Original Comment We bought an Audi Q7 in 2007, the first year they came out. We live in a ski town and own two other Audi's - an Allroad and an A2. With the all-wheel drive the Audi's typically handle well in the snow. That being said, the Q7 is and is not good in the snow. This will be the third year that I have called Audi to see if they have developed winter windshield wipers for this car and they told me they still have not! This car is an accident waiting to happen if you get "caught" in a heavy snowstorm, because the windshield wipers cannot do the job! It could also be a design error with the windshield defroster - I don't know it starts with the windshield wipers that cannot keep the windows clear of snow and water that turns to ice - it is a nightmare and has been very scary a few tifive years of being on the market with this model.mes! Very, very disappointed with Audi for not addressing this after five years of this being on the market.
