Original Comment I really liked Aldi's until I got to the checkout. I was appalled when the cashier asked ( I should say all but screamed) will you be using a debit, cash or ebt card? It is bad enough that people who need help have to use an ebt card but to have a cashier ask that question in a loud voice and then repeat it is ridiculous. I don't even use a food card and was embarrassed for them you could tell they were humiliated. Until you change your policy I will not shop at Aldi's. I have talked to my friends on facebook and people are appalled at this practice. A nice store but I can not tolerate people being humiliated so I will not shop there.
