The Central Electric Module has been replaced twice since the purchase of my refrigerator in 2006. I remember when Amana was a trusted name for large ticket items that were built to last. In the past, I always felt comfortable purchasing your products. This item is defective and has been costly, besides causing a great deal of inconvenience. Sad to say Amana has gone by the wayside like so many other big companies forgetting their loyal customers who have helped them become a household name. Customer Service didn't even slightly consider reimbursing/assisting me with my losses:<br /> <br /> Approximately $650 for 2 repairs<br /> $400 in groceries<br /> $85 for a small refrigerator to salvage some of my food<br /> <br /> I have paid for my refrigerator twice in 7 years. Due to my complete dissatisfaction I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Complaints.com
