Original Comment Obviously this is from a third party. Just read it. Why can't there be a number or email address listed for this contact ???<br /> There is something strange with the corporate offices. I contacted what I thought was Kitchenaid customer service and was told by individual that my 9 year old dishwasher would be repaired at no cost to me &amp; parts needed would be sent to me at no cost. I was in such shock; it didn't sink in until a day later. Why are they absorbing these cost on a 9 year old machine ?? Contacted repair company &amp; said they have authorization for repair. Company also said they would need my credit card number in case Whirlpool/Kitchenaid didn't approve charges. WHAT ! Sounds pretty close to a scam to me!<br /> Told repair company if they want to repair unit feel free but I will not pay for service nor give them my credit card number. Something sticks here! If it sounds like a duck &amp; walks like a duck....you know the rest !
