Just called fire stone and ask them about checking my tire to see if I needed a new one and putting some air in. In the entire store there was not one tire gauge that wasn't broken. They could not check my tire so therefore I could not buy a tire from you. Do you not have a manager?

Hi my name is Valerie Johnson, I have been servicing my car with Firestone for quite some time. In 2014 I got a tune-up. Less than 4 days later the engine light came back on in my car, also my car was slightly skipping at times. I took my car back to Firestone and inquired that the engine light was back on, and my car still felt as if was stuttering/skipping as it was before. My car was examine again, (I had already paid for diagnostic test) I was told that they did not know why the light had come on again and advise me to take my car to Auto Zone and have them run a diagnostic, and bring it back to them and they would be able to then determine my problem by the auto zone number printout and then would fix my car. I continued driving until problem really got worse. I finally took my car to another Firestone location and it was determined that my gaskets were leaking fluid down in the spark plugs, and needed repair. I was told the first tune-up should not have been done because of the existing problem which was not diagnosed the first or second time I took my car in. Once I was told, I contacted management to express my concern. New manager spoke with me, said he would look into the situation and get back with me. It has been several days, and he still has not communicated the results of his investigation. At this point I am trying to relay my concerns with Corporate to file a complaint.

I went in Firestone for an oil change, when given the bill I was given a list of various things I should attend to with my car. It was an hour to closing, no mention was given to actually fix any of the problems. Assuming all the fluids had been taken care of, and knowing the temperature would be in the 20's that night, I felt as though my car was in great shape. There was no mention that my coolant was not topped off. My car started getting hot on the way home, I turned on the heater and it cooled off. The next time I drove it it started getting hot again, I remembered that I had replaced the thermostatt just last year. My son suggested we check the coolant, it was not visible. Fortunately, I had some at the house. I called to bring this to the attention of the owner, was given the manager and he told me that was their policy not to replace the coolant if there is a leak. I told him I thought that was irresponsible to let me drive off without telling me the fluid had not been replaced.
Naturally, I have always had the fluids replaced when I had an oil change, how would I know they didn't do it.

On route from Maine,USA to Florida my car was serviced at Firestone Hazleton,PA. A coolant reservoir tank was put in and an ac blower motor. Tank was filled with wrong coolant and a radiator cap that didn't fit. I had major problems after that as a result. Water pump and head gasket among other things. Those being the major expenses....to the tune of $1700.00 and six days in a motel....Firestone refuses to take responsibility here. Assistant district mgr. says there is no difference in coolants, only the dye ! He thinks I'm really stupid ....
