Original Comment We sold our home to a purchaser using Citizens bank as their mortgage company. This process has been on going for 3 months now. We have had several closing dates that have come and gone, and have still not closed. The excuses have ranged from being understaffed and still processing June applicants, to no answer at all. All attorneys for all sides get no action or response either. What should of been a closing date of September 17 has turned into a no response.We as purchasers have dead lines on our contracts and we are now in the process of having to redo and update them at an extra cost to us. Our latest deadline is approaching where we will lose our locked in interest rate and have to redo our financials. Who is The braniac who is overlooking this division of your banking establishment and why are they not being held accountable? This is the exact reason why the banking system had to be bailed out, you'd think that you would learn by your mistakes but apparently not. To all who read this take notice that Citizens Bank is not the bank to do business with for your mortgage needs, not only do they not address your needs in a timely fashion they do not return calls and the underwriters are not local. We are still at a stand still with all our belongings in a moving truck in our drive as the closing date scheduled for today was postponed again! We need action what are you going to do about this?
