Original Comment fifty years ago at the age of 16, my boss told me ridgid tools were the best tools ever made, bar none ; and I have never forgotten his spoken words to me. last fall my son borrowed a roofing nail gun( porter cable ) from his friend and it broke I/2 way through the job . I bought a ridgid roofing nail gun and took it to him and said , here is the one that will get the job done . he did that roof ( my sisters ) the next door neighbors roof , my other sons roof and got about 1/3 of his own roof done and a piece at the front of the nail gun fell out . since he really only used the gun on three and 1/3 roofs, will this be considered a defect ? the receipt has vanished .
