I have been a customer of Sports Authority for years in South East Florida. I moved to South West Florida about 2 years ago.

As a result of moving to the West coast of Florida, I have purchased less and less from Sports Authority. I am 6'6" 250lbs (athletic build) and wear a size 14 shoe. It is almost impossible at times to find anything my size especially in shoes. Ironically, TJ Max and Marshalls usually have a better selection for me.

What I am most disappointed about with Sports Authority is their lack of support for local teams. For example, I am a huge Miami Heat fan, but unfortunately while the Heat were in the NBA finals I couldn't find so much as a T-shirt at Sports Authority. I spoke to a store manager and he informed me that they do not carry anything for the Miami Heat. Unbelievable! I ended up buying Miami Heat shirts at Kohls! They are not even a sporting goods store!

Most recently and worse yet, I couldn't even find a team USA T-shirt or a T-shirt with an American flag on it to show my support for our Olympic team. SAD!!

As a result, Sports Authority is now the last place I shop when it comes to my sporting good needs.

CS
