Today, April 15th, 2015 we visited Sam's Club in Kannapolis, NC around noon. We purchased our items and had to wait in the check out line for over 10 minutes. There was only two lanes open. While I was paying for our items, my husband went to get us some lunch, he came back and said he needed my Sam's Card to purchase the food, even though I was right there at the register. He got upset and said, "we might have to start going to Costco", then walked away. The man checking me out said, (in a smart tone) "you are free to go anyplace you want to, of course anywhere expect my bedroom! I was dumfounded and finally said, "you don't have anything to worry about!"He then said, " I don't know where that came from!" (regarding his comment) I was already upset with him because he was smarting off at me because I wouldn't listen to him trying to give me a sales pitch about something. (I had already heard him give it to the couple in front of us.) I really don't want to cause anyone to lose their job, but undoubtedly he needs some training on dealing with the public. I don't have his name, but he did write the number 3541 at the top of my receipt and there is the number 738 at the right side of the date & time. Thank you for your time.
