I was at my daughter and future son-in-laws house and he ordered pizzas for lunch.he went to eat a piece and I noticed he was staring at it and then he pulled about a 26" hair out of the pizza. It was a bit disgusting!!! He called store he ordered from and they gave him a credit for a pizza . And person on other end of phone hung up on him as he was mad it seemed to me!!

Company Should Provide Clear Plastic Gloves For All Driving Employees, For Each Delivery!!! Telling Them To Wash Their Hands After Each Delivery Is Not Acceptable!!!

I placed an online order on the evening of 28 October 2014. When my pizza arrived, I was anxious to try the delicious and unique pizza that I have only been able to find at Papa John's. I have been a customer for over 13 years, and always make it a point to recommend Papa John's to all my friends and co-workers. So it was with great dismay that upon opening up the box, I discovered a badly burned crust, both top and bottom. Also, the pizza that I had paid to have extra sauce added to it was so dry that it border-lined on disgusting. Since I have been a customer for so long, I decided that I would just live with it. After all, Papa's is the best! Unfortunately, I found it inedible. And so I called the store to make it right. About 30 minutes later, the new pizza arrived. I was eager to see if the errors of the first were corrected. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Upon knocking on my door, the driver informed me that a delivery fee was due. This was highly upsetting to say the least. I explained to them that I did not have any cash on hand. I had just given all of the cash on hand that I had to my usual delivery person, who is a highly courteous and professional gentleman. He said that I had to contact the store for this to happen. So now I had to go make the call, and wait on them to answer the phone, while the driver stood outside with my food exposed to the cold air, without even a warming bag present. Upon getting in touch with the store, I said that "how could you charge me another delivery fee after messing up the original order". They replied with an "oops - they forgot to take it off". At this point, I mentioned that it was too much, and said that I would not be accepting the pizza, and sent it back. I also let them know that I was done, for good, with Papa John's Pizza. I realize no one at Papa John probably even cares about one lonely customer, but I had to say something in the hopes that someone does.
Respectfully
Sam Altamirano

My husband and I were traveling through Tucson Arizona. We stopped in at Papa on Valencia Street. They were somewhat busy but not to bad. There was this Man that was cutting loose on a employee. Calling him all sorts of names, like retard, stupid do you have a mental problem and cursing at him too. We have never seen anyone be talked to like this young man was being talked too. The man that was talking so bad to the other man didn't seem to care there was customers in the store. I ask the young man who was running the register what the guys name was and where could I find a Manager. The young man said very quietly his name is Robert Walsh and he is the owner of the place. We were totally shocked. The young man continued to talk quietly and said that the guy he was yelling at was a General Manager. We continued to listening to the owner of Papa Johns, rant in a rage at the General Manager. We just could not believe what was being said to the other guy and what awful things that was being said by Robert the Owner of Papa John's. He stormed by us and we could smell alcohol as he went by. He didn't seem to care there was people in Papa Johns. We felt so sorry for the General Manager, he kinda looked up and saw people looking at him. He went and washed his hands, then went back making Pizza. We wanted to write into the Corporate Office to notify you of what kind of Man you have representing Papa Johns in Tucson Arizona on Valencia Street. No one should ever be talk to like this Robert Walsh talked to this guy, who was a General Manager. We hope you take care of this matter as soon as possible. This Man should not be working in the public and should be removed from his job. He should also be held accountable for talking to this Man like he did. It was just awful and we hope you take this serious.

I worked for Papa Johns in the past and I have seen many things, especially with new managers that would steal money and ended up putting the company out of business. The pizza was incredible and we maintained optimal cleanliness(washed our hands & sanitized after each computer encounter and after making a few pizzas. We sold a lot of pizzas, but my managers found ways to keep the $$ for themselves. I loved the customers, we had the best time, and we gave whatever discounts we could to keep the customers pouring in. I ended up quitting my job because we moved and started at a new papa johns. The manager was always flying off the handle and very verbally abusive. They couldn't keep people there because of his temper, and he also would not turn on the exhaust for the oven because of money, which made people sick. I had chest pains and would get very dizzy until I got into the car to go home, then I would feel better. They ended up having to get it fixed(exhaust) because an employee ended up in the ER with carbon monoxide poisoning. It's crazy to think the there are people out there who will put others lives in danger just to save $$. This guy also sent me my tax return info and I made a lot more than what he sent me for my W2, this year and last. I think something funny is going on with this guy. Please check into it to keep the new employees safe. Area codes are 17745 and 17701

i lived in the eastern nc and moved to marion nc, i allways gotten pj pizza spent literly hundreds of dollars every couple months, for home and bussiness. but i ordered three pies here and they were horriable not cooked in middle raw toppings just all around nasty. told the mgr of the problem he told me bring them back and he would replace them. so i traveled another 10 miles back to the pizza joint got 3 more pizzas was told that they were cooked longer (only toook them 11/2 hours to cook them), took them home and they were worst than the first ones even cold in the middle still gooy in middle and in crust. called back and talked to the mgr about problem and was told that if i didnt like the pizza then i might need to try someone else. I WILL and i'll never buy another one from papa johns again and i am going to order my bussiness to never order from them again. i dont put up with rudeness and they lost my bussiness.and i had ordered from papa johns for over 15 yrs.

Last night I called my local Papa John's store to order a large pizza w/one topping , delivered. I have bought MANY dozens of pizzas from this local store and have been charged anywhere from $10 ( plus delivery fee), up to $14. I always pay cash and give the driver $20, letting them keep it all as an added tip. The last delivery I received the driver gave me a coupon for free parm breadstix . When I called in my order, a young lady took my reg pizza order and informed me the price would be $10 plus delivery fee. I said that was fine and please add the free breadsticks to the order. She informed me that Using the coupon negated the $10 price because it was a special, and specials could not be combined. I informed her I always paid twhatever they asked but the coupon said free breadstix with pizza order. She said she was sorry but the pizza would have to be charged at 'menu price' of $14 and my total charge would now be $17 ! I said it was ridiculous that by using a free coupon it would cost me another $7. I also informed her that if I ordered the same pizza online it was only $7.95. She was cordial but wouldn't budge from what she informed me was company policy. I told her I ordered many pizzas from there and the delivery staff knew me well. I asked her to reconsider the policy in light of my longstanding loyalty to them, but no go...somehow, my $10 pizza (online for $7.95) and FREE breadstix would now cost me $17, not including my usual large tip for the driver. I tried to explain the lunacy of a free coupon (obviously intended for goodwill or repeat business) actually punishing me for my business but though she was nice ando very sorry, I wasn't going to benefit from THIS special. I said no thanks and never ordered the pizza. The Chinese restaurant was very happy to get my business. Your specials are not explained well to your customers and the experience of having to practically beg for free breadstix even though that same store gave me the coupon to begin with, was very annoying and demeaning. I did not feel my loyalty to your brand was appreciated at all. The staff at this location have always been great, and always very pleasant..but this unbelievably frustrating experience with your confusing 'specials' has cost them and your company all my future business. I refuse to battle for free product that really isn't free at all. If you offer free items, provide them.. don 't punish your customers by jacking up the price of other items to pay for it. You lost a good customer over a few lousy breadstix. And the fact I am writing to you about this is even more pathetic than my annoyance at the loss of my precious, bloodbought, free but not free, breadstix!

In June, I tried to order my free pizza in your buy one get one free offer. It took me 46 minutes and I still had no order so I called the store and the girl there told me she could not assist me on line and gave me a phone number to call. Meanwhile, my daughter who is more computer savvy than I am arrived and she had problems ordering the pizza too. She called the store and asked for the manager who told her we were the third person to call about this problem and that they helped them. My daughter complained about all the time we wasted and that she thought her mother deserved a free pizza and a later time. The manager said he could not offer anything because it was an online offer. This is my fourth email. My last 2 have been ignored. I was told the store manager would call me but he never did. I cannot believe this is how you do business or that you approve the treatment I received from the manager and from my e mails. This is my last resort before I decide not to order Papa Johns anymore and tell all my family and friends about your terrible customer service. I know good customer service as I worked for Maytag and nobody gave better service than them. Thank you for any consideration you give this. Respectfully yours, Loretta J. Dion

Worst place you could ever let your kid work. Always hotter than hell no air conditioning that really works. People actually sweat in your food. No access to drinking water if your thirsty you have to buy a drink and that's if the management allows it. Barely enough hours to make a paycheck. Rude managers that only see you as a tool. So glad I quit long ago...

We ordered your pizza and to tell you the truth it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten! It didnt have hardly any ingredients on it and the ingredients it had was all in the middle of the pizza! I had a half a piece couldnt eat anymore of it! Money wasted! We were suppose to get pepperoni and got none.Charged extra for cheese and got none! NO INGREDIENTS!!!

I just brought home my pizza that I paid $12.84 for, and seen a comercial where the pizzas were only $11.00. I told the employee that they were on sale and she informed me they just went back up. She charged me $12.84

After seeing your 40,000 square foot home I can understand why a 14 cent increase in cost per pizza may leave you destitute. Get off it John, be a human being for once and take care of your people.

I think it's sick that you are willing to offer free pizzas in conjunction with the NFL yet you will not give your employees health care. It's sad and hideous. I think instead of supporting your greedy corporation I will support my local pizza guy Jerry who takes care of his employees and his community. You no longer have my business.

I just read that your CEO is cutting the hours of employees so that he will not have to pay health insurance under the new national health care. To pay the insurance for employees would add 11 cents to the cost of a pizza. Oh my God, 11 cents to make certain that someone is covered by health insurance! While we almost always order from Papa John's, we will not in the future! I hope some organization starts a national boycott against your greedy firm.
