We brought our 2012 Chevy Equinox for a diagnostic test and was oil was leaking from the engine cover and it would cost $966.52 to fix. They told us this on May 17th a Tuesday. Our advisor called in Wednesday and said the vehicle will be ready on Thursday. We didn't hear anything back from them. I called on Friday and Saturday nothing. My husband went there Monday morning May 23th and was told by Shawn J the manager we it cost nearly $2900 because the timing chain was broken. My husband asked how did it break because it wasn't broken when we brought the vehicle in. My husband told him you can't drive it if it's broken and Shawn J said we had the vehicle towed and my husband told him he drove it in and the advisor drove it to the back. Again we had to wait two more days and we had to pay $1789 to get our vehicle. Shawn J the manager said we had to pay some for the timing chain. We should've only paid $966. We spoke Chevrolet customer service and they offered us oil change vouchers. REALLY We only want our $700 back. <br /> I'm gonna reach out to everyone that I think of to help with this matter. If they did this so freely to me then how many more.
