I on Panasonic. All I wanted to know was how to do playback on one of my three handsets. The other two do not have a problem & I get my messages.

I got a message asking if my order number began with....
If my order no. began with n then..
If my order no began with n n then.

However, I did not have an order number and was not looking to purchase a contract. It assumed I was getting a protection plan!

On some Panasonic number (again which I got off the web) it directed me to a website that Panasonic owns. But, I never wanted to go to a website or I would not be calling. I will by AT&T phones from now on.

I never got a chance to speak to anyone and finally hung up.
What a waste of my time and to think I bought Panosonic!

I bought your DVD-ES40V recorder when it first came out and spent almost $400. Within a year I started having problems with it and you sent me your UG-149 disc dated 3/20/07. The first time it worked great, and since then every time I've had to use it, it's effectiveness has decreased. Now, the DVD-R player won't even stay on. Needless to say, I'm very angry and from now on I'm going to bad mouth your products every time I can and will never buy a Panasonic product again.

I purchased a Panasonic Blu Ray player that needs frequent firmware upgrades. After not being able to pull the update off of the Panasonic website, I was told I needed to pay for an update disk (even though I felt the issue was with the website and not operator error on my part). Regardless, I paid for and received the update disk, which did not work when put into the player (it read "disk is incompatible). I called back and asked for a replacement disk before I sought service for the player. I was told I would get a call back, which I did and the agent said to put the disk into my computer and see if the update file was showing on the disk. A file does show up, but has a date of 04/20/12 over 24 months ago, and I had updated since then (in 2013). Bottom line is that I have placed several calls to customer service, and online chat, had to wait for calls back, and still have no resolution. I simply want a replacement disk to try to update the firmware and am getting no where with customer service. I have paid with time and money for a disk that I believe is bad.

Complaint about a faulty Cube Air-conditioner
I am writing to complain about the above Cube air-conditioner, which I bought two Cube air-conditioner from your dealer M/s Rakesh Electronics , 2162/T-22 , Main Patel Road , West Patel Nagar, OPP Metro Pillar No. 231 , New Delhi-110008 on 3rd May , 2014 .(see the attached photocopy of the Original Invoice - 446).

In these two Cube air-conditioner one was installed in my bedroom on 4th May, 2014 After installation the mechanic found that the air-conditioner did not function properly. it was extremely noisy. So the mechanic told me that he came on 5th May and repair it but the problem was not sought out so on 6th May again five engineers visited to rectify the problem but the problem was not sought out so they told me that this unit is faulty and it has to be change. Than I called Mr Manish of M/s Rakesh Electronics on Mobile Number 9811132484 but he didn't reply than I send repeatedly sms regarding my Problem but he didn't reply. So I lodge the complaint in Panasonic Customer care on Phone 18001031333 vide complaint No. 032580 on 7th May ,2014 A engineer Mr. Ali came from Panasonic after checking the Air conditioner he update the problem to his senior Mr Sunil ( Super engineer) on Mobile Number 9350304434 of Panasonic. When I talk Mr Sunil and request him to exchange the faulty air-conditioner for a new one. His attitude towards me was quite rude and unhelpful. Even though I pointed out that the air-conditioner was guaranteed, he refused to provide a replacement. When I insisted that he do so, he claimed that Panasonic Company is not responsible as well as Mr Sunil told me on phone now we cannot repair it you talk to M/s Rakesh Electronics or pay us for repair as Air-conditioner gas.

This sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable. I demand that you either replace the air-conditioner immediately or refund my money. If you do not do so, I shall take this matter to the Consumer Court. My contact telephone number
Yours faithfully,

Rakesh Kumar

I was (WAS) a loyal Panosonic customer but after our 5 yr old, 46 in. plasma would not turn on after being plugged in following a vacation and instead prompted a code, I contacted Panasonic. I spoke with a customer service agent named Tameka who stated that Panasonic provides assistance based on the age of the tv and the original cost of the TV. The amount we originally paid for it was $1975 +tax. She said that following a visit from their authorized repairman, they would either provide assistance towards the repair cost OR ensure a discount towards a new t.v. She never said anything about our TV being out of any preset parameters and as our TV cost more than 3 times the amount of a 50 in Panasonic Plasma today, I assumed that our case fell under the "original cost" category. Who wants an unhappy customer who had invested a lot of hard earned money into something that lasted less time than it should have? AFTER the repairman's visit and quote and multiple follow up calls on my part, Tricia, informed me that the original info provided by Tameka was incorrect and all Panasonic would do is provide me with a "Customer Loyalty" discount toward a new TV via their website. It took 2 1/2 wks for them to officially give me the denial for my case (#30580393) due to the age of the TV. 1. A TV that cost as much as we paid should last longer than 5 yrs. I can buy 3 50 in Panasonic Plasmas for less than what I paid for our one today. 2. If that is Panasonic's view of their product, that says a lot about how little they value their products or their customers. I should've been told upfront that they would only do a "loyalty discount" online, not after I am now out a service fee to a third party I did not select and would've never called in. I would not have fixed it knowing that they were not offsetting some of the costs and would've instead bought a new TV immediately. I also would not have wanted to do this via their online site but at a local retailer so I would've told Tamika, "Thanks but no thanks and I'll never buy another Panasonic again as you don't stand by your products." Instead, I get to say it while on the hook for ANOTHER bill for the evaluation. I would've happily paid that amount if Panasonic was helping offset the service charges OR if I was getting a "loyalty coupon" that could be used for another Panasonic purchase through a retailer of MY choosing. Obviously Panasonic has NO LOYALTY to their customers. Since the mistake was made by the employee in misquoting two options (one which wasn't even available to me and another that had strings attached) what should've been done was I should have been given an apology for the mistakes made and as a result of their error, they should have offered to refund me the cost of the original service visit. I would never had a company I would not have selected (I would've called in Geek Squad.) and wasted money that could've been used to purchase a new TV. It would've come in handy. I will let everyone I know in on what happened and how Panasonic treats loyal customers. Never again

Case: 29966211
TC-L42D2
MX01180169
Purchased: Apr 2, 2011
$967 at Best Buy

After extensive research, I bought my first flat screen. A Panasonic that I knew had reputation, quality, and longevity behind it. Nov 20, 12 the LCD panel (L5EDDAT0005) died and IAW with the tech, Panasonic no longer makes it. If they did, it would cost more than the TV itself ($1044).
I asked for "live Customer Service" help & they transferred me to Laurie Thomkinson, who was "indefinitely out of the office". Her voice mail referred me to Megan Murphy who I called on 12/28/12, who has not returned any of my phone calls.

The bottom line: A television from a major long-standing reputable company should last more than 1 yr 7 mos and 18 days regardless of the product warranty. My prior tube TV lasted me 27 yrs without any servicing whatsoever & through 7 military moves. I seek some credit to purchase another Panasonic 46" flat screen before I research another name brand.

Thank you for this outlet when voicemails don't seem to result in any action.

I thought Panasonic had pretty good customer service for problematic electronics goods. Turns out they are by the book on any assistance unless you under warranty. I've got a dead tv that should have lasted more than 1 yr and they are unwilling to help on replacing a $900 tv (Viera 46" LCD). Happy to do business with another brandname with better customer service.

Yes -

I bought a Panasonic Cordless telephone Model X

KX-TG155SK yesterday 11-24-12 I ham having a problem program it to cel Phones and cannot get assistance with this problem I am considering turning this complaint over to the States Attorney General

with a complaint regarding this matter. I just bought the thing why should I have to pay for assistance in this matter.

A telephone conservation with a knowledgeable person could most probably rectify this situation.
