Original Comment JCP is denying returns with a valid receipt. they use a 3rd company called "the retail equation" to track returns. I buy clothing for 5 people and the fitting rooms at my jcp are always closed. I buy several pairs in different sizes, go home and have the family try them on, whatever doesnt fit I return usually within 2-3 weeks with the valid receipt, all tags attached, and unworn. Most of the clothing ranges in price from $8-$30 and the receipts were around $100 total. Not sure why a mom is being targeted for "fraud" when I have valid receipts. I spoke to the manager at jcp and he says he cannot do anything and i have to contact "the retail equation", when I call the retail equation they say they will contact jcp and get back to me in 30 days? seems strange that jcp doesnt accept returns with a receipt. I will no longer shop at jcp if i cannot return anything.
