Original Comment LA Fitness bought Urban Active in Ohio. I tried to renew early before my 5 year membership expired. They told me what it would but said I could not pay until the old membership expired. I tried to pay the amount quoted three times per week for a month and a half after expiration but they said it was not approved each time. After a month and a half, they said it was double what they said. Great customer service.
