Original Comment I had an account with Ambit energy for less than 2 months - nearly three years ago. When I moved from Texas, I contacted this company and paid what I was informed was any payment due. Two and 1/2 years later (October 2012) I was notified by a credit collection agency that I owed money to Ambit energy. After calling ambit energy's customer service, I was informed that I did not owe anything - disregard the collection agency. In December 2012, I received a bill from the collection agency again. Ambit now states I owe them money. They have not sent me any bill verifying where this came from or the dates. They have not answered why it has taken them nearly three years to state I owe them or why a collection agency is involved. There is no verification at all except that I WILL PAY THIS AMOUNT. I want proof and answers. Ambit has not provided anything.
