I tried to book flights through Travelocity's web site but I couldn't because it wouldn't accept my credit card info. So I called for help and was told they were having "technical difficulties" but he could do it for me. He booked the flights but when I printed out the information on my printer, he had my husband's middle name as the last name. So I called back (the hold wait is about 7 to 10 minutes) The second agent apologized and said he would refund the money and I could re-book the flights online. I had already spent hours trying to book online that morning so I refused and told him to re-book them immediately. He did get me new tickets with a new confirmation #. I refused the insurance when asked. The next morning, there were THREE identical charges for the tickets on the credit card and a re-booking fee with charges for insurance. I called back (more hold time) and the agent apologized and said the extra charges for tickets would come off the credit card in 24 to 48 hours. When asking about the booking fee and insurance, she put me on hold for 15 minutes while she "checked on it." I finally hung up and called back and got another agent. He explained that the booking fee and insurance could be taken off the credit card but he had to ask his supervisor. I finally got it straightened out with Four agents, a half hour of total hold time, two days of frustration all for a simple trip to Florida. Two of the four agents spoke English enough that I could understand them clearly.
