Hi my name is Valerie Johnson, I have been servicing my car with Firestone for quite some time. In 2014 I got a tune-up. Less than 4 days later the engine light came back on in my car, also my car was slightly skipping at times. I took my car back to Firestone and inquired that the engine light was back on, and my car still felt as if was stuttering/skipping as it was before. My car was examine again, (I had already paid for diagnostic test) I was told that they did not know why the light had come on again and advise me to take my car to Auto Zone and have them run a diagnostic, and bring it back to them and they would be able to then determine my problem by the auto zone number printout and then would fix my car. I continued driving until problem really got worse. I finally took my car to another Firestone location and it was determined that my gaskets were leaking fluid down in the spark plugs, and needed repair. I was told the first tune-up should not have been done because of the existing problem which was not diagnosed the first or second time I took my car in. Once I was told, I contacted management to express my concern. New manager spoke with me, said he would look into the situation and get back with me. It has been several days, and he still has not communicated the results of his investigation. At this point I am trying to relay my concerns with Corporate to file a complaint.
