I purchased two Amana heat pumps from your agent Goodman Manuf. in Nov. 2009.In November 2012 the condenser of one unit had to be replaced. Now in October 2013 the indoor coil of BOTH units had to be replaced due to leaks. The warranty covered the material costs but the labor costs was $750. Interestingly, the copper coils were replaced with aluminum coils. My service provider told me that he had several similar cases of leaking copper coils from this particular unit. It sounds like this is a manufacturing error that should be covered under a recall. What are the odds of two quality products failing at the same time in the same way? Why should I have to pay for your manufacturing error?
