Norwegian and ITA airways messed up my airline tickets to Rome/Bologna, where I was going to my dream cruise. ITA refused to give me a boarding pass aledging that Norwegian needed to approve the new itinerary. Even if I understand the 72 hr contract with ITA, my contract was with Norwegian and even though they listened, they did not do anything to help me and I lost the boat. If ITA would have send their new itinerary weeks in advance, instead of the day before the cruise, I would have even purchased a new airline ticket. I am devastated, my friends are in this cruise and we were celebrating my 70th and my partner's 80th, and we are not on the cruise. Norwegian assured me that they were not going to leave me stranded in Europe, they instead, left me hanging, no cruise!!! The money back by Norwegian or the insurance protection, cannot repay the anguish, disappointment and sadness that I'm feeling right now!!!
