I paid Travelocity for a 4 night stay at Rui Palace Las Americas in Cancun Mexico April 24 thru April 28 and received a confirmation email from Travelocity. When I arrived at the hotel they said they have no record from Travelocity. I provided the confirmation email and talked to multiple agents (3 hour wait for call back each time). The hotel charged me full price $961.12 and Travelocity almost 2 months later they still cannot contact the hotel reservation center to get my refund. I paid Travelocity and was charged again by the hotel. <br /> A lawsuit seems to be my only option to recover the loss since Travelocity connect get a response from the 3rd party reservation center the resorts in Mexico use. It seems like a scam that Travelocity is participating in by doing business with them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
