have a 2011 Toyota Avalon. The telescope lever that holds the steering wheel in place will intermittently becomes loose and as a result, the steering wheel will drop dowmnward by itselfs. It was taken to the dealership at 4,669 miles and a again at 8,888 miles and they are unable to find the problem. It will do this while you are driving. It is still doing this and i am getting ready to carry it back again for it is still doing it. I feel this is safety problem and that it could cause a wreck and someone could get seriously hurt or even killed become of this. The manufacturer has been called and no one can give me a answer.
