I really need some help with my Car. Chevy Aveo 2010. While driving through intersection Saturday a week ago. car looses power and just shuts down completely. Towed twice that day first to Firestone where I was informed it was something in the system that causing the fuel pump fuse to keep blowing out and they felt it was a recall issue they recommended AutoNation Chevrolet in North Richland Hills, Tex. I called and asked them before the second tow was there a TSB or a Safety Recall potentially for this issue and if there was a charge for the tow and the repair. I was told by the lady in Service department answering that day that yes there was a 2012 Open Filed Action regarding the spark plugs Omissions recall. Close of business on that next Monday finally got a call from Advisor Greg Main, surlie guy, telling me as if I was a small child, I didn't know what I was talkng about nor did the Firestone guy and that he didn't have time to really look at my car I had needed an appointment not just tow it on in even though I had spoken with with someone on Sat. Said he had 100 cars with appts ahead of mine and I would be looked at whenever his guys had five minutes to spare. REALLY! Left call back for up date on Tuesday Nothing, My daughter left call back on Wed Same Greg called her late afternoon Wednesday, She advised him she was former military and current FBI Agent and not to talk down to her like he had done to me. He explained they were too busy to give it an all at once but when had spare time still couldn't find anything wrong.and don't look for it to be a recall I would have charges..I called Dealership right back on Wed and got a Greg Turk who acted like he was over the Advisers and told me to only deal with him and not Main. He would handle<br /> and yes there certainly was an open file action. I have not been able to reach Greg Turk since that conversation. Greg Main called again at closing on Friday and said funny thing his guy still can't find anything wrong but the car will not turn on with out their equipment assisting. I am concerned and very scarred. I am on SS and have told him many times I have no car, no way to get to dr appts and need loaner, his comment was everyone needs that and no they have nothing. Says he will so far charge me for the diagnostics (remember that same day he got my car Firestone sent over their diagnostic and confirmed with him) Main says I and my daughter are really bothering him and when he finds something he will let me know that his guys get $150 per hour and parts. Again here me I am on limited budget....My fear now is that he has had my car for 7 days nothing found for the cause of car dying I don't want him to piddle with my car (since he says they are not working continuously or very hard to find the problem) I don't want him to finally say he will charge me for the time then the storage and then send to the pound for me to recover because he knows a huge bill will devastate me....HELP ME please. I NEED my car but no hankey panky with the service or the bill. My trust for your service department has hit bottom. Someone from Corporate please let me know what to do....
