Original Comment For me, Nordstrom's Customer Service is the best. However, I wish to comment on what I feel is a wasteful practice that hopefully will be corrected. I ordered online a cosmetic a week ago (still haven't received it..a back order) and, as part of the order, I was offered three sample packets of other cosmetics. They were shipped separately, via UPS, in a large box when they could have fit in a small letter-sized envelope. Better still, why not ship them with my order. The cost of the shipping, the time taken to package them in a cardboard carton inapporiate for their size, and the cost of paying someone to do the work infuriates me because of the utter waste. Like our government's spending running amok, the buck must stop with management. This is a small economy that would save a great deal of money. Consumers know, too, that wasteful spending practices always get passed on to them. Come on, Nordstrom's, you're already batting 1000% in my book...review your shipping policies and take measures to cut out the fat. Thank you.
