Original Comment reading the complaints below match my experience as I am moving to a media com area from comcast. the sales department is eager and ready to place an order but they can not follow through on setting up new customers (or helping established ones apparently). There is a franchise agreement in my town that splits the territory between comcast and media com which I will work to have changed to strip media com of territory as it can not provide promised service. I noticed that they closed most of their offices in illinois, online customer service forums are filled with people wanting service but media com not wanting(able?) to provide it. they may be on a business decline and not in for the long term. so disappointing.
