Don't buy Ridgid. It's terrible. Customer service is incompetent unprofessional also habitual liars.I got a warranty on my tools and it's not being honored they send me to places that don't service there tools. They gave me a location that service my tools 3 to 5 miles away.Dont buy these Ridgid tools unless you want unsolved problems and the run around.

The guard on my MS1065LZ miter literally exploded ! No, I am not an idiot that does know how to use tools! Been using machinery for 50+ years.I called Ridgid for parts, but was told the parts were not available anymore. They said they had to file a safety report because it was a safety guard. When I talked to the service center about this they said that was the procedure they follow. Then they told me that if they can't get the parts they will replace the saw. The report has been filed for over 5 weeks now and have heard nothing. WHen I call or email anyone they will not return a call or email. This is very unprofessional and very poor support on the part of Ridgid. Why don't they answer any communications and they protect the safety department like they are too good to speak with anyone.

Do not buy Rigid tools they do not honor their lifetime warranty as stated on the Internet. Plus, they have a very rude customer service staff.

I purchased a Oscillating edge belt spindle sander April 5, 2021 when putting together i found that locking knob for the spindle was not threaded a mistake from factory and poor QA i have called and emailed over and over and i cannot get a response from anyone at RIDGID i have found a replacement part from parts warehouse total $18.75 My point is no one should have to purchase a part on a new tool that has never been used. Your customer service sucks. Home Depot told me i would have to drive to the next state to do replacement.

I'm soooooo disappointed I bought a mini drill set at Home Depot 4 months ago and yesterday my charger quit working then today the shaft on the drill broke so I look at the box that the set came in and it's made in China no wander it all broke the chinese made it . If ridgid keeps having their power tools made in China their gonna go out of business. I need this drill fixed or a new one and a new charger please I paid $129 for it .

I recently purchased a RIGID 10 inch table saw BUT it came in two huge pieces of Styrofoam™ within a large cardboard box. What can I possibly do with these 2 enormous pieces? Perhaps I can return the Styrofoam™ to RIGID so they can use it to pack another similar table saw.
More importantly, why can't RIGID use stiff cardboard or some other recyclable material for packing? The use of such an enormous amount of Styrofoam™ in just one package is almost unbelievable. RIGID - please, please work harder to save our planet.

I purchased multiple rigid tools in July 2019 and submitted all the required information for the lifetime warranty but never got an email saying that it was denied which it shouldn't have been denied in the first place but either way I didn't get the email so I can make whatever adjustments they needed. I recently purchased more rigid tools and went on to my rigid site to check the warranty on my other tools and it says that they're only covered under three year warranty instead of lifetime which is the whole reason why I purchased them. I called and tried to ask why they were denied in the first place and they said they didn't get an SKU number which is complete b******* because I sent them receipts for every single rigid product which had the SKU number on it so now they say that they can't help me because it's been over a few months. I am so heated about this because I've spent good money on their products which I actually like but their warranty is a complete scam they won't fix parts that need to be fixed when it clearly says that they're supposed to. Their customer service is garbage I would never ever purchase another rigid again in my life and I'm spreading the word as much as possible

It is now February 8th 2021. I started a warranty replacement for my 1/4 nut driver in August of 2020 and now 6 MONTHS later I have still not received any remedy. I brought the tool to the certified repair shop your organization directed me to. The Rigid customer service is absolutely the worst. I have purchased many rigid tools in the past but will never purchase one again! Your claims of standing behind your tools are false and misleading

Bad service: I turned my drill in on 1/5/2021 and I still do not have it back. I was told that it shipped on 1/20/2021 but Home depot has no record of shipper. What is going on?

I have been buying from ridgid for 6 years now and had the worst help on getting new tools and batteries replaced at the Greenville tx location, I have never had a problem getting a new item replaced ASAP, that's the only reason I buy ridgid for the warranty and some reason they break fairly quick. I have a lot of tools that need to be replaced or fixed ASAP so I can continue doing my construction.

I purchased a $500.00 wet saw for cutting tile( i am a contractor) i could not find on the box if a blade was included so i grabbed one(another $50)i put it together and used it, when i got home i went through the manual and see that one WAS supposed to be included but NOT. No big deal, i called and spoke with a nice young woman who said she would talk to her supervisor and send one out to me. A day later she followed up with the i spoke with my supervisor and we can't send you one. You can return the unit or call and i will Register for the warranty. So you are willing to sell an incomplete product but not send missing parts???? I intend on going 28 days and returning it and purchasing your competitors product......oh and NEVER purchase a rifgid product agian for my Construction company. To bad, the guys and myself like your product.
You should have a dictionary around to allow supervisors to see what customer service is

Several months ago I purchased a random orbital sander for my shop. I was unable to register the product on-line - customer service was helpful - I think. Bit I never succeeded in establishing an account. More recently I purchased a 1/4 sheet sander. I gave up trying to use your site to register. I tried again today - I tried to establish an account - entered my e-mail and password - nothing happened - tried several times. Tried to send an e-mail but since I'm not registered I could not send an e-mail. I tried calling customer service twice - no luck in getting through. You offer a fantastic warranty - if I can ever get registered

this is the worst company for customer service. I am going to call corporate office and threaten to drop all my Rigid tools. I can't access my account online even though it says that my email was verified. customer service is non existent and there are no options for web online service

I have been a Ridgid customer for 31 years and never have I had such poor customer service I have been trying to get ahold of a person to discuss my problem for 3 weeks I get put on hold one time I was on hold for 32 minutes the next time 21 minutes and then it just switch me to listen to more music I'll leave a call back number like they say no one ever calls me back if you're going to make a tulle and stand behind it do that but if not let the customer know that you're buying an inferior product and it does not have anyone thank you so much you have a wonderful day and God bless you

I have switched all my products from Dewalt to Rigid, based on customer service or lack of and Rigid offers(warranty). As the previous gentleman stated in his review, I had an issue with my drill, contacted Rigid and they also informed me my product(s) were not registered, it is unfortunate when a consumer calls and met with "sorry can't help you", now I know for a fact these were supposed to be registered because the safety representative who sent the replacement products said they would be registered. apparently not.so am stuck with a 1/2 inch hammer drill that has burnt windings and a bad trigger switch, I huess I will move on to another product line.

I had just about the exact issue that a previous person stated. Back in 2009, I was in Home Depot looking for a new drill combo, which I was about to purchase Dewalt. The sales rep told me about this "Wonderful Warranty" that Ridgid offers on their products, and persuaded me to purchase them instead. How could I turn down lifetime warranty and free replacement batteries? Well, this year the chuck broke on my drill, and when I went back to Home Depot, same issue. Warranty people said they never received my registration that was mailed in. Why would someone purchase a tool for a warranty and then not send it in?

fifty years ago at the age of 16, my boss told me ridgid tools were the best tools ever made, bar none ; and I have never forgotten his spoken words to me. last fall my son borrowed a roofing nail gun( porter cable ) from his friend and it broke I/2 way through the job . I bought a ridgid roofing nail gun and took it to him and said , here is the one that will get the job done . he did that roof ( my sisters ) the next door neighbors roof , my other sons roof and got about 1/3 of his own roof done and a piece at the front of the nail gun fell out . since he really only used the gun on three and 1/3 roofs, will this be considered a defect ? the receipt has vanished .

Would you please start pricing shop vacuums by horse power rather than gallon capacity. I would like a shop vacuum that is either 9 or 12 gallons with the largest available horse power motor. It would be easier to move around and could be emptied when needed. It would be easier to move around the house/shop and easier to put in a van or truck. Please give this idea a chance. Sixteen gallon vacs are a pain to move around but that seems to be how you all think, bigger is better, not true.

To: whom it may concern

Dear: Company

I Angel Valentin have been trying to replace batteries and charger from Ridgid that were bought in Home Depot. I registered the tools when I bought them to be able to obtain the life time warranty. Some months later the batteries were not working. I brought them to the store here in Jacksonville NC and they were replaced. No one told me that the exchanged batteries needed to be register. I know that Ridgid tools have to be register so, I try to register them. I was not able to because I needed a receipt. I left it at that because I had already registered my tools and they were only exchanging the batteries. Not long ago the batteries stopped working. I proceeded to take them to Home Depot . Now they are telling me that they cannot exchange them because they were not registered. The charger is not working and they say that it is.

As a contractor I rely on my tools. That is why I purchase tools that have a good warranty. I don't understand what is the problem. I don't understand what the problem with Ridgid. I paid for my tools and I registered them to have warranty on them when needed. The exchange of the batteries was done at Home Depot so they should have a record of the exchange of the batteries.

I would like the problem solved as soon as possible. If the problem cannot be resolved please return my money so that I can purchase tools with a company that would honor the warranty.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Angel L. Valentin
