Original Comment We had a death in the family; while running back and forth to the hospital, my 2 year old $2800. LG French Door Refrigerator died. However, it died slowly and we thought the water line was leaking so my husband cut the water line off. The fridge kept on leaking puddles of water. Meanwhile lots of people are coming over and nothing is cold and it is now Friday and Sunday is Palm Sunday. That Friday I attempt to contact the Home Depot Extended warranty that I purchased when I bought four LG appliances. To no avail. But then it gets better. Friday nite is a bust - the warranty company doesn't recognize my receipt. Saturday I run to Home Depot because I realize this LG appliance is flooding the kitchen and now I can't keep up and this is Florida so Home Depot here I go.<br /> Well an hour later the Home Depot appliance person puts me on the phone, I get a repair # and &quot;Erwin&quot; in the Philippines tells me I cannot get service until Tuesday, even though they know the compressor has died. So on a recorded line he prompts me to purchase a mini fridge, keep it under $250, save the receipt and LG will reimburse along with the cost of the food. <br /> Fast forward to seven days later. My claim, before they even know what it is, is rejected!<br /> Hello LG! I will see you all in small claims court.
