Cashier store manager
I am a big fan if your store love all ur products I had went to return item that I had purchased I was unable to return it untill l yesterday my husband had passed away I was overwhelmed.
your associate were not helpful I felt embarrassed and humiliated Infront of other customers I was treated like I had robbed the store I was told by them that they were unable to give me store credit due to the fact that it's almost a year since I bought the ceramic rooster $49.99 for it after explaining my situation to them and why it took me so long they still were not helpful.
Thank you looking forward on hearing from you .
Upset customer.

Hi, my name is Mike. And I broke at the McMinnville Oregon home goods and I worked at the Stockton, California, 12 and like 2015 or 16 things have changed with the credit card. And I do feel forced almost harassed to try and sell it to people even though I know that I've asked them before. Maybe even the day before and I'm told to ask him again, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. Why in God's greener of what I asked the same person the same question every single time that doesn't make sense, it's a waste of time as far as getting orders and like you said, cherry syrup somebody's sitting there. There really is no way and if you have to. You can call it distributor. I would go through TJ Maxx and they are the ones that do the distributing for the other stores or corporations. So we have underneath the TG mass.
If TJ Maxx or TJ ex corporate is floating, their company completely on credit cards. That's not good not good at all. And now maybe this text text may help improve the way employees are made to feel by management about doing that with credit cards, it makes people feel intimidated to do it and make some feel uncomfortable. And I'm gonna tell you right now. That's why you have such a high turnover rate at that McMinnville. Store, they don't want to do it and they walk out they don't come back. And I mean the employees and customers TSO. If you guys think a credit card is more important than a repeat customer. You may want to redo economics 101.

(56 Chambersbridge Brick NJ 08723 location) Nancy or Nency not sure how you spell it is probably the WORST employee they have at this location. My friends and i were in the store looking for a cheese grater and one of my friends had a christmas gift for another friend that happened to be at the store with us so he was being a little sneaky around us, not the employees, us. But he was then accused of stealing by nancy calling him a thief and he had asked her for her name to report this, she asked for his name and he did not want to give that and so he walked out. two seconds later she chased us out of the store (check your cameras) so i went back in and got into an argument with her and she tried charging at me. THAT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. her manager had to push her away and told her to go in the back. her manager then didn't seem to care and just kept saying "oh but she's so nice" are you kidding? she tried to get to me to do god knows what.. this employee deserves to get fired.

We have just moved to Saint Augustine Florida. I love your stores and there are none in our area. The closest is Jacksonville. Our area is overflowing with new homes. We are in Saint John county. Please please open a store here we need you.

I am a loyal customer and visit home good at least once a week, today I saw a patio set for 110, verified the price with an associate, and confirmed with one employee.
I went and got my car, talked to a furniture associate, and confirmed the price again.
Then I went to pay and the cashier said she had to double check the price, associate came back and sed the price was wrong per his manager.
Asked to talk to her ( Jenifer) she immediately came back in combatting mode and said that is the price for only one item. Asked her why it is advertised otherwise and the employee do not know the actual price. She called me rude and walk out. Sad that such a good store has such an MGT. This is the Home good in the corner of Preston and 121 and such a pitty has employees like this

My wife and I are card holder of Belk's, however, we cannot find any CHERRY COFFEE SYRUP, We can find numerous other syrups. Question is why no cherry syrup. Talked to manager today and she indicated what you see is what we get from our delivery truck. We have no way of ordering any CHERRY SYRUP, all our merchandise we receive is ordered for us. Manager did not even have the phone number to talk to someone about this item. PLEASE ADVISE.

My complaint is with the manager Carol at the Marshall's/HomeGoods combo in Vero Beach,Fl. What I witnessed was a very disgusting and shocking behavior from Carol. She belittle, bullied, very rude and this sets an unhealthy environment to her employees and to others like me a customer. She micromanage and doesn't support her team which is so sad because the employees are helpful and extremely stressed out that you can see it in their faces. What I saw she came out of her closed office and goes outside to smoke then come in and yells at her employees like they are some kind of trash. I guessed she has done it too many years that she forgot to be compassionate, caring, a team leader that sets an example to others and being supportive by bring around. Anyone can be a manager in a closed door but it takes a real manager that becomes part of a team! And one that cares too because it motivates your employees & it becomes a healthy environment for them to show up to work!

Good evening,

I am a long time customer of Homegoods , TJ MAXX and Marshalls as well as a cardholder. To make this as brief as possible I as well as several customers that I have seen hands on have had an issue with an employee in your Vero Beach , Florida location which is a homegoods : Marshalls combo store. Her name is Anita and works in the home section , to my knowledge she is a coordinator of that area . She is not only rude to customers but also to the people who work below her , they are intimidated to the point that they don't even want to help customers when she is there. Ther recently underwent management changes and the manager Vinny is very nice but I believe unaware of her actions as he's extremely busy. I have now had to travel almost an hour to ship nevaie of the discomfort level she has caused . I'm sure I'm not the only one. On my last visit an elderly lady asked her for an item , her response what we have is out if you don't see it it's not there. This is not typical for HG behavior and I hope someone will get this and talk to her. Thank you for your time in reading this and I am sure this will be addressed.
Your very loyal customer!!

Your syires claim you hire senior citizens, but that is a lie, my husband has applied twice to your stores in Vegas, NV to no avail. Went through the internet as requested but not even an interview. What is the story stores claim they don't get his application not sure what your problem is but he just wanted to help support us as Social security not enough. So it appears that you hiring seniors is a lie.

On July 2, 2021 my grown son was asked to leave the store while waiting for me as I was shopping. I have shopped at Home Goods dozens of time and bought hundreds if not thousands of dollars of merchandise. One of my sons is always with me and sits down while I shop. This is not uncommon as men have been sitting in stores for ages while their wives, mothers, girlfriends shop. But he was told he was loitering and security was called even though he was told he waiting on someone. It is interesting to note that once they saw that he was with me, they stopped pursuing the issue and left it alone. Home Goods makes a parody series on You Tube about a woman who is actually loitering in the store and it is supposed to be funny but accuses my son of committing a crime. Sadly, I have called and written them regarding this issue and yet have heard to hear back from anyone. Racial profiling in Antelope Valley, Ca. How very sad, especially when my son is on the President's List and in college. I am still waiting to hear back. I will not go back until I hear back from this store.

I think it is wrong for the way you sale items in your store. Some people are handycap and can't look up and down. If it's such an issue then limit how many you can buy of an item. To purchase on line is outstanding amount so this is not helping your business because if you take care of all people you probably make more money. I'm over looking for items that I want in my home for my personal use. You change the way you sale I might shop again but if not you'll not get my money anymore.

1. No masking in stores in Texas
WHY? No mask required in the stores in Texas and we are in a pandemic?
In Houston Texas, the stores do not require anyone to wear a mask. I went to the store in Woodland Texas and I was almost having a panic attack because at this store everybody coming in with no mask you don't even have the sign on the door that requires everyone to wear a mask. I found that out later not even wiping down the court's basket.
2.No Electric Wheelchair
No electric wheelchair I am disabled I want to shop at Marshal Home Good a lot more than I do. No,I can not your store does not cater to the disabled and doesn't have electric wheelchairs, but the Athome store does so I have to go there more. your company is missing out on a lot of customers not catering to the disabled.

Please bring Home Goods to St Augustine

The Mask mandate has been lifted in Az, however your company is still requiring it....I have made my last visit there until you lift your mandate.

Posted by Anonymous

I'm one of your employees in Wisconsin. The mask mandatory is over cdc lowered their requirements. Most of us are vaccinated. No company is forcing their employees to wear a mask. Except this company. Its hot in the receiving room the mask makes it hard to breath an air quality is horrible. Get rid of these masks don't you care about your employees who been working hard for you at less then 12 an hour. Been here for close to 5 yrs. Not even making 12 an hr

I have shopped at Home Goods for years. Today they have Re-established mask mandate in Canton Ga. I repentantly, purchased a sofa, large rug, and etc... I was going to purchase the chairs they had. However, I refuse to shop at this store because of the Mask Mandate that is absolutely ridiculous!
Home Goods can go out of business as many other stores will because we will stop shopping at stores that has Mask Mandates.
It shows the company's political involvement. Businesses should neutral on politics.
Stupid for business !

The Troy Michigan Managment either needs some etiquette training or some retail management "meetings" with higher ups in the company in attendance to teach them how to work / get along with others ( middle school 101) , there are 2 women ( manager and asst. manager ) that are nasty , rude and obnoxious to customers and employees alike and this store has had some of the best management in the business years past ! I've been shopping this store for over 15 year and I started going to the W. Bloomfield store because of how horribly the management treats people at the Troy location! So many wonderful employees are now gone and I'll assume it's because of the lousy management !!! Suggestions ladies , if you don't like people ...... get a job where you don't have to work with any !!!

I'm going to apologize for using public media before I rant on my experience at the Milford Ma Home Goods this evening on December 1st but unfortunately, the store manager was indifferent to my concerns so I'm going to let it out here !!

I frequent this store often and it's always been (for the most part ) a great experience ! Tonight as I went Christmas shopping... it was not so great , no actually it was terrible ! The staff not only was not social distancing and rude as they were too busy socializing with each other , they were disinterested in the customers and unwilling to assist with questions ! Some of the patrons that were in them store were also not social distancing and rude .
The staff , when requested help with a non priced items just disregarded my request for help and walked away saying under their breath ... "go ask a manager ! ," there were many items that weren't not priced and the staff again ignored my questions, but the most disturbing event was that I was followed around the store by these 2 girls . Everywhere I went they were within 2 ft of me !!! I asked them several times to please step away from me and asked why they were following me but it went on deaf ears ! They actually laughed , and rolled their eyes at me !
I don't understand their purpose ? I even at one point I said ... " why Are you girls following me ? I'm not shoplifting so will you please leave me alone and keep your distance!" I'm just trying to find gifts ... It was an uncomfortable and frankly a " terrible " shopping experience !!'
I became so frustrated and disgusted , I checked out and left the store ! I won't be spending my money at this store again and in the future will go to Framingham, Plainville or Westwood!
The manager should be replaced as she obviously has poor leadership skills and the staff has poor customer service skills or interest in their job !!! Shame on them !! They ruined what could've been a perfectly relaxing evening of Christmas shopping !

I'm extremely Disgusted , frustrated and very upset with the behaviors I experienced as I have been extremely cautious with shopping in retail stores for this exact reason and I will not step foot in this store again for the events listed and the rudeness I experienced! Those girls should be fired along with the manager!!

PS the young man who checked me out was wonderful and patient as I had many rewards to process ! Interestingly enough the manager stood directly behind him watching his every move and mine and listening to our interaction . I praised the young man and thanked him for his professionalism !

Department store in Alpharetta,
DAPHNE DORSEY
Ok my first impression, walking in was it felt overly stuffed, very enclosed and tight! We were graciously greeted at the door then the shopping begin! I have a home decor business over 15 years I have staged homes, business's etc and Home Goods have helped me do so with their beautiful pieces and fair pricing. I went into the North point store on 11/20/2020 for the first time and that's when it all changed! On the register was I clear sign that stated please place merchandise on the counter, well the very rude, obnoxious, overly worked, unhappy cashier MARY as I begin placing things on the counter yells leave it in the cart I can scan it from there, I thought strange because I also had smaller pieces inside my cart if I don't take them out how will she scan them???? She never moved from behind the register? I put the items back in and referenced her to the sign on her register that said, please items on the register, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. She proceeded to then say I can't see the price, I said ma'am I was trying to help by placing my items on the counter but you asked me to leave them? She mumbled, omg "one of these"??? I said ok MARY, CALL YOUR MANAGER up front so I can speak to him/her. Now it's time for the store to close the manager Bob comes up I begin explaining what happened he didn't bother apologizing in fact I told him what I do and that my company has an account with them and this woman's behavior is unacceptable!
He proceeded to say that I was being attackful to Mary as if he was reprimanding me? Another customer spoke up at this point as we witnessed the cashier smirking and laughing, she commented to Bob the manager that his approach was wrong! Sales goal and numbers matter. You are willing to allow a $10 hr.sales clerk make a customer spending $500 walk out of your store because of poor customer service! SAD. that says alot about store leadership. I purchased my items got home and thought, why did you shop them, it was late, I have a job to complete just get it. Well this morning needless to say I had a change in heart, I will spend the extra money in gas and return every item purchased, remove my account and shop where excellent customer service is worth every dime I spend! I asked Bob the store manager for Corp number he said he didn't know it, but I can give you customer relations number lol, when he saw that it was heading in that direction, it was then I got a huge apology and he promised he will speak with Mary! SAD SAD SAD!
I pray that these comments are read and taken SERIOUSLY! Stores like these should be excited to be back open considering retail business are suffering to online!

I'm writing to let you know how much I love your stores . I'm also writing to let u know of a great place to put another one of your home goods. There is a an unoccupied building that used to be KMart in Oscoda Mi. They are about to put a space station at the old Air Force base there. Things will begin to grow soon and there is know place for people to shop. I'm hoping u will research this area and seriously think about putting your great store there. I'm thinking it would be a win win!

I am hoping that an executive reads my post. Let me first startoff by saying I love shopping at HomeGoods...but there have been numerous times I have gone into the store in Charlotte, NC at Rivergate and heard a manager? named Brittany belittle and disrespect her employees.Employees there work hard. It should be an enjoyable place to work, but several complain about Brittany and her disposition/attitude. She is not customer friendly and she is not a great representation of the HomeGoods Family and what it stands for. Before she came, the management was great. If there was ever a reason to have an undercover boss - you would see for yourself. But please do something! Please move her out of Rivergate!

I can't believe that it is so very hot in this store it is so measurable to shop in the store I can't believe that they don't care about their customers or employees that they would just have no AC for the customers to shop comfortably at their store do they even care about us and we spend our money and time and that store so they should think about putting some AC.

I was in the Tinley Park store on 9/24/14 and a rack fell off the wall, scraping my left arm and bruises on hole arm. No manager ever called back for 2 days and when I kept calling, i got the run around. Very dissapointed the way it was handled. Jl
