Original Comment About 18 months ago I purchased two Grind and Brew coffee makers. One for myself, the other for a friend. Did a fairly decent job even though the funnel had to be cleared more often than suggested. Recently my unit had a funny odor and the water stopped pumping rendering the unit useless. My bad as I didn't realize I had a 3 year warranty. I tossed the unit.<br /> <br /> The next week my friend called having had the same experience. Same odor and not usable.<br /> <br /> I don't know the safety implications but beware of this unit.
