Original Comment The guard on my MS1065LZ miter literally exploded ! No, I am not an idiot that does know how to use tools! Been using machinery for 50+ years.I called Ridgid for parts, but was told the parts were not available anymore. They said they had to file a safety report because it was a safety guard. When I talked to the service center about this they said that was the procedure they follow. Then they told me that if they can't get the parts they will replace the saw. The report has been filed for over 5 weeks now and have heard nothing. WHen I call or email anyone they will not return a call or email. This is very unprofessional and very poor support on the part of Ridgid. Why don't they answer any communications and they protect the safety department like they are too good to speak with anyone.
