It really is a shame that a company based in Texas has call centers in the Philippines who are rude, hang up or say they have no United States phone numbers....when I did track down a number it went straight to a voice mail......If they don't want to answer their U.S phones then leave our country...

I canceled my membership with Match.com on Feb 1,2018 I submitted the answers to your little survary asking why I'm leaving. On Feb 10th I received a noticed stating I had a charge from Match.com applied on Feb 7th. I emailed the customer service, and I re-canceled the service.

I called Match.com on 2/12 at 8:30 am spoke with Manuel which sound like a female but has a male name. He/She looked at my account and said that the first cancelation didn't take that why I was being charge. He/She also stated that they noticed that I hadn't used the account since the Feb 1st. Which I informed them that no I hadn't because I canceled it on Feb 1st, why would I use it after I canceled it. I informed them that I sent an email on that date and later confirming that this was canceled and I could provide my forward copy on the date and they he/she said they could not take that. and that they didn't have any email from me.

I want my refund. you service removed $49.00 from me after I canacled my service and looking on the website I'm not the only person who have done this too. seems like fraud to me.

On 9/27/16, I paid for a one month subscription plus privacy protection. Match employees, in the Philippines, immediately got into my account, changed my profile picture. I complained, insisted I should be allowed to use the picture of my choice, deleted all but the profile picture I wanted. In retaliation, the Match folks in the Philipines then got into my account and began "liking" and "favoriting" women I had not even looked at, thereby giving numerous women access to my profile within an hour after I had signed up. I was stunned. When I complained again, emails were deleted from my account by Match employees in the Philippines. After 30 hours of this, I demanded and received a full refund. This means, however, that Match allows their employees to have total access to your account, and gives them control over your account; and this also means they can get your credit card and other details. I feel personally violated by Match and its employees who must do this to people all the time.

Once again Match has deducted $35.99 from my bank account without my authorization to renew. I went into my account and cancelled for the month of January and it didn't get put through for some reason. Not only am I dating someone, but I would never pay full price for this service. I would like to be reimbursed immediately as I do not have extra money after the holidays as a single mom. This is the second time you have taken my money without my authoruzation.

I signed up for a 3 month subscription and within a day, I realized that I was not ready to be dating yet. It was over the holidays and you guys were closed so I called today, had to wait on hold for an hour and when I finally got someone, they told me that they can't give any refund because I had responded to e-mails. I said that was fine, can I just cancel the second 2 months and they said 'no'. They said that I could have just signed up for the month on the website. I searched the website intensely when I did it, looking for a one-month option and didn't see one anywhere. It was hidden and not clearly visible but now that I know it is available, the company is refusing to refund the difference. I don't even care if I don't get all the money back. I will p ay what is supposed to be the full price for the one month but want the difference that I paid, for the 3 month subscription, returned. I would like someone from head office to contact me, please.

your customer service is terrible. no one can give me an answer to something that was obviously a mistake. I work in public relations and i will do whatever I can to get this heard. I would like someone in the corporate office to contact me to fix the situation.

Your company has the worst customer service I have come across in many years.Trying to give a paid up subscription to my daughter was a tedious experience.Many phone calls hearing the same message and given inaccurate information,Finally called Corp.Realized mistake was made immediately tried rectify. No way was Match.com going to back down or even compromise.Persisted and finally got a live person who knew what she was talking about and was able to be of some help..$76.42 is a cost I would not have prefred on my account. I was beginning to think Match .com was a subversive organation.

I am not a Match.com customer. I have NEVER subscribed to an online dating service, in that I am 57 years old I will NEVER have a relationship again. To even consider having a relationship with another person makes me want to puke. I block all of their emails, yet they come back with more emails and also tell me I have "thirty days to find a mate, or suffer the consequences." I would rather have my head cut off and fed to the birds than to be in a relationship with a sappy, co-dependent, obsessive, violent and abusive man. If you want me to be in a relationship, wave a wand and turn me into an ape. I'll then seek Ceasar out. You can't answer the question as to why you won't cease and desist, and then our new Masters, the Hispanics put us on hold for an hour. FYI, I was born an American and I will now bow to the new rulers of this nation, namely, the Hispanics. In other words, stay out of my inbox. That's not rocket science, pork or collard greens.

Match is a terrible rip off. For a paid site they have no filters. They give free 7 day trials and get revolving doors that never pay. So why am I paying.
I asked for only profiles with pictures. Told they can't do that. Asked for only matches in my state, they can't do that.
No refund.
Match does not care. It's a numbers and money thing.
POF. Is free and can give all those services. Yet Match can't, won't is really it.
I will never recommend match.
The site is difficult to navigate and has many technical issues.
I used to belong in 2005-6 and it was great.
Now it's terrible.
It's a shame that this is none to folks when they are most vulnerable and looking for love.
Too bad.

Match.com is a company that I will never ever do business with a again. They just scam you for your money. They don't refund you for anything loop you into months of service and make you deal with people that could care less.

Ok I know this sounds insensitive I know. I met my husband on match 10yrs and so happy I did. My 12yo did the same thing making profile and men where contacting her. As the adult and very aware of what my child does, put a stop to it immediately. As parents we need to take ownership in parenting and awareness.

You had a free trial for Match.com, this allowed my 14 year old daughter to go onto your sight and put in her information, from which she was set up with a match. As you didn't ask for a credit card, it was easy for her to lie and say she was 18 when she clearly is not. Now we have to involve the police , CAS, as well as her counselor and or perhaps the man that met her? This is very disturbing to us, we don't understand why you wouldn't at least take measures by asking for a credit card number?

Please reply to me, when you have thought through this. Tomorrow our daughter is going to the doctors to be checked for diseases, she will have a pap smear, for which I think she is too young. The young man did not know she wasn't 18 years old until after he met her. He could have put a stop to it, but he didn't .

Match has technical problems accepting credit cards but say "they don't have time to deal with individual technical problems." Hello. Your company is not accepting valid credit cards and you don't see this as a problem?

"customer care" is useless - spoke to three different people, have been on phone 30+ now. Your receptionist is "not authorized" to put my calls through to your execs. My subscription status reported that my membership was to expire July 13, yet it was automatically renewed. There is no warning about that on the subscription status page. When one reads an expiration date, one expects that the service will be terminated at that point.

I am writing this email to inform you that I expect a refund of /$45.97 for a credit card charge on 2/27/2013. I signed up for a one month trial in January. I was charged for this one month which I paid for January. I subsequently received another charge in for February, which I did not authorize your company to debit. If I do not receive immediate an immediate response and credit for this $45.97 This will be reported to the better business bureau, Chase and it will you will receive some bad publicity via internet blogs.

Business hours are 8am to 5am right?....Its 837am and I've called every phone I can find for this site, even the corporate office has a recording saying I've reached them outside our business hours. Any know how I can reach customer service....and get through?

I've been a member two times (take vacations between). This time, I only wanted to try a trial membership. I wrote down on my calendar the date I should call to cancel so it would not revert to a premanent membership. I did call on that date but was told that it was too late, the membership already charged for 3 months $59.97. Something very fishy: On 11/20 I see a charge on Citicard for $59.97 - on the same date, I see a credit for $59.97. Then on 11/24 I see another charge for $59.97. It is very apparent I was trying to cancel this trial membership. I believe your site is designed to cheat the customer if that's what's necessary to keep them as members. I called today and had all my information taken off your site and will be disputing this $59.97 with my credit card company.

Your site is going to automatically charge my account to renew after 1mo. So I cancelled my subscription 6 days early because I know I will forget and be charged, yet you don't even let me get what I paid for. I should be able to use my act. For the full month, I paid for that, I understand why you make it automatic because I'm sure many people forget and you collect on it when they wanted to cancel, but I didn't forget and you have no right to make me pay for one month and grant me three weeks just because I don't want to renew at this time, so either you give me what I paid for or I never use your service again or recommend it to anyone, User:
