Original Comment I paid a bill totalling $50, the company cashed and desposited our check done via on-line banking and 4 months later we are still getting calls asking for the money. We have sent them a copy of the check that they accepted and deposited. They then charged my husband the money and sent him a list of my medications over the past few years, a direct HIPPA violation if I ever saw one. After speaking with 6 different people, most incompetant, I was assured in later calls that they saw the problem and would fix it, a final call told me that our bank had "taken back" the check, our bank DID NOT! We've gone about 2 weeks and I just got another message that we owe the money. May have to look into an attorney to help with this.
