On Wednesday, February 13, 2013, I was checking out at your Eastpointe Marketplace, Dollar Tree Store #2973 a in Tucson, Arizona, phone # . I thought I gave Chelsea (the cashier) a twenty dollar bill and she replied, "I had given her a ten dollar bill" in a very professional manner (even though there was a double line of customers waiting to check out). She immediately called the supervisor and told him about my claim. He immediately took action to resolve this issue. In the meantime, I looked thru my money holder and discovered that indeed from my known count of twenty dollar bills that a ten dollar bill (I knew I had) was missing. Ofcourse, I apologized to Chelsea, she gave me my receipt indicating $4.27 change, explaining (to the effect) "no problem" and I exited the store to go to an appointment. At my appointment, I could not find my $4.27 change. When I arrived at my residence, I phoned the Dollar Tree store and spoke with Lucy (who knew nothing about the earlier incident) and from my description of the young woman, determined it was Chelsea (who was still there). Lucy went out of her way to connect me with Chelsea who said the money was still at the cash register and I could pick it up at my convenience. The next day upon arrival at the Dollar Tree, Bob, the assistant manager went to the safe and gave me the $4.27 cent change. Bob was also helping out with the double line of customers and was extremely professional amid this very busy time. In conclusion, I wish to thank Chelsea, Lucy and Bob for exceptional customer service and professionalism. I expressed to Bob (assistant manager) how lucky he was to have Chelsea and Lucy as his employees. I'm sure Chelsea and Lucy are very happy to have such a team player for a manager. Thank you, Dollar Tree These employees deserve, at the very least, an "ATTA BOY/GIRL"
