I called CVS -Quincy Shore Dr, Quincy MA about my prescription, I was told via the automated system I could pick it up at 10AM. My daughter went to pick it up after 4PM and was told they could not fill it. I later called and was told because the prescription was being filled by CVS Caremark they could not fill it. I was told CVS Caremark would have to take it back, unfill it, before the CVS in Quincy could fill it. Being aggravated, I asked why I was told in the morning the prescription would be filled at 10AM. The person said the automated system is wrong at times. I was told they could fill it when the CVS Caremark unfilled it at a price of over $129.I informed them I normally pay $80 for similar 3 month prescription. I was told they can't give me the same price. When asked if CVS Caremark was part of CVS, I was told they are a different division and don't have the same price. I am disappointed that the automated system said I could pick up the prescription, then told by the pharmacy I could not get the prescription. This needs to be corrected. The only thing they would do is charge me over $10 for 4 pills/2 days for the prescription while I wait for the prescription delivered by CVS Caremark.
