I bought a Kitchen Aid fridge in 8/2020. My ice maker stopped working. Come to find out it's a manufacturer issue. The wires on the freezer side underneath are what looked to be cut because it has been pinched by opening and closing the door. They did not allow enough slack for opening and closing. Called Kitchen Aid and I have to spend $150 for technician to confirm this with them when I already called a technician who verified this. That's how we knew what was wrong. Oh but it's not their technician they use. So I called the technician they use and he said even if they came out and looked at it and verified that issue I would still have to pay the $150 and they can't do nothing about it anyway. It is infact a manufacture issue and the only way to fix it is replacing the door. Technician said they can repair the wires but might only last 6 months. So why do that for it do break in 6 months. Technician told me I need to call Kitchen Aid. Well I did and they say that's not covered under warranty. BS!! It's a manufacturing issue, why is that not covered? Why do I have to spend $1400 for a door on a $3800 fridge that's only 3 years old!!! This is so unfair. I'm disgusted and will never ever buy a kitchen aid again in my life. For that price they should stand behind their products. So ashamed of this company. They are scammers and take advantage of people! We don't make hardly any money and now I'm stuck with a expensive fridge with no ice maker. I invested in this fridge for two reasons, one I needed a counter depth fridge cause of my narrow kitchen and this one was the least depth and I thought Kitchen Aid would be more quality and last a very long time so I decided to go ahead and spend the way extra money but boy was I wrong!!! Horrible appliances!

Worst costumer service I have ever experienced with appliance! Spent $6,200 for a defective oven and KitchenAid doesn't care because it's past warranty. Warranty or not your company sold me a defective oven and now it must be completely dismantled after 2 years of hardly any use. Not to mention not one oven repair person has ever replaced this part on this oven which confirms something was wrong when oven was put together. Before the oven got to my house something was wrong with it. KitchenAid sold me a faulty oven and I will never purchase kitchenAid again in my life. On top of that I will share that the company doesn't matter how much you pay if they sell you a faulty item and it's past warranty your screwed and they don't care. Absolutely heartless company. Purchasing an oven from you has been a NIGHTMARE!!!!

We purchased a kitchenaid fridge in 2018... I have sent emails along with pictures of the door panel exterior stainless steel corrosion...three times, no response... I did initially call and they said they could send out a certified service provider for 149.00, however, I opted out of that because I'm sure they would just tell me that it's not covered under warranty...which I do t want to pay, since we already paid so much for the fridge ....we believe that the damage is faulty stainless steel and manufacturing process...I just got off the phone with customer service, they offered a 40% off of a new fridge!!! Ask yourself, would you replace a fridge that is only 4 years old????? After spending 2k on the original one...

I purchased two of your kitchen aid mixers from Walmart for my mother. These were gifts meant for her to do cakes and make it easier on her. At 380.00 each u think that they would last longer than 30 days. However this wasn't the case. My mother had the receipts and things but of course lost them. When we took them back in Walmart and had the card of payment they wouldn't do anything. Bad business. Almost everything in my kitchen is kitchen aid and I am so disappointed in the company

Dear Kitchenaid:

I have a 5/drawer Kitchenaid refrigerator that has given me nothing but problems. I have had 5 services calls in the last year with the last being in December/2021 where they replaced all sealed parts. You would think at this point everything would work. But, my freezer and icemaker are still not working, the freezer is leaking and I have lost hundreds of dollars of food (again) because of this. At this point I believe this refrigerator is a "lemon". I am more than disappointed with Kitchenaid and this refrigerator. When you buy quality you expect quality but this is not the case. And, to make matter matters even worse the Kitchenaid service company wants to charge me $150 to diagnose the problem that has been the same problem all along! This is unacceptable and need this to be rectified immediately is not sooner.

Hi, my name is Yvonne Washington -LeFlorie. I am an AVID Kitchen Aid toaster oven-appliance user ! I have been since I purchased my first toaster oven over 8 years ago, I believe. In January of 2020, I replaced my old toaster oven with the EXACT same model after my daughter had allowed melted pizza cheese ? to drop down on my burner and TRAY making it look yucky ( she's a pizza lover). So I decided to replace it with a brand new one. Soon after I purchased it, I promise I noticed a click click clicking sound each time ( and I STARTED to return it -dang) EVERY tTIME I used the "bake" option, because I RARELY eat "toast" - not a bread fan. My newer oven has gone OUT, but the pizza burnt droppings of cheese one STILL works! They say older products last longer. But I teach 105 Middle School children - remotely. By the time I researched to determine the date I purchased it, I became horrified! I put moose my oven BAKING function has been not working for at least a month! I am a 52- year old veteran teacher who would not waste time to fabricate anything! Is there ANY way that you can replace or repair the toaster oven baking function for me. I bought my unit on January 1, 2020. My number is 773-301-4789.. please be fair and "save a teacher "... Model number KCO253CU . Purchased from Best Buy . UPC - 883049422909. Picked up in Highland Indiana . Site to Store. By the time I am done teaching 4 separate groups of more than 25 students in front of a computer I am too tired to look at a sceeen. I finally located my "orders" from Bedt Buy after a month, and today is the 7th of January. In spite of all that we are going through with this pandemic and everything else, I ask of you to please extend the normal warranty to an honest and essential consumer, Kitchen Aid? I have proof of purchase and pictures of BOTH the old yucky one and my well-kept newer non functioning on BAkE mode-one?

I have been on hold for over an hour trying to get ahold of customer service for being charged twice for a mixer I bought on black Friday. How can I get a real person on the phone to refund my double charge?

I contacted Kitchenaid because, now, for the 2nd time, my oven doesn't turn off unless I unplug it. It had already had part replaced once. The oven gets so hot, the knobs melt. This is a huge safety issue, which the technican indicated as well, and instead of kitchenaid replacing the entire unit, they will only give us $600 for a stove will paid $1600 for. The stove is only 3 yrs old. I don't have the extra money to pay for another stove, especially with the recent Covid layoffs. But outside of that, this is a SAFETY issue that I guess I will need to take to the CPSC since I have to keep a faulty stove

Called the corporation offices and end up on some chatline now they want money to discuss a warranty issue on a two-year-old piece of KitchenAid equipment doesn't sound like a company I want to do any more business with.

I contacted KitchenAid regarding the door gasket/seal for my KFRC300EWH01. The person I spoke with started out polite and As I pressed him further about the photo on the parts site not resembling the part on my fridge, he became less polite. The when I asked him about why there was a price difference between the black gaskets and white gaskets (almost $50), he said I'd have to ask Corporate. So I am asking, why such a huge price difference?

Also it would be helpful to include additional pictures of the parts. In this case I was not able to discern the "flanges" on the gasket (they butt up against the rail).

We purchased all Kitchenaid appliances for our kitchen when we built our home. We've lived in it for 19 years. I did the self cleaning process and after doing that, the oven no longer worked. The repairman told me if I cleaned it again to shorten the cleaning cycle. Last evening I cleaned the oven for 2 hours, and today it does not wrk. If an oven is designed to self clean, I don't think it should damage the product. I am REALLY UPSET about this. Now we have to have a repairman come again or purchase a new oven. If we do decide to get a new oven, it will not be a Kitchenaid. I don't think we should be strapped with ANOTHER repair bill on a product that is supposed to be superior to others on the market. I would appreciate a response and a refund for damages!

I purchase all Kitehenaid appliances for our new house in 2015 first thing after cooking in my double oven the interior turned from a pretty blue to a grey they replaced it and told me that's all they would do if it happened again to not call them first time I used the self cleaning feature the oven turned horrible can not get it to look clean always have a film look to it and and all these little specks all oven the oven I hate all my Kitchenaid appliances their quality no longer exists and there is no service you buy your stuck with it I'll never buy kitchenaid again not will I buy from Texas Appliances there no pride in the product they sell just the almighty dollar is what talks I bought $2100. In appliances from this company and the service is non existent. Kitchenaid needs to be put out of business until they start making better quality product again as they once did.

I purchased a Kitchenaid microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Within the first year of ownership, I have had to call for service on three out of the four appliances. I recently had to replace the refrigerator, which was less than a year old. I am now waiting for service for the fourth time within one year on the stove. I am waiting on the dishwasher to be repaired for the second time. I purchased all the appliances May 2013.
If you are contemplating buying Kitchenaid appliances, you are better off choosing a different brand. We were informed that, although we had four service calla for the same problem in the first year under manufacturers warranty, and the problem was not corrected, if we had not purchased and extended warranty, we would be paying out of pocket.
Fortunately we did get the frig replaced in the first year.

In the first year the frig was out of service for approximately one month waiting service calls or parts.
The stove oven was out of service for three weeks awaiting service calls and parts. Oven currently out of service for past week and will remain put of service until at least the 27th when we may get a service all.

Working to solve factory defects in my new double ovens for 3 mos. now with multiple run-arounds by service#s and "tech". After spending over $2000 for these quality ovens, they send me a high temp paint pen to coat divits in the oven floors and supposed to do this on my own!! No way would I fall into that trap. Very little customer satisfaction and I would no longer purchase any Kitchenaid appliance, or Whirlpool now that they have joined forces.

Just wasted an inordinate amount of time trying to purchase a "switch" for a three year old Kitchen Aid Counter top 10 inch Oven. Come to find out after chat room with KA they do not offer the simple switch. They want you to buy another oven... total greed and throw away business mentality. It was a curious attempt on my part because companies like GE and Sears offer the smallest part for repair. Well I can't do much except avoid Kitchen Aid products forevermore. Enough said!!

Sounds pretty sketchy to me. I wouldn't give them my
CC# either.

What's really freaky is that on every web site I click on the same bogus phone number is listed. I'm going to keep trying to find a number that will go through.

Even so I will be writing letters to corporate at the both addresses that are listed since I'm not sure which address is in fact the corporate office.

Obviously this is from a third party. Just read it. Why can't there be a number or email address listed for this contact ???
There is something strange with the corporate offices. I contacted what I thought was Kitchenaid customer service and was told by individual that my 9 year old dishwasher would be repaired at no cost to me & parts needed would be sent to me at no cost. I was in such shock; it didn't sink in until a day later. Why are they absorbing these cost on a 9 year old machine ?? Contacted repair company & said they have authorization for repair. Company also said they would need my credit card number in case Whirlpool/Kitchenaid didn't approve charges. WHAT ! Sounds pretty close to a scam to me!
Told repair company if they want to repair unit feel free but I will not pay for service nor give them my credit card number. Something sticks here! If it sounds like a duck & walks like a duck....you know the rest !
