Dear Sir/Madam, I'm like many of your other disgruntled customers sick and tired of dealing with incompetent customer flight call centres. I had the regrettable experience of booking a return flight Bris-Bangkok. I then requested to change my flight date/times and was advised it would cost an extra $ 250. I was advised that it was an airline policy and that Expedia don't charge for any changes. I accepted the extra charges and gave my credit card details to the consultant who confirmed my flight had been changed. I then went into my itinery booking and the flights had been changed. A couple of weeks later I checked my flights again only to find out my new flights were cancelled. I rang the call centre twice and waited 20-30 mins each time, no luck. I then rang the following day, spoke with a consultant and he couldn't offer and explanation but asked if I could hold on for 2-3 mins why he checked the reason. 25 later I hung up in frustration. This happened twice more and when I asked for to speak with a supervisor I was put on hold for another 30 mins. I rang again and spoke with another consultant who checked my booking and then informed me that the airline cancelled the booking and it would now cost me a total $440 if I wanted to fly on my requested dates. I checked The airline policy and they have fully flexible fares but I was still told the cost would be an extra $440 for changed. So the total cost going through Expedia would have been $1630. I then went back online and found a fare with the same dates and airline for $1475. So I was going to be penalised for a consultant who booked my changes and then didn't follow up. I have also been lied to by customer support and the flight consultant centre stating that Expedia don't charge for any changes- a blatant lie. After I cancelled my booking with Expedia I was then told by the consultant that it would take up to 8-12 weeks before I would receive my refund. Like many of the other disgruntled customers who have vetted their concerns I won't be using your site for any further travel requirements.
