Original Comment Travelocity is impossible! I booked a hotel to New Orleans for 2020. We had to cancel it because of covid and flights being cancelled etc. I rescheduled for 2021. Unfortunately hurricane Ida had other plans for me and I had to reschedule yet again. I was told multiple times via phone, chat, Twitter DM, etc I would be able to have my full amount to rebook. I never saw that full amount available. I was told today I will only have $33 of my almost $1000 available to use. Nope not acceptable at all. Travelocity will not work with you and make exceptions when it's needed and I am livid! I refuse to lose $900+ due to circumstances beyond my control. This situation I am in is so frustrating. I was also told that they would call the hotel to see if they would allow for a refund and I was told the hotel said no. I find that hard to believe. I asked for that in writing from the hotel and that was not provided so I assume they didn't even call. I refuse to recommend or use Travelocity for anything else EVER again. They are awful.
