. manager neither have responded to me , i guess dollartree corp also ignores seniors,

On Wednesday, February 13, 2013, I was checking out at your Eastpointe Marketplace, Dollar Tree Store #2973 a in Tucson, Arizona, phone # . I thought I gave Chelsea (the cashier) a twenty dollar bill and she replied, "I had given her a ten dollar bill" in a very professional manner (even though there was a double line of customers waiting to check out). She immediately called the supervisor and told him about my claim. He immediately took action to resolve this issue. In the meantime, I looked thru my money holder and discovered that indeed from my known count of twenty dollar bills that a ten dollar bill (I knew I had) was missing. Ofcourse, I apologized to Chelsea, she gave me my receipt indicating $4.27 change, explaining (to the effect) "no problem" and I exited the store to go to an appointment. At my appointment, I could not find my $4.27 change. When I arrived at my residence, I phoned the Dollar Tree store and spoke with Lucy (who knew nothing about the earlier incident) and from my description of the young woman, determined it was Chelsea (who was still there). Lucy went out of her way to connect me with Chelsea who said the money was still at the cash register and I could pick it up at my convenience. The next day upon arrival at the Dollar Tree, Bob, the assistant manager went to the safe and gave me the $4.27 cent change. Bob was also helping out with the double line of customers and was extremely professional amid this very busy time. In conclusion, I wish to thank Chelsea, Lucy and Bob for exceptional customer service and professionalism. I expressed to Bob (assistant manager) how lucky he was to have Chelsea and Lucy as his employees. I'm sure Chelsea and Lucy are very happy to have such a team player for a manager. Thank you, Dollar Tree These employees deserve, at the very least, an "ATTA BOY/GIRL"

I will never enter another DollarTree store or buy another DollarTree item as long as i live.

First time ever i went in i bought something i needed and also needed cash to get into my grandsons swim meet. Dollar Tree charged me $1 for the $5 cash i needed.
A week later, tried to return stuff i bought cause it didn't work.

Dollar tree doesn't credit back your money. Will only exchange what u got for something else.

In other words, when they've got you're money, THEY WON'T GIVE IT BACK.

DON'T EVER GIVE THEM A grubbing CENT...i won't.

Just visited store 1925 in Tulsa. Never have seen a store so trashed. Absolutely no recovery program, boxes and fixtures in most aisles, floor filthy....Salesfloor is actually a safety issue...

I am a concerned $Tree shareholder.

I was in dollartree Sun. afternoon. Had an overcharge frrom previous time there. Asked the check out girl to see the manager when she was not able to take care of the overcharge, She called the manager, wated for 20 minutes and she didn'r come to front.Went to the back of store and there was noone there. The checkout girl had a long steady line of people, aabout 10 wating to check out. There were 2 managers in the store and there should have been more than one checkout opened.I left after 25 minutes but wasn't happy nor was the nice young girl checking out people.
This store is in Gulf Coast own center, Estero, Fl.
With jobs greatly needed by people why is it that there is a shortage here alsothere is a big chanage over I've noticed.

You are not completely confidentail. I made a complaint a few weeks ago about something and now i may lose my job because you people gave my name and store number to the person i complained about .
I have a right for privacy and i came to you people to be protected and it was the worse thing i could have ever done.
I will seek a law suit against corporate

On April 25, 2012. I was working at Dollar Tree in Nickerson Plaza, we were rob. I was the only cashier working up there at the time of the robbery, I had a back-up cashier but he was in back, doing something, unsure of what it was.
A man had asked me a question, which "Was was there anything 99 cent or below." I stated "everything is a dollar but we do have a clearance bin", told him about the bin and where it was, but did not know that maybe the day before or earlier that morning that the clearance bin had been moved.
Somewhere along from when he left, the guy ran into another dollar tree employee, and told me about the bin, "that it may say 25 or 50 cents, it may ring up a penny." And pick up an item. which he'd left on the shelf in line 3.
The guy had come up again, a little from me looking at the hanging items again that you can see when standing in the line for register 3. I was on register 4, while standing there I had a weird feeling about him being so close. I do not like it even when kids go behind me and walk down register 3. And the second time that he came back he walked to over to where the sodas are and then proceeded to walk back near me, he came back up behind me.
There was 4 people in line, maybe more. I had just finished ringing everything up, total enter. She handed me a twenty. I had a weird gut feeling with him being so close. I was blocking him on purpose while i was holding the drawer up a little to slide the drawer up and pushed the twenty under. They want the big bills under. That is what I do, unless I have counted it when a message appears wanting me to do a drop. I usually have 1 or 2 twenties left. I put them under my receipts for people when they want to get cash back. I do not like lifting it. And there have been numerous times when a big bill gets pushed to the very back and ends up falling out the drawer into the compartment where the cables and wires are stored from the register. A few days before this all happened one of our managers had found a one dollar bill, that had fallen out of the drawer to fall out, like I stated earlier.
I had closed the drawer and went to ring up the next lady in line. She only have 3 or 5 items, she also paid with a twenty, and as I was lifting up the drawer again, he ran up and shoved me out of the way very hard, I have a bruise from him. He took off out of the store, the employee who he had asked about the bin tried to chase him down, I tired too but it was making it hurt more, so i stopped and went back. The district manager the moment when she walked through that door, she looked to the right of her and asked "WHAT SUPPOSE TO GO ON THAT WALL." Tim the assiant manager who should have been up front when this happen, I had also told him I needed to do a drop. We got supper busy I had to call him up front to his register to help get people of there. Then he helped out and then left to go to something in back. Im not sure.
