On February 4th 2014 what I thought was the best decision was the worst decision I could have made. After pondering and looking around for a nice bedroom suit for my daughter I came across a flyer from Badcock. I went into the store located at 54 Bullsboro Drive Newnan GA 30263. The sale that was taking place at that particular time was "finance $1,000 and save 20%" Sounded like a good deal to me. Well the total price of the bedroom suit was not $1,000 so I added a TV. 32" Haier for $238.40 (Sale Price) to reach $1,000. The furniture and TV. was delivered on 02/10/2015. Well on February 17th, while unhooking the cable cord from the port of the TV. to connect a digital box the entire port came out of the TV. I was like "WOW!!! This is a brand new TV. that should have not came out that easy. I have only had it a week." So I called Badcock on Friday February 20th around 11:30a.m. to let them know what happen, because the first thing to do is take what you purchased back where you purchased it from. The associate on the phone told me to bring it back and they would replace it. Well I took the TV. to Badcock on Saturday February 21st and they told me that they were a 3rd party and I had to take the TV. back to Haier.. So now I am like WHAT???? Who does this? Why are you selling something you cannot replace. The female associate I spoke with yesterday told me that I could bring it back to Badcock. Everybody in the store denied that they told me that. So he gave me the number to Haier I called them and they gave me a Repair center in Duluth GA (Golden Home Repair Services) to take the television to. Between my work schedule 8a.m.-5p.m and Golden business hours being the same plus being a single full time parent my schedule would not allow me to get to Duluth GA until March 9th. Duluth is an hour and 15mins drive from Newnan GA. After dropping the TV off there, the Golden Repair center in Duluth told me that they spoke with Haier and their instruction were to take the TV. back to Badcock. Ok, fine!! Now I feel like I am getting the run around. So on March 9th around 6:20p.m. I went to Badcock in Newnan GA asked to speak with the manager. Again, he informed me that he was not going to replace the TV. because it was physical damage (blaming me for the port coming out) It was not my fault I am a female who is not that strong.. Really?? So now I am very pissed. Not only am I pissed about being given several incorrect directions from both Badcock and Haier, but mainly pissed from the fact that I have $238.40 TV that I only had for a week and cannot watch because EVERYONE REFUSE TO REPLACE IT OR REPAIR IT.. It does have a warranty right? The only things I heard from the unprofessional manager at Badcock and Customer Service Reps from Haier "NO" & "I Can't" "NO I am not going to replace it, and No I can't do anything about it" "You need to call Haier." Per Haier "You need to go back to Badcock" Boy oh boy do I regret the decision of opening an account with Badcock and buying the brand Haier. Your customer is your biggest advertiser. You can print out 1 million flyers, run 2 million 30 second commercials, but a displeased customer can make your business go from exceptionally well to an epic failure just by word of mouth and reaching out to his or her friends. This was my first time purchasing the brand Haier, and just may be my last. Haier, as well as Badcock is giving me the run around. I spoke with 2-3 different Customer Service Rep from Haier and they all said the same thing. "I understand your frustration." The #1 popular script to say to a displeased customer. I know I have worked in the Customer Service field for over 7yrs now. Not only that they have lied to me saying that they could not reach Golden.. Mighty strange to me every time I call them I get an answer. Matter of fact the last time I called them I had to conference to call with Haier in order to get what they needed e-mailed to Haier. Seems like I was doing someone job, and it definitely wasn't Golden Repair Service. At this point I am very frustrated. After reading the reviews about Haier it was all Negative. They all said you all did not want to replace the electronic devices and they all had warranty just like I do. I wished I would have read them before I made the purchase. I just don't know what to think. Never would I have thought that a TV. I purchased less than a month ago would give me so many problems to have it repaired under warranty. What I do know is that I now have a TV. at my home that does not work, and NOBODY wants to replace it. I don't know how to feel... I basically gave Badcock $238.40 for NOTHING. Very unsatisfied!!! Zero would be both Badcock and Haier's score on a survey from me right now. This is my first and last time financing and purchasing anything from Badcock and buying the brand Haier..
