Dear Subaru of America,

Our first purchase of a Subaru vehicle happened Feb. 14, 2015 as I purchased a 2015 Outbck for my wife. Ten days later, after a snowfall, significant condensation was noticed inside and across the front windshield. Fearing that this could cause damage to the dashboard circuitry, we contacted the dealership where we purchased the vehicle, Flagstaff Subaru, and reported the problem with documented photos on Feb. 24 and returned the vehicle to the same dealership on February 27 and it has been there ever since. We are now getting very nervous in our decision to purchase a Subaru despite the favorable reviews. The vehicle has been in the dealership for 3 weeks now with no viable explanation other than waiting on parts. Temporary tags were purchased in the agreement which will soon be expiring and we haven't even driven the car on the roads for 3 weeks! We now are due to make the first payment on this automobile( after putting a $13,000 down payment on the car) and quite honestly, the vehicle has been at the dealership longer than it has been in our possession! Should we be held responsible to make payments on a car we have only had 13 days? In researching issues with the 2015 outback, it appears this is not an isolated issue on leakage or wind noise according to the NHTSA office.

While we feel we have been exercising patience in this situation, previous communications with the dealership concerning our dissatisfaction has not been resolved in a timely manner nor adequate attention paid to address our concerns. Frankly, the situation is causing us mistrust in the dealership and needless to say, the Subaru organization. We were very much looking forward to the Subaru experience recognized in your advertising.

Please advise,

John and Maureen Armour
