Original Comment This is a rip-off!!! The hotel and the airline cancelled our May 13, 2020 trip. I spoke directly to the Hotel and they said they do not have a problem refunding our money without penatly. I had to wait a month to reach someone with Travelocity. Then I had to speak with 5 agents and 1 manager. Either no one has appropriate training or they flat out don't know what a scam Travelocity is. I asked the Manager Mariah, after waiting for 4 hours to be contacted with her, who has my money??? She first said no one has it, then she said the hotel has it (clearly cluless). But due to Corporate agreement with our Hotel i Cancun they cannot refund me my money. Travelocity only wants to give me a 12-month voucher to use at the hotel. Again, I DID NOT CANCEL MY RESERVATION, they did. And now Trabelocity doesn't want to refund me my money. Travelocity is not taking ownership of being the mediator. Avoid Travelocity at all costs. I will also be contacting Better Business Bureau and then my attorney.
