I currently reside in Junction City, KS. On 7 Oct 2021 I traveled to LaGrange, GA with my 69 y/o mother. We were going to attend her brother's funeral. I noticed the motor light had come on while driving through Jonesboro, Arkansas. I located an Autozone in the area to check the sensor. I was informed that it was a knockout sensor. The clerk directed me to a Chevrolet dealership on Highland Ave. I believe was the location. I explained my issue and the reason for our trip. The clerk told me they were unable to take any vehicles in even emergencies. However, she called her manager to see if he could assist us. The gentleman came up checked out the vehicle and turned off the sensor. He assured me that the car would make it to GA. He told me if the light came back on take it to a dealership. The light came back on upon arriving in GA that night. I woke up early the next morning. I called the Chevrolet dealership on LaFayette Pkwy in LaGrange, GA. I called at 0833hrs and explained the emergency request for service. I also stated where I was traveling from as well as the nature of the trip and my need to leave on Monday 11 Oct 2021. I was told they would give the message to the service manger Terry. I never received a call back. I called back about 0950hrs. I was told again they would give Terry the message and he would call me back. I expressed again to the clerk the emergency need. I informed the clerk that I was on my way to the dealership. Upon my arrival the clerk asked if I was the lady from out of state with the emergency. I said yes. The clerk then paged Terry. When Terry came in he asked me how could he help. I explained the situation again. He told me I'm sorry we can't take any cars in. I asked him why? He mentioned the issues with receiving parts. I said of course I'm aware of the news. I asked if I purchased the part could they put it on. He stated, No. I was told his mechanics are 5 cars behind. I asked if there was any other partner dealership they work with. He told me everyone is basically in the same situation. He then tells me the only place he could think of to help was a dealership in Alabama. I understand situations that are out of our control. However, I feel the blatant disregard to not even return my call. It was very rude and disrespectful. He didn't even try to look at the vehicle at all. This is a horrible representation of the Chevrolet professionals. I do appreciate the outstanding care and concern that was extended to me and my mother in Arkansas. The LaGrange, GA team desperately need training in customer service and simple respect. Thank you
