I just sent this message to one of your customer service workers, after his unapologetic response to my order not being filled:

Derek,

Yours was a partial and unacceptable answer. Why was my order unfulfilled? You ruined an important occasion for me and embarrassed me in front of my friend. I had to ask her if she received flowers, knowing full well that she would have thanked me upon receipt. I was commemorating the birthday of recently deceased precious daughter, and I trusted you to fulfill an obligation. All you can say is that you will refund my money? What the hell kind of business response is that? I will ensure that this episode is known as widely as possible - steer clear of Teleflora.

Placed on online order on 12/16 to be delivered to a funeral home on 12/19 only to have absolutely NOTHING delivered! Customer service talked in circles, blamed me for not providing "special" instructions that the sympathy floral spray was for a funeral home but yet, the company's website specifically asks for "TYPE OF LOCATION," i.e., funeral home, apartment, church, etc. What's the point of that if they are only going to ignore their own devices? Let's not forget that of course, a funeral during any time of year is always devastating to any family but now, let's add in that a death only days prior to what should be the most joyous time of the year, is beyond joyful. How about the fact that I'm sending flowers because I cannot physically be there since it is being held out of state only days prior to Christmas and therefore, sending an arrangement in lieu of my presence to my family would only somewhat let them know that I'm thinking of them but, nope, the spray was just not delivered! Horrible customer service! Told to hold for a supervisor only to sit on the hold for 20 mins or so to speak to the same rep that said, "well, you didn't specify any special instructions." Not to mention the address was to a funeral home as well as again, the company's website specifically asks for the TYPE OF LOCATION the arrangement will be delivered to.

Well, Teleflora, thank you for absolutely nothing but making a bad time just a little worse for myself and my family! Too bad you really do not care about your customer's satisfaction.

I ordered a cookie basket for my 11 year old niece's birthday, and she received a wine and cheese basket in the mail. I contacted customer service, and they offered me 30% off what I paid for the inconvenience. I told them that I expect the issue to be resolved, and for the right gift to be sent to her. I don't understand why I should pay anything at all for something that was never received? What TERRIBLE customer service. She was so upset, as well as her parents, when she opened the package, and it was a wine and cheese basket addressed from someone else for someone else. Why is it so hard to rectify what you guys did wrong? Really, 30% off for something that was never received? I expect a full refund!

I just want to tell you that your business sucks this is the third time that my flowers that I ordered for my family out of state has been. Late an the last one they completely screwed up on my order you need to screen who you have answer the phones do not know how speak or understand never will I use this company or will I recomend anyone

Never order from them. I tried to send my daughter flowers in Hawaii. After two days of calling to see why the flowers not delivered was told the florist didnt have flowers that i wanted...(roses really this is hawaii right) but with my second choice they wanted more money. I hit the roof. they cancelled my order and still have not even my money back yet.

STOP THE FALSE ADVERTISING! Flowers are sent to express a personal gesture. Teleflora just trashes that sentiment in that they guarantee delivery of flowers, not a special arrangement either; then cancel. They cancel 5 days (give or take) after the event. So your personal sentiment is tossed on a waste bin because teleflora does not understand why they are in the business they are in.

I ordered an rose and lilly arrangement with candy and a bear two days before valentines. I got an email the day of delivery at 1 in the afternoon stating the florist could not handle all the orders and canceled my order. Then I call customer service of course out sourced to india.... after 5 pitiful phone calls they said they never charged me for the flowers , which was a lie the took the money out of my account on the 13th. My bank confirmed it. All I wanted to do was send my mom flowers(she has cancer) so she could enjoy them.. I will never use this company.

I was very UNHAPPY with Avas Flowers. I thought I was ordering from a local florist when I ordered delivery in Littleton, CO. I live in FL. The arrangement was NOT ACCEPTABLE, and looked to be FROZEN. I called the company asking for an exchange which never occurred. The recipient is on way to another hospital and I am out $72. I will never use Avas Flowers again.

Their Guarantee means pretty much nothing. They guarantee fresh flowers and if you don't happen to receive fresh flowers their is nothing they can do about and it seemed as though they could care less. The flowers ordered were for a Memorial Service on a Sunday morning. We had an arrangement with dried up green leaves and some of the flowers were dead of pieces of the flowers were missing. It was pathetic and embrassing.

I WILL NEVER USE OR BE LET DOWN BY TELEFLORA AGAIN!!! I simply ordered a plant on July 3 2013 to be delivered on July 6 2013.Instead all I received is an email at 355pm today July 6 stating there will be no delivery of the plant to the funeral home,SHAME ON YOU TELEFLORA !!!!!! That's just Horrible ,customer service at this business is GARBAGE TOO!!! I remember using them years ago no problems,why so many Let down people now????What is going on????

Same problem as others in this comment section. Ordered flowers, got email confirmation that flowers were hand delivered and yet they were never delivered. When I called Televlora for an explanation they said delivery was attempted and were unable due to family member in surgery. Googled all telefora florists in the area and found the one handling my order. They never received a call from the company and had been told the order was cancelled. No delivery was ever attempted. Unethical business, unable to contact corporate office, Don't Give Them Your Business!!!

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you to bring it to your attention on how Teleflora not only let me down but that your customer service department is in great need of learning to work with people.

On Friday, May 10th at 9am I ordered 2 different bouquets. One to be delivered later that day to my mother (in Albuquerque,NM), the other to be delivered on Saturday the 11th to my mother-in-law (in Santa FE, NM). Well Friday passed and my mom NEVER got her flowers so I called customer service to find out what happened. The young lady (who did not speak English very well) told me that the florist couldn't deliver the flowers until Monday and that they should have told me that sooner. So I cancelled that order ONLY! I was told that the second order would be delivered by 3 p.m. that Saturday to my mother-in-law. They were never delivered either. When I called Sunday morning to find out what was going on, I was told the customer service person I spoke with on Saturday had cancelled the wrong order and that the order going to my mom was still scheduled to be delivered on Monday but the order to my mother-in-law was cancelled in error. I then made sure that they had both orders cancelled.

The first two customer service people I spoke with did not sound like they were in the U.S.(simply because it was so difficult to understand either of them) and they didn't give a damn about the situation at all. You could hear it in their voices and by their attitudes. The second person I spoke with was a man and told him that I wanted to speak with a supervisor to see if there was anything that could be done to salvage the situation before I had both orders cancelled. He left me on hold for 5 minutes and then transferred me to voice mail, of which I STILL have not received a call back. The last person I spoke with was in the U.S. (I asked her) and she was sympathetic to my situation. She verified that both orders have been cancelled and that I should be recieving my refunds in 2-5 days.

Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and feel very let down. I have ordered several times from your company in the past and had been happy until now. I went on Facebook and Twitter and vented. On twitter I received a response from someone called Caleb who works for your company. He was no help at all. His only response was that I cancelled the orders and to expect a refund in 2-10 days. Yes I did cancel them because your company messed them up all the way around. There was no follow-up from your company and I completely got the feeling that nobody at Teleflora really cares about the customer. Because of that, I will not order from your company again.

I'm hoping that at least ONE of you will actually care about your company and start doing something to fix the mess that you are falling into. The world works based on the internet now and with all of the negative things that I have seen on it about your company, I don't see your company lasting another 78 years. Its a shame that you would put the all mighty dollar ahead of great customer service. That is the trick to keeping and gaining loyal clients, great customer service.

I experienced the same problems....order flowers for Mother's Day. Flowers were never delivered but they kept saying they were! Called for days - each time delivery was promised but never happened. Their customer service department is one of the worst I have every dealt with. DO NOT ORDER FROM TELEFLORA

The worst service ever!!! I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday never received, no call no show! If I did that I would be out of a job! So I called them to find out what happened. The customer service rep said there was an issue with the delivery date and they would deliver them the next day. Also offered 25% discount so I said ok. Next day called my mom to see if she received them, of course they had not arrived. Again I call the 1 800 835 3356 "customer service" number. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST ANOTHER $25.00 TO PROCESS THE ORDER!!! I CANCELLED THE ORDER AND WILL NEVER USE TELEFLORA AGAIN.

Add my negative comments to the list. I am actually filing complaint with Better Business Bureau, as I agree with the first person - it's not the money, it's the principle.
Valentine's day delivery of a bouquet and chocolates. "Hand delivered" email confirmation. Problem is - delivery never happened. Short version: two phone calls and one email later, second delivery request also never happened. No word from Teleflora. Trying to call corporate...

I will never do business with Telefloro again! I ordered flowers and balloons for my daughter's boyfriend...the flowers were half dead and never received the balloons. I have been requesting a refund for the balloons, but of course no answer. It's not about the money, but the principle!

This company is a JOKE. Do not order flowers from them because they won't deliver and then tell you they did. Then they will realize their mistake and still give you the run around before the re-send. Their customer service is the poorest I have ever seen. They are all incomptent and they put you on hold forever!!!
