Original Comment I have a 2007 rav-4 taking it for second oil consumption test The first one they said it was a little low nothing to worry about I didnt get see dipstick which i asked see they topped it off sent me on my way that was at 1200 miles the next 3800 between oil changes i used 3 more quarts oil so in 5000 miles i used allmost 4 QT.So thats see 4 qt $16 than oil change 39$ So imgoing back when 1200 miles comes around c tell them leave tape on filer/oil cap oil pan drive it 2000/3000/4000/5000 have oil checked by certified mack. willbe4 qt low this is not normal to USE THAT MUCH OIL woill be hard on internal partmaybe even lock up motor hope im not on interstate me or someone else might get HURT THAN MAYBE THEY WILL FIX THE PROBLEM THEy should told ALL TOYOTA DEALERS THER WAS MAYBE A OIL PROMBLEM RECALLED ALL 2007-2008 TOYOTA RAV-4 S OR SOLD Us 2009 which has diffrent motor or problen was corrected They said its nomal use oil .its not because i use 4 QT in 5000 miles B---S---T FIX THE DAMN SUB BY 1996 Tacoma had 279000 same MOTOR MY 2005 SAME MOTOR NEITHER ONE USED OIL DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM FIX IT PISSED OFF TOYOTA OWNER I alllso have 2002 Toyota Camery I even sent peple to dealership They bought TWO TACOMA because i had no problens with my 279000 one TOM
