I've owned over 75 new cars in my lifetime. From Fords to Mercedes to even a new 88' Rolls Corniche. I've also owned seven Jeeps with now havjng a 19' Jeep Altitude. Two days after buying this car I started receiving on average 20 "weather alerts" a week that have continued now since Dec of 18'. That works out to about 1600 notifications in the last 20 months!!! None of those alerts have applied to my area and as you know, this intrusion cannot be disabled!!! This is a dangerous annoyance that is without a doubt the most pompous ineffective feature ever "force fed" to the unsuspecting car buyer. I've seriously contemplating legal action after having two near accidents while driving with this constant distraction. You do realize that the driver needs to take their eyes off the road the acknowledge this constant alert! Whomever invented or sold your company on this pathetic intrusion should receive the "Edsel" award and then pistol whipped. This is without a doubt the most egregious act of pure stupidity ever perpetrated on the unsuspecting car buying public...
