It is with great disappointment I write this email. I know Lowe's probably could care less about me, an individual, but I need to vent.

I am not sure where to begin. We placed an order for a stackable washer and dryer unit for a little over 1360.00 online. Just after placing the order I received an email confirmation saying there were two orders placed. One at an Arvada CO store and one for the Aurora CO store. I immediately called the customer service line and was told that she could see the error and cancelled the order from the Aurora store. We thought everything was fixed.

The next day we went on a short three day trip (with no phone service or Internet) and returned late last night. My husband checked the bank account and there was 0 in the account and over 600.00 in overdraft fees. Both orders were placed and money was taken out of the account. There is also 2 pending transactions for two more orders to the tune of 3000.00 to come out of an empty account today!

I called Lowe's customer service first thing this morning. I was told by Mona to call our bank.

I called the bank, the bank considered the charges fraud and filled a claim. They also told us to call the store.

I called the Arvada CO store where the two pending orders were placed and was on the phone with a customer service rep Regina. While on the phone with her, the phone call was interrupted by the store operator and ended. She had just asked for my number but did not call back. I called her within 30 seconds and asked to speak to her. I was told she had gone on her break! In the middle of a call! I was livid! I had already had to tell the issue to 4 people.

I asked to speak to a manager. The phone was handed to a man who said " hey". I asked who he was and he said " Josh" . When I asked what was his position he replied " yea, assistant manager". I again explained my issue. He then turned the phone over to Rob who said he was the assistant manager.

Rob said our problem was with the bank. That they had authorized the charges. I tried to remain calm. I didn't raise my voice, use any ugly language, or accuse. I was lied to. I cancelled the order all together and Rob did help with this. I explained I felt like Regina had been very disrespectful. His response was "I need to talk to my girls".

The issue is still not resolved. Our bank (Wells Fargo) says that Lowe's is at fault. The charges came from the Arvada store. We were told it could take 10-15 days for the money to be returned. We are not OK with that. The money came out immediately and is not available. What if that money was my house payment? Or power bill payment. How can Lowe's just take money unauthorized, keep it, not be truthful, and then lie?

We are beyond frustrated as you can see. Lowe's owes me a washer and a dryer if for no other reason then for the frustration caused. We have a negative bank account because of your errors, we owe overdraft charges that we would never have had otherwise. I still do not have a way to wash clothes and won't until the money is returned.

I want to make a formal complaint with someone, but cannot find how or where to do so. We prefer Lowe's over others and spend several thousand each year there. We are educated, ethical customers and expected to be treated respectfully and instead were treated poorly.

Totally Dissatisfied

Sent from my iPad
