Another Lost Customer/

I purchased a Battery for my wife's car at NAPA Store on Dandelion Street Pahrump , Nevada in April 2021 , Invoice # 673990 . The car wouldn't start last week as the theft deterrent system engaged. Took the car to the local Chevy Dealer who diagnosed a Bad Cell in the car battery causing a low voltage / Discharge that engaged the Theft deterrent System. The above mentioned store refused to honor the warranty and replace the battery, even after they charged it and it partially discharged while sitting in their store. Their solution was to charge it again and say it tested good. Been a loyal customer with NAPA for over 30 years but I wont be back.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe at the NAPA in Kutztown, PA. He stayed after hours to help us with finding a battery for our granddaughters car and gave us some info as far as a hybrid battery for her hybrid Lexus. His customer service was above and beyond all expectations. Skip those other Auto stores and go to the Kutztown NAPA!

Bad product and store p0licies; buyer beware!
Purchased TEM16040R A/C compressor on 5/17/23 and had it installed the same day at a California State Certified auto repair shop. Worked great for about 2 months and then failed, just blowing hot air. Took it back to the auto shop where they traced the problem back to this compressor. I then called the Napa store where I had purchased it and they said they might be able to replace the part only if certain words or phrases were written on my receipt from the repair shop. Then he told me that they would not assume ANY liability for my labor costs as it had been me that purchased the part from them and not the auto shop?! What a way to weasel out of taking responsibility for selling a piece of junk. Whatever happened to standing behind your product? So now I might be out the entire cost of parts and labor because some billion dollar corporation values the bottom line more than customer satisfaction and making things right. I am 72 y/o, on Soc. Sec. and an Army vet and can ill afford to take a hit like this. I paid parts and labor of around $1,400.00 for 2 months of air conditioning. I WILL NOT ever set foot in a Napa store again nor purchase anything from them. I'm tired of getting shafted by companies such as them.

I'm a week behind from when I should have posted or contacted someone about this encounter. I was in the Bessemer, AL store and was looking for a part. The gentleman there was very courteous and went above and beyond in my opinion to help me locate the part I needed. He informed me the part was in stock in the Hoover, AL store. I drive to the Hoover store and walk into the store. I'm standing at the counter for at least one minute waiting on someone. I looked to my far right and noticed a guy sitting down on a stool maybe on his phone, maybe sleep, maybe daydreaming, I don't know. I walk over spoke and told him I was sent over from another store to grab a part. The first thing he asked was what time is it? Perplexed by his response, I pulled my phone out to see. I said it's 7:00 and showed him the time. He said, "We're closed!" I said I've been in here for at least two minutes and the door isn't locked. He looked very frustrated. The guy at the previous store wrote the part number down on some receipt paper for me so they would not have to look up the part. I told the guy at the Hoover store I have the part number. I extend my hand to give the guy the paper and he vigorously snatches the paper out of my hand and walks away. I was literally in shock and infuriated at the same time. Emotionally, I wanted to do a push off! I wanted to slide everything off the counter to make a huge mess so this individual would have to clean and reorganize everything on the counter. I knew deep down I would be wrong, so I aborted the thought. Then I knew the first thing I'd do. The guy comes back and says I have to come back the next day because the computers automatically shut down and he couldn't ring me up. He extends his hand to give me the paper back. I immediately snatched the paper out of his hand just as he did to me! I said, "I don't usually do that, but I need to show you how you took that paper from me. That was very unprofessional." He stated he was sorry. I continued to talk about his inexcusable conduct and he said, "I said I was sorry!" Before leaving I asked his name and he said Mike. I'm not sure what was going on with Mike and why I was treating that manner. I would love to say I will never do business with Napa Auto Parts again, but that goes against one of my philosophies. I won't stop a relationship with an entire brand based on the disrespectful actions of a hireling. That's not derogatory, I'm saying I understand the mindset of the shepherd who own the sheep versus a hireling who just watch the sheep. A shepherd will leave 99 sheep to find the 1 lost sheep, but the hireling sees no issue a feels he/she did a great job because they only lost one sheep. I can say I will no longer spend revenue in the Hoover location, but will patronize other locations instead. Thank you very much Mike.

I hope this finds the right person to recognize 2 employees in Littleton, CO. (Broadway and Powers) store. I was looking for a after market part for my CJ5 was about to throw in the white towel looking everywhere in Denver for the part. Last resort was to call Napa. Jon and Tony went above and beyond to get me the part even thought they didn't have it. That sense of urgency made me a life long shopper at their store. Jon an Tony thank. you for all you did for me. I walked in as a customer and left feeling like family. True meaning customer service.

I'm probably wasting my time with this comment but, the Napa store in Huntsville Texas is a good store. My husband's company does a lot of business there. My husband and I also do business there 4 our farm equipment. I was sent there to pick up a part for my husband January 2021. Posted on the door is a big sign that employees and customers must wear face masks in the store. As I walked in with my face mask on there were six people on a Saturday at the counter and wondering about the store not one person in there had a mask on. It is mandated by the governor of Texas that employees must wear masks as well as customers. As of today I have just learned that one of the employees and his wife now have covid-19. Teen. What is Napa going to do about the issue?? Or am I just wasting my time with this message?

Recently the Newark California store was bought up by corporate. so in the last month the service has been dog sh**, the people at the counter are useless we've ordered parts almost a week ago and they're just sitting on the counter waiting to be delivered, there is no direction in the store and there's no one to take charge, we know this because the outside sales rep is doing everything he can to keep the store going

I have an issue with your location in Gillespie up owned by McKay's. I bought u joints and had them installed by a certified mechanic. After leaving shop and driving 8 miles the u joints came apart and damaged my driveshaft to where it has to be replaced. Bill who is with Napa McKay's had made every excuse not to replace my driveshaft. McKay's give your Napa brand a bad name and will not stand behind parts that are faulty. They let people bring things back and you get opened packages with parts missing. I will never buy Napa parts again.all I asked was for them to step up and fix the problem and they refused. Lucky my drive shaft didn't go thru a windshield and kill some one or Napa would have a lawsuit on their hands. McKay's is rid and should not be representing your brand.

I live in Kenai AK and got the mail sale flyer last week. In the flyer was a notice of a motor oil and filter sale. It was a one day only sale for Saturday June 27th.
Got to my napa store at 9:30 to find out they didn't have the 10w40 synthetic oil in stock. I asked if I could get a rain check and was told NO WTH is that all about. Also told this happens all the time up here. COME ON GUTS THIS IS BS.I felt sorry the the guys behind the counter because it isn't their fault at all. YOU GUYS AT HQ BETTER FIGURE THIS OUT. I drove in from 30min out to get there and had to leave with a different weight oil then I wanted. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. ?

Someone needs to put up more cameras in the Napa store on Two Notch Road in Columbia because there are funny activities going on because employees are having sex in the store off camera and in the parking lot need more cameras ASAP especially on Sundays

Please forward to your real estate agent. We were excited about the new Napa store recently built in Peoria IL and it is gorgeous and wish there was one in my hometown. If there are any plans to expand to the N. Canton, OH markets, I wanted to inform you of an ideal lot that is for sale at 540 N Main Street. The contact information is 330-703-1473.

Back to shopping at Napa again now that they are sponsoring Chevrolet again instead of Toyota

My name is Tony Valkosak. Im 74yrs old. I help my neighbor as needed. She is 94yrs.old. She purchased a NAPA battery on Feb. 2011. It had a 24mo. free replacement. It died and would not take a charge. I called Schuylkill Haven NAPA, told them I do not have receipt but is it partial guaranteed. They told me to bring it up and it would be prorated. I did just that and the clerk said no receipt, no coverage. I had the battery with me. I purchase a lot of car/truck parts as I do work on them. I will never purchase any thing from NAPA again as the clerk was a smirk/smart whatever. I get absolutely nothing for this favor for my good 94yr old neighbor. I can not believe that they tell me to bring it up to the store, 7 miles away than smartly tell me no even though the battery was very clean and clearly marked as name, type, and build/purchase date. I went to Auto Zone and made my purchase. I will continue with Auto Zone and Advance Auto.
